"Boom—! Thud!!"

Three third-tier spells collided head-on.

The multicolored energy particles seemed to have gone mad, transforming into scattered lightning bolts and barbed fire whips that lashed wildly at Dago's body.

A series of dense, teeth-grinding crackling sounds filled the air, like the sound of countless magic wands snapping simultaneously.

As the smoke and dust cleared, Dago emerged, stepping on the torrent of energy.

His long, dark blue hair, interwoven with other colors, flew high behind him like a tattered battle flag.

Although the "scale armor" on his body, made of activated ice crystals and the power of despair, was blown to smithereens, revealing the monstrous and grotesque body beneath, not a single white mark was left on his skin.

"Whoosh!"

A sound similar to the explosion of Apparition came from the air.

Dago's figure vanished abruptly, followed by a muffled "bang," the death knell of flesh colliding with absolute power.

Another third-circle wizard from the Resurrection Society exploded like a pumpkin stuffed with fireworks.

However, these guys who practice dark magic always come up with endless ways to save their lives.

The moment the wizard's body exploded, there was no blood and flesh flying everywhere. Instead, it transformed into countless blood-red bats, screaming and scattering in all directions.

Dago smirked and casually swung his arm out.

The joined hands seemed to transform into a blade cursed by dark magic, cutting through the air and creating a massive, crescent-shaped, jet-black blade of air.

The air blade whistled past, shredding a large swarm of blood-red bats in one breath.

Limbs and broken wings fell like red raindrops.

The remaining bats scrambled together at the other end of the space, like a writhing mass of flesh, before transforming back into a thin human figure.

The wizard staggered, his face as pale as if he had just been released from Azkaban. Before he could even stand still, a figure descended like lightning and shattered his protective spell!

"Bang—"

That punch landed squarely.

This time, no more swarms of bats were born. Only a few defective ones tried to flutter around, but were mercilessly crushed one by one by Dago.

As the last one was crushed, a jet-black ring covered in runes fell from the bat's belly.

Dago gently pinched the ring, casually put it in his pocket, and then turned around.

His distorted eyes calmly swept over the remaining people.

The intense, rapid-fire chanting of spells and the suffocating fluctuations of mental energy that had been filling the arena had almost completely ceased at some point.

The entire space was deathly silent, with only the faint hissing sound of the lingering magical aftershocks in the distance.

What appeared before Dago were faces filled with shock, horror, and disbelief.

Beneath the long black robes that concealed their figures, someone's hand holding a staff was trembling slightly, uncontrollably.

A harsh, dry sound rose low, as if drifting from a grave:

"Salanchi! This guy... this guy can even withstand third-tier spells! Even a giant hybrid wouldn't be this tough!"

"Bruk is dead... utterly dead. I have lost all connection to his soul, as if it had been consumed by Fiendfire."

"What kind of ancient bloodline is this, or some kind of forbidden alchemical body modification? I don't understand... This doesn't conform to the laws of the wizarding world!"

Fear was spreading among the group of black-robed wizards.

"ah--!!!"

Suddenly, someone let out a furious roar.

It was Viser; he had clearly been driven mad by fear, or rather, his morbid obsession had completely robbed him of his reason.

He swung his limbs wildly like a madman, his wand tip spewing chaotic green light as he charged toward Dago recklessly.

"Why are you stopping? You bunch of cowards! Are you scared?"

Viser roared, his voice filled with madness:

"He's just a second-tier player! A lowly second-tier player! He still has the coordinates we need! That's what our master specifically requested!"

"You bunch of incompetent and useless good-for-nothings!"

"Whoosh—"

The only answer he received was the sound of air being torn apart.

Dago's figure disappeared again.

When he reappeared, he was already standing silently behind the crazed figure, like a ghost.

Viser's swaying body suddenly stopped, as if he had been petrified.

A complex expression slowly emerged on his distorted face, a mixture of hatred, pain, resentment, and bitterness.

He slowly lowered his head.

After seeing the huge, gaping hole in his chest that stretched from front to back and even revealed the view behind him, Viser felt as if all the moisture had evaporated from his body.

He didn't bleed; instead, he withered, crumbled, and died like a dead vine whose life force had been drained by dark magic.

The scene possesses a strange and eerie beauty.

"Buzz—"

A golden light suddenly flew out from her corpse, which was about to turn to ashes.

A gray mist enveloped the ball of light, through which Viser's face could be faintly discerned, its expression shifting constantly within the mist—anger, pleading, cursing.

At the same time, an incredibly strong vitality, completely out of place in this scene of death, emanated from the ball of light.

"The Tree of Life?"

Dago's eyes flickered slightly; this was a good thing, top-grade alchemy material.

He moved swiftly, reaching out to grab the ball of light.

However, just as his fingertips were about to touch the ball of light, a dark green spell suddenly flew in from some dark corner.

