Ancient Wizards: A Little Progress Every Day

Chapter 380 Tracy's Laughter and the Golden Law

Dago's physical body was severely damaged. If it weren't for the powerful physique he gained from practicing the "Elemental Resonance Technique," an ordinary wizard would have had to undergo extensive alchemical modifications to survive, even if he didn't abandon his physical body.

Even so, the power of the miracle-rank spell Boneflame had seeped into his body. Despite the desperate Winter Star phantom within him working hard to "remove" it, some residue remained.

As a result, his injuries are healing quite slowly, and now if he were to remove his robe and mask, he would be completely unrecognizable.

Apart from that, there was only a superficial easing of tensions with Tracy.

The two can now at least exchange a few simple words occasionally like ordinary friends, no longer filled with resentment and tension as before.

"Giggle~"

A girl's giggles came from somewhere below.

Dago slowly picked up the silver metal mask from the ground and put it back on, then looked in the direction from which the laughter came.

On the deck at the bow of the large magical ship, two girls were standing together chatting.

One of them was someone Dagger knew very well—it was Tracy, who had suddenly run down there at some point.

Standing next to Tracy was a girl with light green hair, about the same age as Tracy, and with a rather cute and charming appearance.

She seemed to be amused by Tracy's words, and the laughter Dargo heard came from her mouth.

Not far from the two, there was a cold-looking man with many black lines on his face, who looked like a guard or something similar to the green-haired girl.

As Dago's gaze fell upon the two, the cold-faced man with black markings immediately looked at Dago, his eyes filled with a cold scrutiny.

Dago glanced at it briefly and then looked away.

For the next two months, her activities would be confined to a single ship. Given Tracy's personality, it would be impossible for her not to find something to do to pass the time.

Let her be. Compared to worrying about Tracy, Dargo thinks we should be more concerned about the safety of those who come into contact with her.

Don't let Tracy's current harmless appearance fool you; before this, she was the infamous "Ash Witch" of the Central Wizarding World.

As for the green-haired girl opposite, she was just an ordinary first-ring wizard, while the cold-faced man with black markings beside her had reached the late second-ring level.

The ship currently sailing towards the east coast is also thanks to them; Dago and his crew can be considered to have benefited from their presence.

The town of Greg was destroyed by the fourth-circle Dawn Wizard of the Revival Society, so the agreement between Dago and the "Star-Covering Whale" Merchant Guild naturally no longer existed. He was lucky enough to catch this hitchhiking ship after staying in the port for two days.

Dago stood on the deck for a while, until the spellship had completely sailed into the ocean area and the dock where he had come from was no longer visible, before returning to his room.

After setting up the shielding and protective rune array, Dago removed his mask and robe, and as usual, first examined his physical condition.

His entire body is now covered in festering, festered burn wounds, a truly horrific sight.

But upon closer inspection, you'll find that some flesh is already growing under those wounds, and the internal organs are quite healthy. Apart from the pain caused by the worsening and healing of the wounds, it's actually not that serious anymore.

At this rate of healing, he might be fully recovered before the ship reaches the east coast.

Their physical strength will also become much greater at that time.

Dago took out healing powder and carefully changed the dressings on all his wounds. Then he summoned Titanium and let it continue to devour the "Crimson Lotus Staff".

Titanium was also severely depleted in Greg, with its total size reduced to the size of a human head. If Dago had previously felt somewhat guilty about feeding Titanium with Tracy's Crimson Cane, he now felt completely justified.

Dargo also let the metal goat Brontë III, which he hadn't seen for a long time, out for some fresh air. He put some unused metal scraps on the floor and then let it run around in the small room.

Having done all this, Dago officially began his ascetic practice for the day.

Besides his daily meditation practice, Dago is currently focusing on two main areas.

One is the metal-based magic inheritance of the [Golden Law].

After advancing to the third ring wizard, Dargo was able to learn almost all five spells of the Golden Law.

After studying it, he realized how profound and difficult this set of spells was. In theory, they were all formal-level spells, but to Dago, they felt even more mysterious than the Ghost Arrow spell he received from "Bone Bell" Mamfulin.

The five spells are mysteriously connected to each other, with the Golden Law at their core. Their ultimate goal seems to be to completely construct the true form of the spells belonging to the Golden Law.

This was the first time Dago had encountered such interesting magic, which could be cast independently or in complex combinations.

The process of learning and exploring new spells is itself full of fun, and Dago enjoys it immensely.

The second direction is the study of runes.

Dago now has six soul crystals, and a seventh is in the process of forming, but he has only condensed five soul seals.

Dago still has at least four more slots for Soul Seals.

For these four Soul Seal positions, Dago is now considering making the most suitable choice for himself, taking into account the various spatial and mirror-related skills he possesses, as well as the legacy of the Isidore Archon.

"The previous soul seals can also be further optimized and upgraded."

Whether it's [Space Silver Ice], [Winter Star], or [Multiple Prisms], from Dago's current perspective, there is still a lot of room for improvement and refinement.

The runic knowledge contained within the Isidore Archon's armlet is as vast as the starry sky; after this period of study, Dago has gained many new insights.

This led to a deeper understanding of the Dream Sphere, the "dynamic" spatial rune obtained in the Mysterious Garden, and so on.

In addition to the gains from the series of battles in the Wizards' draft, Dargo's mind is now constantly brimming with inspiration.

He needs a period of reflection to absorb and transform these inspirations and insights. In time, his overall strength will be transformed once again.
