Ancient Wizards: A Little Progress Every Day
Chapter 405 True Spirit Not Yet Formed, Mind Formed First
Before gaining the recognition of the Isidore lineage, Dago could not "see" the full picture of the [Arcane], which was naturally impossible, but now, there is a slight possibility of its realization.
However, to accomplish this, Dage faces two major challenges.
First, the [Arcane] rune is profound and difficult to understand, the most obscure thing Dago has ever seen in his life, even surpassing the mysterious spatial rune that he obtained in the Ancient Mirror Forest Garden Secret Realm, which was constantly breaking and reassembling.
To fully understand and comprehend it, and then to condense it, is undoubtedly a huge undertaking that requires a long period of accumulation, but it is not impossible.
What really made Dago frown was another issue—
His soul crystal could not withstand the inscription of the [Arcane] rune!
Dago made some attempts to inscribe the [Arcane] rune within a single soul crystal, which was no less than planting an entire garden of blooming flowers on a single grain of wheat!
Moreover, his soul crystal was too "fragile" to withstand the [Arcane] rune, which could amplify the power a hundredfold when activated!
The [Multiple Prisms] were already collapsing just trying to push [Desperate Winter Dragon's Devouring Bite] to [40%] or [50%], almost reaching the level of the Miracle Domain. One can only imagine the pressure required for a hundredfold increase.
It can only be said that Isidore's magical talent is unparalleled in the world!
"We can only hope that after the 'Gray Sun Meditation Method' evolves again, and our mental energy undergoes three purifications, it will be able to meet the requirements."
If all else fails, Dago can only hope that the "Grey Sun Meditation Method," which is above the Master level, can continue to bring about the purification effect of spiritual power, but that may have to wait until he advances to the Miracle level.
After reaching the fourth ring of the Wizarding Realm, the nine Soul Crystals merge into one, forming a "True Spirit Embryo." The strength of both mental and soul power is greatly enhanced, and the Soul Imprint can still be inscribed.
The inscription, completed before the fourth ring, on the soul crystal, increases the spirituality and quality of the "True Spirit Embryo," thereby elevating the rank of the "True Spirit" that subsequently develops.
The [Armor] rune is of extremely high quality. If it can be inscribed before the ring is completed, it will greatly enhance the potential of Dago's future true spirit.
This is something that concerns the very foundation of the true spirit, and Dago must strive to achieve it no matter what.
Michael and Tracy showed Dagger the vastness of the world. He came from humble beginnings, and if he wanted to compete with the top wizarding geniuses in the Middle Kingdom, or even enter the Middle Ring Continent, it would be impossible for him to succeed without doing his best in every step he takes now.
"Fate can only be in our own hands."
Dago's eyes were calm, but his will was stronger than ever before.
After fully inheriting the will left by Isidore in the Armlet of the Law, Dago's consciousness also underwent some changes.
He casually flicked a speck of titanium from his fingertip, and the titanium alloy fell to the floor, instantly transforming into a magnificent silver mirror as tall as a person.
Dago got up, slowly walked to the silver mirror, and looked at himself in the mirror.
Before leaving the attic where he had spent three years in arduous practice, he had looked in the mirror in the same spot.
Now, more than half a year has passed, and the person in the mirror seems to have changed again.
His appearance and figure have not changed much, but his temperament has become much more reserved and cold.
His eyes had deepened in color at some point, a deep blue now tinged with a hint of purple, like ice crystals floating in a frozen lake, profound yet sharp and unsettling.
Calm, assertive, and proud.
These are all things that Dargo saw in the person in the mirror and in his eyes.
"The cruelty and tyranny of Despair Winter Dragon, the innocence and romance of the Golden Kingdom, and the ambition and arrogance of the Archon."
As Dago looked at himself in the mirror, he realized that as he carried more of the legacy and will he had inherited, he gradually became different from his original self.
Every person, every spell, and every rune he came into contact with influenced him to some degree.
In the future, he may become a different person.
Dago gently stroked his cheek and whispered.
"I am who I am."
"My path, then, now, and in the future, will be dictated by no one."
This is probably the greatest gain Dago received after fully merging with the remaining soul of his predecessor, "Dago".
An unprecedented, incredibly clear, and incredibly firm self-awareness.
For a wizard, this is far more important than any powerful lineage.
The metallic silver mirror melted before Dago, transforming back into titanium to be stored in Dago's robes.
Dago has always believed that the greatest value of a magical item lies in its core runes.
He has now obtained the core rune of Isidore's Armlet of Protection, and the remaining armlets themselves are no longer something he cannot completely give up.
"The effect of the [Arcane] rune within a single armlet is already this outrageous; I wonder how absurd and terrifying it would be if the entire [Arcane] set were collected?"
"I wonder what the core runes are like in the other [Archive] artifact set pieces."
Dago thought to himself, of course, that all of this was too far away for him right now.
In contrast, Melville's Gold Eater's Golden Law is the only truly powerful legacy he can currently see and touch.
The battle against Zeflin, the genius wizard of the Astral School, has fully demonstrated the terror of the Golden Law's legacy.
The mere combination of the three spells, [Golden Touch], [Golden Body], and [Golden Head], summons the most basic [Golden Law] spell body, whose power is enough to overwhelm Zeflin's [Prime Minister of the Stars]!
Of course, this victory was also related to the fact that Dago's mental strength far exceeded that of his opponent.
But this is enough to prove the power of this magical tradition.
He hadn't even comprehended a corresponding transcendent domain, nor had he ignited the "Golden Flame" of the Golden Law.
"After the miracle, the Golden Law may be my greatest reliance."
As Dago was thinking, "Creak—"
I heard the sound of a door opening behind me.
He quietly turned around and saw Undine's figure slowly emerge from behind a small, shimmering door.
The two stared at each other in silence. Undine stood in front of the small door, looking at him with an indescribable, complex expression.
From Dago's perspective, Undine was rapidly shedding the "maternal" aura she always displayed when facing him, revealing a newfound sense of bewilderment, awkwardness, and shyness that he had never sensed in her before, typical of girls her age.
This feeling was wonderful; it made Undine seem like a completely different person in Dargo's eyes all of a sudden.
