The Witch's Wandering Alchemist's Diary

Chapter 29 is truly a tough nut to crack.

Hard Bone saw those adventurers from the very beginning.

But being a clever dog, he decided to lie low.

What happened next was exactly as expected. The adventurers, accompanied by mages, began their conquest of the dungeon.

This mage and adventurer are always so selfish and domineering.

All dungeons are treasures nurtured by Mother Earth.

It belongs to all living things; only humans are so selfish.

They deserve to be taught a lesson.

He just kept waiting and waiting, until the adventurers had cleared away the crystallized monsters outside and the treants had been defeated.

"The time has come!"

He roared to the sky and led his remaining warriors to the vicinity of the dungeon.

"Humans!"

Hard Bones held a disc in one hand and a staff in the other.

He roared triumphantly, "Today! This dungeon belongs to the Hard-Boned Priest!"

The kobold warriors kept barking; not all monsters have the ability to speak.

Dwight was taken aback at first, then couldn't help but laugh.

His mage apprentices laughed loudly, "Master! This world is truly vast, and you can find all sorts of things. To see such an arrogant and ignorant dog-headed man today!"

One of the mage apprentices even confidently said, "Master, let me teach this kobold a lesson."

Lou Le frowned; in her Scrooge-like eyes, the result of what the kobold priest was holding had already been revealed.

[A worn-out, ultra-thin, automated cooktop]

It is a kitchen utensil.

"Qianlin Company's products are extremely thin and highly automated. They can absorb various energy sources to replenish the stove's energy, heat, electricity, and 1,800 different types of energy."

"Products from Qianlin are guaranteed to give you peace of mind and satisfaction."

"The price is only 99, not 998, not 288, just 99, that's right, just 99!"

"99 Magic Stones, easily bring it home. Extreme heat, comes with multiple flame designs."

"Dear customer, we support paid customization of the flame design."

(Note: Repair and safety are not guaranteed after damage.)

(Note: It is nearly damaged—95% damaged.)

Lou Le couldn't help but take a step back, afraid that what the guy was holding might explode.

Seeing this, the tough guy roared in anger.

"Humans, I want you to witness the beginning of my legendary journey!"

He held the disc high in his hand: "From this day forward, I shall be the King of the Kobolds!"

"Come out!"

He shouted, and Lou Le took another step back.

Dwight looked at the object in the kobold's hand, a thought flashing through his mind: "Could it be a treasure from the dungeon?"

The dog-headed man then channeled all his magical power into the disc.

"roar------!"

A struggling fire dragon struggled to emerge from the plate.

It hovered in the sky, emitting a violent roar.

The tremor caused countless flocks of birds to take flight, startling the mage apprentices so much that their legs nearly gave way.

How could a kobold possibly use such magic?!

The adventurers had already made their escape, especially Hudson and Glico, who were among the first to flee.

"The most important quality for an adventurer is to be faster than his peers," Greg exclaimed. "Hudson, you've got solid fundamentals."

"Glico, you're not bad either."

The two exchanged a smile and then secretly sped up their pace.

Glico also secretly kicked a stone in front of Hudson, who jumped over it with a small leap.

He glanced at Glico sideways; "You little brat."

Dwight's heart leaped: "I want this treasure!"

The unyielding creature roared, "Humans! Submit to my power!"

Dwight immediately told his apprentice, "Spread out and prepare to activate your Lesser Mage Armor. Don't engage the fire dragon; attack the kobold directly."

"Remember, you must preserve that treasure and not damage it. You all should understand the significance of that treasure."

"That is a bright future."

"Yes!" Farin shouted, ready to begin.

Dwight then looked at Lou Le: "Lou Le, if you stay and watch, I will soon destroy this kobold."

Lou Le raised an eyebrow: "Am I just supposed to watch?"

Dwight gritted his teeth.

He thought that the items in the dungeon would require a complex appraisal process to determine their specific uses.

It could even be life-threatening, but now that fearless kobold has found a way to use this treasure and discovered its specific purpose.

Replace it! It absolutely must be replaced!

He said, "I'm willing to offer you an item from the dungeon as payment."

Lou Le was very satisfied. She smiled and said, "Very good. Then the ownership of this kobold and the treasure in his hand belongs to you, Mage Dwight."

She also bent down slightly.

Dwight nodded in satisfaction and immediately began casting spells to attack the kobold.

The monks' apprentices also contributed their efforts.

The fire dragon looked extremely majestic, and it truly was.

It could spew out long, cone-shaped flames, scorching a large area black, and countless treants were burned to a crisp.

Lou Le felt heartbroken seeing this; it all cost money!

However, Dwight had his mage apprentices use a dispersed attack method, relentlessly attacking the kobolds.

The kobolds were forced to mobilize their fire dragons and constantly defend.

This enraged the kobolds.

What's going on? I clearly summoned this fire dragon, so why couldn't I defeat them easily?

Impossible? Absolutely impossible!

He barked incessantly, ordering the kobold warriors around him to attack the mage apprentice.

But the mage apprentices weren't afraid at all; their low-level mage armor wouldn't break even if these kobolds attacked them for an hour.

It's just a wooden stick; there's not even any iron.

To crush means to completely crush.

Lou Le watched as the damage to the plate rapidly increased, and she couldn't help but take another step back.

The kobold was rapidly defeated because his magic could only summon a fire dragon for a limited time.

If it cannot deal with these mages, it will be defeated.

"Flash Explosion!"

Dwight seized the opportunity and immediately unleashed this spell.

A blinding flash of light, then an explosion.

Even with his eyes closed, Lou Le could still feel the blinding light.

Not to mention the kobolds.

He suddenly couldn't see anything, and then several frost rays struck his spine and knees.

The kobold panicked instantly and desperately wanted to surrender.

However, he knew that even if he surrendered, he would not survive.

"Even if I die, I will not let you obtain the treasure for nothing!"

With a sudden burst of determination, he bit down on the plate with his teeth.

The fire dragon roared and exploded violently in the air.

The kobold's hard bone also experienced a violent explosion, almost creating a large crater.

Two bones flew to Lou Le's front and rolled around in front of her.

Lou Le curled his lip: "She's really a tough nut to crack."
