The Witch's Wandering Alchemist's Diary

Chapter 100: A Plague Like a Sun Shower

Chapter 100 The Plague Like a Sun Shower

As soon as Lorraine and several Pure Elves entered the dungeon, they sensed the mournful cries emanating from the bricks and stones.

The trees, engulfed in flames, were also wailing.

The combined wails fueled the pure-spirited elves' uncontrollable rage.

"Falion hasn't come in yet."

An elf looked at the bricks.

"Hmph, those heretics of the Cycle School are probably gloating right now. They're getting too excited to watch the forest burn."

Lorraine looked on with disdain.

But the other elves whispered, "In that case, let's take all the bricks."

Upon hearing this, the elves' eyes lit up: "Although we've already decided on the share of these bricks, if we take them all and then destroy this place, they'll have no reason to attack us."

Even if everyone probably knows what happened, it's because there's no legitimate or suitable reason.

Even if the elves fight amongst themselves, they cannot launch an open and aboveboard attack without a legitimate and appropriate reason.

Things done without evidence are no different from slander.

The elves nodded in agreement and decided to move all the bricks and stones out.

They used vines to wrap the bricks and stones tightly, so easily without any hindrance.

A druid transformed into a black bear and wrapped the vines around his back.

The elves immediately headed outside.

However, the moment they left the dungeon, it collapsed with a loud crash.

The elves looked at each other, bewildered, wondering what had happened.

But she still smiled and said, "That's good, it saves us time from dealing with it."

The sounds of bombardment and explosions echoed all around, mingling with the roars of mages and the howls of elves.

A group of kobolds suddenly came running from a distance. Walker bowed and said, "My lords, Lord Farion has sent me to inform you that the mages and adventurers are about to break through the defenses. Please leave here immediately."

The old, dog-headed man had a humble appearance.

But the elves' eyes gleamed with a cold light; they wanted to kill the kobolds and cover up their own actions.

Walker was gradually retreating, and the few kobolds around him were his pawns used to block the elves.

But before the elf could make a move, a green light burst forth from the black bear.

"roar!!!"

The black bear roared desperately, trying to untangle itself from the vines.

However, the vines seemed to come alive, piercing deep into the black bear's body.

"What's going on!"

Lorraine asked anxiously, "What happened?"

Several elves were about to step forward to help, but several more vines instantly pierced through their bodies.

Lorraine was terrified and didn't care about anything else.

He immediately turned and ran away.

Walker stared at those things, then turned to run away.

But some vines swiftly and frantically reached for them, and Walker shouted urgently, "Stop those things!"

Several kobold warriors rushed forward, but were entangled in the vines like toys.

It was crushed into a puddle of mud, and the lens on its body was also crushed into powder, falling into the vines.

At that very moment, these lenses seemed to resonate with the bricks and stones.

The black bear had been drained of its blood and transformed back into the form of an elf, while the other elves were like withered tree trunks, showing no trace of blood.

The bricks and stones wrapped in vines resembled flower buds.

As the crystal powder fell into it, a burst of light shot into the sky!

A strange but intense wave swept across the entire Twilight Forest in an instant.

In an instant, all the flames burning in the forest were extinguished.

However, the elves who were fighting the mage changed their expressions drastically: "Damn it, what's going on! Their wails are getting even worse."

The mages also frowned; the fluctuation made them all want to back out.

As spellcasters, they clearly understood that whatever emitted such fluctuations was something they could not contend with.

Moreover, the dungeon had already collapsed. The center of the fluctuation was also the location of the spell.

There's no need to persist any longer.

After a brief discussion, the mages threw several small fireballs into the sky to signal a retreat.

Upon seeing the signal, Dwight had no choice but to grit his teeth and retreat.

The elves were still hesitant, wanting to see what had happened.

After the mages retreated, the other adventurers and merchants' mercenaries also began to retreat.

However, many adventurers and mercenaries were slow to retreat.

Because many of them were injured, the elves were still too overpowered in the forest environment.

Relying on their extremely flexible vines, various thorn spells, and the cooperation of the kobolds, they inflicted a great deal of damage on the adventurers.

After finally managing to retreat back to their original camp, they saw another beam of light shooting into the sky.

The mages didn't know where the newly appeared pillar of light came from.

However, the kobold Walker knew where the beam of light was.

It was near a lake.

At the entrance to the dungeon, the "flower bud" bloomed.

The bricks and stones first turned into powder, then they interacted with the crystal powder and merged into a headless stone sculpture.

The sculpture is an elf wrapped in a cloak of leaves, with various vines constantly climbing out of it.

"Bang bang bang"

A huge wooden wall formed from tree roots suddenly rose from the ground, connecting the location of one pillar of light to the location of another.

The beam of light shattered with a deafening roar.

And then came a snowfall, a shimmering snowfall that looked like fragments of the sun.

The "snow" first touched the trees, and the trees instantly became grotesque, like a person in pain.

And from the treetops, sparkling crystal leaves began to grow.

Birds also fell like raindrops.

"Get inside!"

The adventurer hurriedly shouted, but there were only so many rooms that they couldn't accommodate everyone.

Some adventurers hid under the trees, while others lay directly on the ground, their hands wrapped in cloth, covering their necks.

Most of them wore leather armor, as long as their bare skin did not touch the ground.

There are absolutely no problems.

This method saved many adventurers.

But suddenly, one of the adventurers broke down and cried.

"Ghostwood Town! Ghostwood Town is going to be wiped out!"

He cried out in anguish, and the other adventurers were horrified.

They are adventurers, capable of reacting quickly and finding solutions.

But what about the people of Ghostwood Town? If no one organizes them or reacts in time, they might be wiped out by this snow.
