The Witch's Wandering Alchemist's Diary

Chapter 79 The Necromancer Amos

"He's just an orthopedic surgeon."

A man who looked extremely thin walked out from a distance. He was wearing a black robe and holding a bone staff in his hand.

"By the way, he's Amos, a first-ring necromancer."

Amos pointed at the archer and said, "But you are truly remarkable. To enslave the skeleton of an elf in front of a druid and a half-elf. Aren't you afraid that the druid will see this and turn against you?"

Lou Le tilted his head and glanced at Amos: "These are just skeleton soldiers summoned by magic; they shouldn't have anything to do with elves."

"No, no, no," Amos shook his head and said, "The Summon Skeleton spell will only summon low-level skeletons."

"However, your skeleton soldier has the potential to grow stronger; its aura is gradually increasing."

"This definitely can't be a first-ring mage summoning skeletons."

"The original was a first-circle spell to summon skeletons, but this is a modified version of the spell," Lou Le said calmly. "It's only natural that it has room for improvement."

Amos's eyes lit up, and he stepped forward shakily: "Would you be willing to sell this spell model? I'm willing to give you everything I own."

But as soon as she said it, she became somewhat discouraged and said, "Perhaps I don't have what you need, senior."

So, at this point, you call him "senior," right?

That's so realistic.

Lou Le thought for a moment, then said to Amos, "This spell is nothing to me. But it is an invaluable treasure to you."

"So there's absolutely no way I'd give it to you for free."

"What do you have on you? Tell me. Perhaps there's something that catches my eye."

The little witch was arrogant and haughty.

Amos quickly replied, "I possess four types of necromancy: Summon Skeleton, Skeleton Shaping, Corpse Decomposition, and Corpse Reconstruction."

"The spell 'Disintegrate Corpse' can break a corpse down into three parts: skin, bones, and flesh."

"Corpse reconstruction allows flesh of varying degrees of decay to grow on the bones. This is a prerequisite for learning more advanced necromancy."

Lou Le sounded somewhat uninterested: "It's somewhat useful, but not much of it."

"What about the others?"

"Anything else?"

Amos thought carefully for a moment, then shook his head and said, "The only other thing I have is this staff in my hand. A staff can enhance a mage's spells, but I'm sure you don't need my staff at all."

"All that's left is my necromancy research manual, which records some of my experiments and observations on necromancy."

"I don't know, what do you want, senior?"

"Hmm." Lou Le thought carefully for a moment, "Then you'll owe me an important favor. In exchange, you'll receive the necromancy research manual, as well as the spells 'Disintegrate Corpse' and 'Corpse Reconstruction'."

"Are you willing?"

"Senior, of course I'm willing," Amos said. "The limited growth potential of low-level skeletons is a sore point for necromancers. Mages who learn necromancy are simply incomparable to other mages."

"However, necromancy is different from other spells. Necromancy causes the body to be contaminated by the aura of death, making it difficult to use other spells."

"If this problem can be solved, necromancers will probably be able to thrive."

Lou Le didn't care at all. She found a piece of parchment and used ink to draw intricate spell models on it.

Amos had already prepared everything, packing it into a small parcel.

"Here you are."

Lou Le tossed the finished parchment to Amos, and Limera took the package.

Amos stared at the complex, almost dizzying, spell model, his body trembling with excitement.

"Thank you, senior! When you need me, I am willing to repay your kindness with my life."

Lou Le waved his hand: "A spell model drawn on parchment is ultimately not as good as a spell model drawn in a spellbook. You can go to Ghostwood Town and maybe you can buy a spellbook there."

"Ghostwood Town?"

Amos said, "It seems there's something amiss in that area."

"Not peaceful?" Lou Le said; "Then I don't know."

She knew that the Elf Rope was attracting elves to the place, which she guessed was like a powder keg piled high with firewood.

Lou Le had no reason to go back, but she felt she should make the place even more chaotic.

This necromancer might be of some use.

After obtaining the spell model, Amos began reading it with great eagerness.

He was extremely familiar with the Summon Skeleton spell and could immediately tell that Lou Le's spell model was different from ordinary spell models.

He continued to study it and then extracted the relevant information.

"This spell not only gives skeleton soldiers the potential to grow, but it also locks the skeletons summoned by the spell. Once you summon a skeleton, you can enhance it with things like bones."

"And it can keep accumulating, but you can no longer summon other skeletons with this spell."

"When the soldiers you train die, everything you've trained will be reset to zero. But you can choose a new soldier's profession."

Lou Le told Amos the details of the spell, and Amos looked like he suddenly understood.

"Thank you so much, senior!"

Amos said sincerely, "With such reliable information, it will be much easier for me to break this spell."

Lou Le glanced at him and said, "This isn't free. As payment for telling you this information, you have to spread the word about me, this itinerant witch who can alchemize, among the necromancer community."

"I buy all sorts of herbs, ores, and valuable limbs from monsters. Of course, I also accept gold coins to buy my potions."

"Yes, senior. I will definitely do my best to complete this task."

Amos bowed to Lou Le before leaving.

He hunched over and slowly walked into the forest.

Lou Le yawned.

She felt that the current way of searching for herbs and customers was too outdated and slow.

Things have to change.

At the very least, you need to build your reputation so that customers will come to you on their own.

Back in the carriage, the little witch learned both spells and put them into her Witch's Spring.

It can only be used after it is distorted in the future.

"Tomorrow, tomorrow I'm going to the dungeon."

Lou Le muttered to herself, feeling genuinely uneasy.

After all, this is a dungeon with a thousand magic points! And it's in a forest environment, which greatly increases the danger.

Moreover, after obtaining knowledge from the witch's world.

I can finally increase my magic power.

Lou Le was filled with anticipation.
