Because of his injured hand, Kyosuke said goodbye in advance and took a car to another city's airport to catch a flight.

Huang'er nodded. Although she hadn't participated in the battle, she had seen Wu's current state and knew how important combat power was to her.

"Then, following the usual procedure, let's find trainers who have Grass-type and Bug-type Pokémon! Since this is Celadon City, there should be many Pokémon of those two types, right?"

The next two weeks were a nightmare for trainers in Celadon City.

In Celadon City, most trainers prefer Grass-type Pokémon, and Kyosuke is no exception.

Every day, Kyosuke starts from the north of the city and challenges everyone who owns a Pokémon.

Why not ask Ash? Every time Kyosuke calls, Professor Oak gives a brief greeting and then explains Ash's situation. There's no need to ask at all.

Kyosuke had considered handing Nidoran over to the professor, but he was reluctant to do so. Besides, it was simply a failure on his part as a trainer. Every time he chatted with the professor, Kyosuke would summon Nidoran to join them, but Nidoran didn't seem to care much about it anymore.

Every day was filled with training, grinding experience points, watching anime, and browsing forums. The days seemed to fly by, even though they were ordinary. Two weeks passed in the blink of an eye, and finally, it was time for Wu to be discharged from the hospital.

Nurse Joy solemnly handed the Poké Ball containing Butterfree to Kyosuke, instructing him, "In the future, don't let Pokémon suffer injuries that might be irreparable."

Kyosuke nodded, secretly vowing in his heart that he would never do it.

With a Poké Ball in hand and a backpack on his back, Kyosuke heads to the Celadon Gym, and his journey begins anew.

Miss Joey watched Sirius's departing figure and sighed inwardly at the loss of the prize money.

She already knew that Kyosuke was the one who challenged the entire city, and her words to him were merely a way of teasing him. Working in Rainbow City, where fighting is extremely rare, it's difficult to improve performance. Kyosuke's two weeks here are equivalent to half a year's worth of sales.

Composing himself, Nurse Joy got back to work. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Gym Leader's Pokémon would be arriving soon.
