Ancient Wizards: A Little Progress Every Day

Chapter 351 Clash of Blood and Flesh

"call--"

Dago exhaled a long breath.

He exhaled a hot, heavy breath, and the white air shot out more than three feet like a sharp arrow.

The breath created a gust of wind on the field, stirring up gravel and dust.

The phantom of the Despairing Winter Dragon behind him began to shrink at this moment, and its originally enormous dragon body collapsed rapidly.

That restraint doesn't disappear, but rather it's compressed to the extreme.

It seemed to have completely transformed into a solidified, unyielding shadow, clinging to Dago's back and merging with it.

"You haven't made me bleed yet."

A deep, hoarse voice came from Dago's mouth.

The sound no longer resembled that of a human vocal cord; it carried the low growl of a wild beast, echoing across the empty platform.

He raised his head.

His handsome face was now covered with fine blue veins, making him look ferocious and wild.

His eyes, now completely white and empty, swept over the three of them one by one.

At the very center of his pupils, a faint, dark light seemed to flash, like a gaze from the bottom of an abyss.

"Isn't it a bit too early to persuade them to surrender now?"

Done.

Dago spread his ten fingers, his nails becoming sharp and black, like dragon claws.

On the palms of both hands, a mysterious and inexplicable rune appeared. The runes were ancient and complex, as if they contained the secrets of the beginning of the world.

Thick black light flowed from the runes, climbing up the palm and engulfing the original skin color, leaving behind mysterious, pure black lines that intertwined with the bulging veins beneath the skin to form eerie totems.

A moment later, the black lines covered Dago's entire body.

The exposed parts of his body were covered with black runes, resembling a meticulously crafted magical artifact.

An indescribable, ancient, primitive, and wild aura emanated from Dago.

That was not the skillful spellcasting of a wizard, but the domineering power of an ancient demon god tearing the heavens and earth apart with his physical body.

He stood silently in mid-air, with no support beneath his feet, yet as steady as a mountain.

Physical Body Seal [Cold Element] + Blue Demon Body!

This is a powerful trump card that Dago has yet to use!

When magic-based methods become unusable, mental energy is depleted.

So.

Let the battle return to its original form!

Returning to the clash of blood and flesh, returning to the purest contest of strength!

At a certain moment, Dago suddenly raised his head.

Her long, dark blue and black hair suddenly billowed up behind her, like a black battle flag fluttering in the wind.

"Click—"

This sound was not thunder, but a mournful cry as space was forcibly shattered.

It was as if a bolt of pure black lightning suddenly struck through the void of the platform!

The speed was so fast that it surpassed visual perception and even mental perception.

The combined force field formed by the intertwined auras of Michael and the other two was pierced by this "lightning" in an instant!

The force field that was strong enough to withstand a full-force attack from a third-ring wizard was now as fragile as a sheet of paper, shattering instantly.

It is even more fleeting than a thousandth of a moment.

Before anyone could react, a figure suddenly appeared in front of Gale.

A mysterious, ferocious, majestic demonic body covered in black markings hovered above Gale's head.

It was like a huge and dense shadow that covered it; it was the shadow of death, the embodiment of despair.

The winged unicorn beneath him made restless noises. This creature with sacred blood instinctively felt fear, and its four hooves pounded frantically in the void.

Gale, holding a lance, was caught off guard.

Staring blankly, he saw a giant hand, interwoven with countless black rays, growing larger and larger before his eyes, obscuring the temple's radiance and the dark clouds in the sky.

On that palm, the black lines pulsed like breath.

It was as if an ancient, savage beast was close to his ear, emitting a low, hissing roar, carrying an aura of blood and violence.

"Let me see what happens when the body is destroyed."

"Your will,"

"Will it still be as indestructible as I see it?"

Every word was like a heavy hammer blow, striking Gale's heart hard.

"Boom!"

A tremendous roar echoed through the sky, accompanied by the cracking sound of bones shattering.

---------------

The sudden turn of events left the countless wizards watching from the sidelines momentarily stunned.

Their mouths were agape, their eyes wide with disbelief, their minds blank.

A second-circle wizard with a blank expression suddenly felt as if someone had patted his shoulder; the touch was cold and gentle.

Turning around suddenly, he found himself alone, with only the equally dazed backs of other wizards.

He shook his head, thinking it was his imagination, and turned back to continue watching the fierce battle in the arena.

Completely unaware, a mysterious black light was seeping into his body through the collar of his robe.

Similar situations continue to occur in various parts of the population.

It was as if a ghost was silently wandering through the arena, moving among every wizard whose soul was shaken.

While everyone's attention was drawn to Dago's outburst, he continued to sow seeds of evil, weaving an invisible web.

In the crowd, Lindis slowly put down the crystal ball in his hand, which was illuminated by sparkling light.

The points of light inside the crystal ball had connected to form a complex star map, emitting a faint yet dangerous glow.

He squinted at the distant battlefield on the platform, a playful smile curving his lips.

He murmured, a hint of admiration in his voice, but more so the greed of a hunter eyeing his prized prey: "An excellent test subject, with limitless potential. I can hardly contain my desire."

The figure belonging to the man in black robes appeared silently behind him.

His lips moved slightly, at a frequency that only Lindis could hear, as if he were reporting something.

Lindis listened quietly, his fingers rhythmically tapping the surface of the crystal ball.

When the man in black finished his report, the last ripple in the air subsided.

He pondered for a moment, a calculating glint flashing in his eyes.

Finally, he raised his hand, his slender fingers like a scepter proclaiming fate.

Pointing to the center of the battle, a lithe figure, unstoppable, was knocking a knight riding a unicorn off mid-air.

The figure was like a demon god descending to earth, bathed in the blood and terror of the enemy.

He casually remarked, "Let's wait until the moment he falls before we make our move."

His tone was casual, as if he were simply deciding on the menu for dinner.

"Yes," the man in black robes replied respectfully, his figure fading again until he disappeared completely.

Lindis gazed at the figure he had chosen, his eyes filled with a morbid obsession and coldness.

Gently stroking the crystal ball in my hand, I felt its smooth, cool touch.

He sighed softly to himself, his voice barely audible on the edge of the noisy battlefield:

"You keep surprising me, Dago."

"Unfortunately, this level of power is not enough to withstand the sharpness of the Emerald Arrow."

------------------

The mysterious runes that grew from the palm of his hand spread all over his body, completely transforming his physical form.

It felt as if an endless ancient sacred mountain was bestowing its blessing upon me, making me feel heavy, solid, and indestructible.

Dago could feel every cell in his body cheering and burning.

Within every vein surges and roars a terrifying power belonging purely to the flesh—a power capable of shattering mountains and severing rivers.

No spells or magic are needed, only primal brutality.

"Click—"

He threw a punch, and the air was compressed into a solid cannonball wherever the wind from the punch passed.

The void where the fist landed was like a smooth and fragile plate, which shattered with a crisp sound.
