Han Mu put away the Void Devourer's Origin Crystal Core and looked around. This dark world began to collapse with the death of the Void Devourer. The earth cracked, the sky shattered, and the entire space was disintegrating.

Han Mu didn't linger. He flashed and flew back to the crack he had come from. Behind him came a rumbling sound. The dark world shattered like a broken mirror, piece by piece, and was swallowed by the void.

Han Mu passed through the rift and returned to the Chaos Sea. The rift slowly closed behind him and disappeared completely, isolating the collapse of the dark world on the other side.

"Finally back." Han Mu breathed a sigh of relief. Although the battle was dangerous, the gains were great. He not only broke through his cultivation level, but also obtained the Void Devourer's Origin Crystal Core, which is a very valuable item.

"What happened?" Han Mu roared. He had only been gone a short time, how could the Holy Domain have become like this?

"My lord, you've finally returned." Zhou Meng's voice came from the ruins. He was covered in blood, leaning on a broken sword, as he crawled out of the rubble, holding a swaddled baby in his arms. It was his newborn son, Zhou An.

"Zhou Meng, what happened? Who did it?" Han Mu helped Zhou Meng up and asked anxiously.

"It was Lei Di, he betrayed us," Zhou Meng said through gritted teeth, his eyes filled with anger and grief.

"Thunder Emperor, how could this be?" Han Mu was stunned. Thunder Emperor was one of his most trusted comrades-in-arms. How could he betray him?

"While our lord was away from the Chaos Sea, the Thunder Emperor, together with the Flame Emperor, the Ice Emperor, and the War Emperor, suddenly launched an attack on us. Luo Feng was captured by them while covering the retreat of his clansmen, and Han Li was also injured and his whereabouts are unknown," Zhou Meng said.

Han Mu clenched his fists, his nails digging into his palms, blood dripping from between his fingers. He never imagined that Lei Di and the other three would betray him. They had been through so much life and death together, how could things have come to this?

"Why? Why would they do this?" Han Mu asked.

"Because they want the Lord's spacetime compass and the secret of transcendence. The Thunder Emperor said that as long as he obtains the Lord's power, he can break through to the transcendence realm and become the new master of the Chaos Sea," Zhou Meng said.

Han Mu closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He realized that so-called friendship was so fragile in the face of power.

"Where did they go?" Han Mu opened his eyes, a cold killing intent flashing in them.

"They occupied the Chaos Temple, saying they would wait for the Lord to come there. They captured Luo Feng and Han Li, just to force the Lord to show himself," Zhou Meng said.

When Emperor Yan and Emperor Zhan saw the fate of Emperor Bing, they were terrified and tried to run away, but how could Han Mu let them escape? He activated the spacetime compass, and time around them suddenly stopped, freezing the two in place.

Han Mu walked up to the two men, struck each of them with a palm, and sent them on their way.

Finally, Han Mu walked up to Lei Di, who was lying on the ground, covered in blood and barely breathing. When he saw Han Mu approaching, his eyes were filled with fear.

"Alliance Leader Han, spare my life! I am willing to serve you like a slave to repay your kindness in sparing my life!" Lei Di pleaded.

"I gave you a chance, but you didn't take it." Han Mu raised his hand and slapped down.
