The Longevity Family: Starting from the Foundation Establishment Ancestor

Chapter 424 Level Up After Finishing the Dried Squid

Holding the Abyss Lord's Origin Crystal Core, Han Mu felt the immense power contained within, which was several times stronger than the Void Devourer's Crystal Core. If he could refine this crystal core, it would be enough to elevate his cultivation to another level.

"My lord, what do you plan to do with this crystal core?" Han Li asked, looking at the fist-sized black crystal core with curiosity in his eyes.

"Refine it to improve your cultivation," Han Mu said. The Lord of the Abyss is a peak immortal being, and the pure energy contained in its crystal core is a great tonic for Han Mu.

"How long will it take, my lord?" Han Li asked.

"I don't know, maybe a few months, maybe a few years," Han Mu said. Refining a crystal core at the peak of the Immortal realm is not an easy task; it requires time and patience.

Han Mu entered the secluded cultivation room and began refining the crystal core of the Lord of the Abyss. The energy within the crystal core was extremely violent, and the slightest carelessness could result in a backlash. Han Mu carefully guided the energy from the crystal core out and integrated it into his own origin.

The process was extremely painful. The Abyss Lord's energy was filled with a violent and destructive aura, which was incompatible with Han Mu's power of law. Each fusion felt like scraping bone with a knife. Han Mu gritted his teeth and persevered, his clothes soaked with sweat.

A month later, Han Mu successfully refined one-third of the crystal core, breaking through from the early stage of Immortal to the middle stage of Immortal, and his strength increased significantly.

"The effect is good, continue." Han Mu's spirits lifted, and he continued refining.

Three months later, Han Mu refined two-thirds of the crystal core, and his cultivation level broke through from the mid-stage of Immortal to the late-stage of Immortal, just one step away from the peak of Immortal.

"Almost there, just one last step." Han Mu took a deep breath and began refining the last third of the crystal core.

This refining process was even more difficult than before. The remaining crystal core was the original core of the Lord of the Abyss, containing the purest and most violent energy. Han Mu almost suffered a backlash several times, but fortunately he managed to calm his mind in time and avoid failure.

Six months later, Han Mu finally refined the entire crystal core, breaking through from the late stage of Immortal to the peak of Immortal, reaching the same realm as Obsidian and White Eyebrow.

Han Mu opened his eyes, a sharp light flashing in them. He clenched his fist, feeling the surging power within him, several times stronger than before. Every move he made resonated with the heavens and earth.

"Immortal peak, finally reached." Han Mu nodded in satisfaction. With his current strength, if he were to encounter the Lord of the Abyss again, he could handle it alone without the help of the five immortals.

Han Mu stepped out of his secluded cultivation room. The sun was shining brightly outside. The Holy Domain had been rebuilt and was even more magnificent than before. His people were busy in the city, their faces beaming with smiles.

"My lord, you've emerged from seclusion." Zhou Meng saw Han Mu and quickly approached him. He sensed that Han Mu's aura was several times stronger than before his seclusion, and he was overjoyed. "My lord has broken through to the peak of the Immortal Realm."

"Well, we succeeded by sheer luck," Han Mu said with a smile.

"That's great! Our lord should now be the strongest in the Chaos Sea!" Zhou Meng exclaimed excitedly.

"I wouldn't dare say we're the strongest, but at least no one can threaten us anymore," Han Mu said. With his current strength, he could even put up a fight against Bai Mei.

"My lord, some things happened in the Chaos Sea while you were in seclusion." Han Li walked over, his expression somewhat solemn.

"What is it?" Han Mu asked.

"Several immortals from the Divine Realm want to seize the Chaos Sea. They say the Chaos Sea is ownerless, and whoever takes it will own it," Han Li said.

Han Mu frowned. He had long expected this day to come. Although the Chaos Sea was barren, it was still a complete world and a piece of fat meat for the immortals of the God Realm.

"How many of them came?" Han Mu asked.

"Three of them, all at the mid-stage of the Immortal realm," Han Li said.

"A mid-stage Immortal dares to try and steal my territory?" Han Mu sneered. With his current strength, a mid-stage Immortal was nothing more than easy prey in front of him.

"Where are they?" Han Mu asked.

"They've established a base on the edge of the Chaos Sea, saying they'll wait for the Lord to emerge from seclusion before negotiating with him," Han Li said.

"Negotiation? What's there to talk about? Let's just fight," Han Mu said. He never liked wasting words; if a problem could be solved with fists, he would never waste breath.

When Han Mu arrived at the edge of the Chaos Sea, he indeed saw a newly built black palace. Outside the palace stood three immortals dressed in black robes, drinking and chatting. When they saw Han Mu arrive, the three of them stood up.

"You are the guardian of the Chaos Sea," the leading immortal asked, his tone arrogant.

"That's right, I heard you want to invade the Chaos Sea," Han Mu said calmly.

"The Chaos Sea is ownerless; whoever has the strength can possess it. The three of us have our eyes on this place. If you know what's good for you, leave obediently, and we might spare your life," said the leading immortal.

"Spare my life, with just the three of you at the mid-stage of Immortal Realm." Han Mu laughed, his smile laced with sarcasm.

"What do you mean?" The leader of the immortals' faces darkened.

"What I mean is, you guys are too weak." After saying that, Han Mu immediately attacked, throwing a punch at the leader of the immortals.

The fist imprint contained the power of the peak of immortality. Wherever it passed, space collapsed and laws crumbled. The leading immortal's expression changed drastically. He did not expect Han Mu to be so strong. He hurriedly raised his hand to block.

But Han Mu's strength far exceeded his expectations. His fist imprint shattered his defenses, sending him flying and crashing into the palace behind him, spitting out a mouthful of golden blood.

The other two immortals' expressions changed drastically when they saw their companion being blasted away by a single punch. They simultaneously attacked, unleashing two streams of law power towards Han Mu.

Han Mu neither dodged nor evaded. He raised his hand and waved it, and a golden light screen appeared in front of him, blocking all the attacks from the two men. Then, he slapped them away with his palm.

"With this little strength, you dare to try and take my territory?" Han Mu said coldly, walking up to the three of them and looking down at them.

"Senior, spare us! We were blind to your greatness! Please forgive us!" The three immortals knelt down and begged for mercy. They finally realized that the seemingly young man in front of them was far stronger than they had imagined.

"Get out of here. Don't let me see you again, or I'll kill you without mercy," Han Mu said coldly.

The three immortals, as if granted a pardon, fled in a panic.

Han Mu watched the three figures disappear and shook his head. Although there were many immortals in the Divine Realm, most of them were bullies who preyed on the weak and feared the strong. As long as he showed enough strength, they would obediently retreat.