Dago frowned, then casually waved his hand, shattering the spell like swatting a fly.

Even so, his movement was still slightly hindered.

Because of this delay, he could only watch helplessly as the golden ball of light, carried by the remnants of Viser's soul, forcibly tore open a hole in the space, quickly entered, and disappeared.

"Damn it?!"

Dago abruptly turned his head, his gaze like two icy rays, looking in the direction from which the spell had come.

There, a figure draped in black robes was intimidated by the coldness in his gaze, and instinctively took several steps back, his hood almost slipping off.

Even with the large black robe covering him, one could clearly feel his tension and panic, like a mouse being targeted by a basilisk.

"We can't stay trapped here forever!"

Dago did not pursue the attacker; he was well aware of the current situation.

This is the "Empty Mirror Cube" of the Revival Society, a mirror maze that seems to extend infinitely. If we don't get out of here soon, we'll be in big trouble when that so-called "Dark Head" arrives.

His eyes flickered slightly as he stared at the spot where Viser's soul had just escaped, where a trace of spatial fluctuations still lingered.

Without any hesitation, Dago took out a dagger with an antique design and a blade as smooth as a mirror – the Mirror Dagger.

He gripped the dagger in his hand and, without any mercy, stabbed it lightly into his own thigh.

Fresh blood flowed out, but was greedily absorbed by the mirror dagger.

"Whoosh—"

The next second, Dago's figure seemed to be swallowed by the mirror, disappearing into thin air from the arena space.

This does not count as repeating previous useless attempts.

Now, a large portion of the Third Ring Wizards of the Revival Society have gathered here. In order to surround and kill him, they have no choice but to concentrate their power, which is scattered in various independent mirror spaces.

Moreover, he had just killed one and severely injured Viser.

As one force weakens while another grows stronger, the restrictive power belonging to the Revival Society within each independent space is currently at its weakest.

This was actually his best chance to escape, but the opportunity was fleeting.

If we're lucky, we might be able to catch up with him by following the trail left by Viser's fleeing soul.

As Dargo disappeared, the three-ring wizards of the Revival Society on the fighting arena looked at each other, at a loss for what to do.

"Saranchi!"

Someone whispered a name, their voice filled with an urgent search for a leader.

"Should we continue pursuing it?"

The one speaking was the same black-robed wizard from the Resurrection Society who had previously dismantled Viserdale.

He looked at the empty arena, shook his head, clearly lacking confidence in hunting down such a monster.

"Navisel..." someone asked hesitantly.

"Who cares if he lives or dies! That madman is more of a hindrance than a help!"

A black-robed wizard named Salanchi slowly stepped forward. His eyes were icy, like two frozen venomous snakes, as he coldly glanced at the third-ring wizard who had previously shielded Laura from Dago.

"You shouldn't have stopped him! If he had died sooner, maybe none of this would have happened."

The reprimanded wizard lowered his head, not daring to argue back.

Salanchi withdrew his gaze, looking at the spot where Dago had disappeared, his eyes flashing with a calculating light:

"The strength of this 'coordinate' is far greater than we anticipated. It's practically an ancient behemoth disguised in human skin."

"Even if we manage to take him down by force, the price we pay will likely be extremely high. We might even be completely wiped out."

"I think no one wants to see that outcome... After all, we joined the Revival Society for immortality and power, not to die."

Everyone fell silent, clearly agreeing with this statement.

"Report this to the underworld."

Salanchi took a deep breath, his tone becoming somber and respectful:

"Let the Dark Chief deal with him personally. This level of prey is beyond our capabilities."

"But... he seems to have a way to escape the 'Empty Mirror Cube's' confinement," someone nearby said worriedly. "If he's determined to escape, he might not be able to wait for the Dark Leader to arrive."

Salanchi let out a cold laugh, the sound echoing eerily in the empty mirrored space:

"Run? He can't escape."

"Doesn't he have a grudge against that madman, Viser?"

"Although Viser's physical body was destroyed, his soul remained, and he carried the 'Tree of Life.' That thing has a fatal attraction to any living being."

"Using Viser as bait, dangling him like gold coins in front of a Niffler, he'll have no choice but to eat it."

"If necessary... send Viser up there for him to kill."

Salanchi's voice was devoid of warmth, as cold as if he were discussing a broken Horcrux:

"What does sacrificing one Viser matter, as long as we can hold him off until the Dark Lord arrives?"

After listening, the group of black-robed wizards from the Revival Society slowly nodded.

In their value system, using any means necessary to achieve one's goals is perfectly normal.

Immediately afterwards, everyone began to calm down and straighten their robes.

They walked one after another to the mirrors standing beside them, took a step forward, and their figures disappeared into the void of the mirrors, vanishing one after another.

Only this devastated battlefield remains, still telling the story of the thrilling battle that just took place.
