The Longevity Family: Starting from the Foundation Establishment Ancestor

Chapter 411 If you can't beat them, train at the Zhang family.

The black castle stood tall on the gray earth, reaching into the clouds and exuding a chilling aura. Countless extraterrestrial demons surrounded the castle, densely packed like ants, making one's scalp tingle.

Han Mu hid behind a huge rock in the distance, observing the situation of the castle. The castle gates were tightly closed, and extraterrestrial demons patrolled the city walls, making it heavily guarded.

"My lord, this castle is heavily fortified. It will be difficult to break through by force," Han Li's voice came through the communication talisman.

"I know, so we need to find a way to sneak in first," Han Mu said. He noticed that some extraterrestrial demons were carrying supplies outside the castle, and they seemed to be slaves transporting food.

Han Mu's eyes lit up. He quietly crept up to the group of slaves, knocked out a slave of similar build, changed into the slave's clothes, and then blended into the slave ranks.

The slave caravan passed through the city gate smoothly and entered the castle. The castle was even larger inside than it appeared from the outside, with black buildings everywhere. Various extraterrestrial demons of different forms walked on the streets, some tall and mighty, some short and wretched, and some strangely shaped creatures that Han Mu could not name.

Han Mu followed the slave caravan to a warehouse. The slaves piled up the supplies they had carried and then dispersed. Han Mu took the opportunity to slip out of the warehouse and explore the castle.

The castle was huge. Han Mu wandered around for a long time but couldn't find the core area. He grabbed a lone extraterrestrial demon and forced him to reveal the castle's layout. Then he made his way towards the central tower of the castle.

That tower is the tallest building in the castle, and it is said to be the residence of the leader of the extraterrestrial demons. That is Han Mu's target.

When Han Mu arrived at the foot of the tower, he found the tower gate tightly closed. There were two powerful extraterrestrial demon guards at the entrance, both of whom were at the late stage of the Chaos Lord level.

"If we force our way in, we'll alert the others. We need to find a way to distract the guards," Han Mu frowned.

"My lord, let's use a diversionary tactic," Han Li suggested.

Han Mu nodded, picked up a stone, and threw it into the distance. The stone landed with a sound, and the two guards turned to look in the direction from which the sound came, but did not leave their posts.

"No, they won't fall for it," Han Mu shook his head.

"Then we'll have to force our way in, my lord. You have a spacetime compass that can freeze them for three breaths, which is enough time for you to break in," Han Li said.

"Alright." Han Mu took a deep breath and activated the spacetime compass. Time around him suddenly stopped, and the two guards were frozen in place.

Han Mu rushed to the tower gate at top speed, pushed it open, slipped inside, and then closed the gate, just as the time-stopping effect disappeared.

Han Mu leaned against the tower door, breathed a sigh of relief, and looked up into the tower. Inside was a huge hall, and in the center of the hall was a black throne. Sitting on the throne was a man dressed in black robes, his head lowered, so his face could not be seen.

"You've finally arrived. I've been waiting for you for a long time." The man in black robes raised his head, revealing a handsome but pale face with a strange smile on his lips.

Han Mu's heart skipped a beat. The aura of this black-robed man was unfathomable, far surpassing the peak of the Chaos Lord, and even stronger than the Tongtian Elder.

"Who are you?" Han Mu asked warily.

"Who am I? You can call me the Heavenly Demon Lord, the master of this world." The man in black robes stood up and slowly walked down from the throne. With each step he took, the entire tower trembled.

"You are the leader of the extraterrestrial demons," Han Mu said coldly.

"That's right, I am indeed the leader of the extraterrestrial demons, but I prefer to call myself the World Devourer," the Demon Lord laughed. "Your Chaos Sea is the next world I will devour."

"You're dreaming," Han Mu said angrily.

"Dream on, ha! You think you can stop me by killing the Lord of Chaos? You're too naive. The Lord of Chaos is nothing but a dog I keep. He can only live if I let him live, and he can only die if I want him to die," said the Heavenly Demon Lord.

Han Mu was shocked. The Lord of Chaos was just a dog kept by the Heavenly Demon Lord. How strong must the Heavenly Demon Lord be?

"However, I am somewhat surprised that you were able to come here. It seems that you are stronger than that dog, the Lord of Chaos." The Heavenly Demon Lord looked Han Mu up and down, a hint of interest flashing in his eyes.

"I'll give you a chance. Submit to me, and I can make you the new Lord of Chaos, managing the Chaos Sea for me," said the Heavenly Demon Lord.

"Dream on." Han Mu refused without hesitation.

"That's a pity. Such a good seedling, yet he can't be used by me." The Heavenly Demon Lord shook his head, raised his hand and pointed, a black beam of light shot towards Han Mu.

Han Mu was prepared and activated the spacetime compass, slowing down the flow of time around him. He narrowly avoided the black beam of light, but the beam still grazed past him and injured him, leaving a finger-thick blood hole on his left shoulder.

"So strong." Cold sweat broke out on Han Mu's forehead. The Heavenly Demon Lord's strength far exceeded his expectations. He was no match for him at all.

"The Time-Space Compass, a fine treasure, but unfortunately you can't unleash its true power." The Heavenly Demon Lord raised his hand again, this time extending all five fingers, and five black beams shot towards Han Mu, blocking all his escape routes.

Han Mu's face turned deathly pale. He knew he couldn't escape, but he couldn't die here. He had to go back to protect the Chaos Sea and his family.

"My lord, run! You are no match for him!" Han Li shouted anxiously.

Han Mu gritted his teeth. He knew Han Li was right. He was indeed no match for the Heavenly Demon Lord. Continuing to fight would only lead to his death.

Han Mu activated the spacetime compass, accelerating the flow of time in the surrounding area to its maximum, then turned and ran, rushing out of the tower.

"Trying to run? Not so easy." The Heavenly Demon Lord reached out and grabbed, and a huge black hand descended from the sky, reaching for Han Mu.

Without turning his head, Han Mu activated the spacetime compass with all his might. Under the accelerated time, his speed reached its limit, and he narrowly avoided the black palm and rushed out of the tower.

"Chase after him!" the Heavenly Demon Lord said coldly. Countless extraterrestrial demons surged in from all directions to hunt down Han Mu.

Han Mu dashed through the castle, using the time-space compass to evade his pursuers, and finally found a secluded corner to hide in.

"My lord, are you alright?" Han Li asked with concern.

"It's nothing, just a minor injury. But the Heavenly Demon Lord is too strong; I'm no match for him at all," Han Mu said with a wry smile.

"Then what should we do? We can't just give up," Han Li said.

"Of course we can't give up. If we can't beat him, we'll find a way to improve our strength. I refuse to believe that I can't beat him after breaking through to the Transcendent Realm," Han Mu said through gritted teeth.
