The Witch's Wandering Alchemist's Diary

Chapter 9, 1. The stick hits below.

"Thank goodness, thank goodness, I didn't add too much water."

She muttered to herself, shook her hands, and wiped them on her black cloak to prevent her sweaty hands from dripping in and causing the alchemy to fail.

Next are [old shoe heels], [rotten mushrooms], [copper ore], and [broken wood core].

"Items like old shoe heels can't be ground, so the movement paths that can be used to make medicine bottles are all fixed. But ores and plants, these traditional alchemical items, can be ground to release their medicinal properties."

"The movement path of the 'Rotting Poisonous Mushroom' is a flat S-shaped curve. By grinding it, you can determine how much of the movement path you will use. However, once it is put into the pot, it cannot be changed."

"The properties of minerals are different from those of plants. Although both minerals release their medicinal properties and determine the path of the medicine through grinding, they do not move the medicine bottle by stirring."

"Instead, it makes the medicine bottle spin, and jumps to the end of the route by spinning."

"The paths of plants are continuous short horizontal lines, while the paths of minerals are continuous small dots."

After filling it with everything, Lou Le finally managed to light the star representing the healing potion.

The vial disappeared into the star, and the entire star emitted a faint glow.

"But it seems like there are words twinkling on the stars."

Lou Le stared intently at the words "witch" in the book.

"[Weak healing potions] can be transformed into strong healing potions through concentration techniques."

After reciting it once, Lou Le decided to forget about it.

"I don't know any concentration techniques. Do you mean to keep boiling it until the water in the pot evaporates? But the water in the pot is enough for at least ten weak healing potions. Why would I need one strong healing potion?"

"Even if it's concentrated, it won't sell."

Muttering to herself, she had a sudden thought and immediately began to increase the intensity of the flames.

The medicine in the pot was bubbling continuously, and the sound was getting louder and louder.

"boom"

A small explosion came from inside the pot, but instead of black smoke, a small mushroom cloud shot out.

"Hmm, is this really a healing potion?"

Lou Le looked at the mushroom cloud and thought the potion was pretty good.

Looking into the pot, I found that only 20-30% of the medicine remained.

"what?"

Lou Le was stunned: "Wait, where are my potions? Where are all my potions?"

Left with no other choice, I took out the glass bottles from my bag and poured the medicine into them; there were about three bottles in total.

Lou Le used the cork that came with the bottle to stop the flow, and held it in his hand, looking at it.

The bottle was likely reused after other medicines were finished.

"But this is glass." Lou Le shook the pink potion. "In a poor era like the Middle Ages, there's actually this kind of transparent, colorless glass? But with a mage around, it shouldn't be too surprising."

I wonder if the price is expensive.

"If it's too expensive, I can't afford it."

Muttering to herself, she examined the healing potion in her hand with the Eye of Scrooge.

[Weak therapeutic agents]

It is an alchemical potion.

It can treat minor injuries.

It was created by the witch Loule using crude methods.

"Hmm, very good, it works."

The last point that Lou Le automatically ignored: What does "crude" mean?

If it can be used and can treat, isn't that a good medicine?

After extinguishing the flames, he dug a hole and buried the earthenware pot. Now that he had his first pot of gold, the pot could be retired.

You need to buy a good crucible yourself!

I found a big tree in the woods, climbed up it, and lay down in the middle of the branches to prepare to sleep.

However, climbing the tree made my legs ache terribly.

After closing his eyes, Lou Le drifted off to sleep.

I'm so tired today!

When she woke up the next day, it was already morning. The sun was so bright that she could barely open her eyes. She climbed down from the tree and went to the river to wash her face.

It took them a long detour through the woods to reach yesterday's wheat field.

She lit three flames with branches in the woods, and used the [Floating Fire] to maintain and control these three flames, making them float on either side of her shoulders and above her head.

He deliberately burned several holes in his cloak to prevent himself from being recognized by others.

The wooden shoes were also burned with a thin layer of charcoal.

She emerged from the woods and slowly walked towards the main gate of Ghostwood Town.

There were many adventurers along the way, but when they saw Lou Le walking, their expressions changed drastically. They stood respectfully to the side of the road and let Lou Le pass first.

There was also a rather wealthy-looking adventurer party; they even had a horse!

Even the leader had a longsword with a cross on his body.

Lou Le glanced at them.

How wealthy!

Longswords are prone to damage in combat when they collide with the crudely made blunt weapons of monsters, and repairing them is both troublesome and expensive.

Even when not in use, you need to wipe it with maintenance oil frequently.

Nowadays, most farmers don't eat much oil or fat throughout the year!

That curious glance immediately sent the adventurers into a panic, and they dragged the poor horse to stand in the wheat field.

The captain finally breathed a sigh of relief after Lou Le passed by them.

He glanced at the horse that kept neighing and his heart ached.

"Oh, my Matt." He kept stroking the horse's neck, even more gently than he would treat his wife.

His teammates were used to their captain's demeanor; after all, the horse was really expensive! More expensive than a slave!

"Captain, do you know that old mage?"

"If I knew that old mage, would I be stuck here here, toiling away as an adventurer for you guys?" the captain said irritably. "If only I knew that old mage!"

"Then how do you know that the other party is a master, and not a gentleman, or an adult, but a master?" his teammate asked.

The captain smugly hummed, "That's what you call insight, you know? Only mages can maintain that kind of extraordinary power for such a long time."

His team members kept flattering him.

The farmer, who had just stood up from the wheat field, yelled at the adventurers, "Get out of my land! You're trampling my wheat!"

Then came a string of angry curses.

The adventurers, their faces flushed with anger, immediately retorted, "Get the hell out of here! If you weren't Sir Castor's farmer, I would have already chopped you down!"

The farmer launched into another barrage of vulgar attacks: "I dare to insult you only because I am Sir Castor's farmer. I hope you get smashed to pieces by a kobold's club today, your balls crushed like my wheat."
