In the beginning, when all the heavens were separated and chaos was still undefined, the ineffable created all things from nothingness, and the primordial ancestor was born in response.

They are born powerful, above all living beings.

But those who acquire wisdom later in life, those strong individuals with their own pride and desires, will never be content to be inferior to them.

The progenitor of the world, thus, came into being.

Later, several progenitors created a supreme battlefield spanning all the heavens and myriad realms, known as the Star River Battle Plate.

The ancestors of the acquired world joined forces to create this system. When ten holy-level acquired cultivators exist simultaneously in the heavens, the battle disk will be activated.

Within the battle arena, the loser will be transformed into higher-dimensional energy, half of which belongs to the person who killed them, and the other half is distributed among the others to ensure that the difference in strength is not too great.

When a final winner emerges in the battle, a new progenitor is born.

This is a killing field, but also a ladder to heaven paved by the ancestors for those who came after them.

The instinct to fight is etched into the very nature of living beings, and on the battlefield, the victors bask in glory, while the vanquished become firewood.

The ascension of an ancestor requires a massive amount of high-dimensional energy, which cannot be accumulated by one person in one lifetime.

The Star River Battle Disc uses slaughter as a catalyst, refining everything of the defeated into high-dimensional energy, which is then poured into the sole victor.

It sounds pretty good, like the ultimate battle royale, where the winner takes all.

But would our ancestors really be so kind?
