The Heavenly Demon Emperor crawled out from the star fragments, wiped the black blood from the corner of his mouth, and looked at Han Mu with shock and resentment in his eyes. He never expected that in just a few hundred years, Han Mu would break through from the peak of the Primordial Chaos to the Great Dao Realm.

"The Great Dao Realm? How could you possibly break through to the Great Dao Realm?" the Heavenly Demon Emperor roared.

"Nothing is impossible. Today is your death day," Han Mu said coldly. He charged forward again and punched the Heavenly Demon Emperor in the face.

The Heavenly Demon Emperor gritted its teeth. It knew it was no match for Han Mu, but it did not back down. It knew that retreating would also lead to its death, so it might as well fight to the death.

The Heavenly Demon Emperor opened its blood-red maw, and a terrifying black beam of light shot out from its mouth, hurtling towards Han Mu. Wherever the black beam of light passed, space collapsed and laws crumbled, its power astonishing.

Han Mu neither dodged nor evaded, but punched the black pillar of light. The power of the Great Dao erupted, directly shattering the black pillar of light. Then, with the remaining momentum, he punched the Heavenly Demon Emperor in the chest.

A hole the size of a bowl was blasted into the chest of the Heavenly Demon Emperor, and black blood spurted out. It let out a shrill scream and its body fell from the sky, crashing into a barren planet and creating a huge crater.

"My lord is mighty!" Luo Feng shouted excitedly as he watched the battle from afar and saw Han Mu displaying his divine power.

"Shut up and watch carefully," Zhou Meng said, slapping Luo Feng on the shoulder.

Han Mu landed in front of the Heavenly Demon Emperor, looking down at it, and said coldly, "Heavenly Demon Emperor, do you have any last words?"

"Han Mu, don't be so smug. My master will not let you get away with this," the Heavenly Demon Emperor said through gritted teeth.

"Where is your master? Tell it to come out, I'll deal with it too," Han Mu said coldly.

"My master is the Lord of the Void, the oldest being in the void, whose strength far exceeds your imagination. He will descend soon, and then you and your cosmic sea will be reduced to ashes," the Heavenly Demon Emperor sneered.

"Then I'll kill you before it arrives," Han Mu said coldly, raising his hand and striking the Heavenly Demon Emperor's crown.

"No!" The Heavenly Demon Emperor let out a desperate scream, then its voice abruptly stopped. Its body turned into specks of black light and dissipated into the air, completely annihilated.

Even after killing the Heavenly Demon Emperor, Han Mu did not let his guard down, because he knew that the Void Lord mentioned by the Heavenly Demon Emperor was the real threat.

"My lord, is the Void Lord that the Demon Emperor mentioned true?" Zhou Meng walked over and asked with a solemn expression.

"It should be true. There must be an even more powerful being behind the extraterrestrial demons," Han Mu said.

"What should we do? Can we win?" Luo Feng asked worriedly.

"Even if we can't win, we have to fight. We can't just sit here and wait to die," Han Mu said. He decided to return to the Temple of Creation first and prepare for battle.

After returning to the Temple of Creation, Han Mu told Fairy Hongmeng about the Lord of the Void. Fairy Hongmeng's expression also became solemn after hearing this.

"Lord of the Void, my father mentioned this name before he passed away. It is said to be the oldest being in the void, with unfathomable strength. Even my father was no match for it," said Fairy Hongmeng.

"Even the Primordial Dao Ancestor is no match for it." Han Mu's expression changed. He knew that he was probably in real trouble this time.

"My lord, what should we do?" Fairy Hongmeng asked.

"Make preparations first, and we'll deal with whatever comes our way," Han Mu said. He began to set up layers of restrictions at the edge of the cosmic sea, while instructing Zhou Meng and the other two to strengthen their vigilance.

Days passed, and the surface of the cosmic sea remained calm, but everyone knew that this was only the calm before the storm, and the Lord of the Void could descend at any moment.

On this day, Han Mu was cultivating when he suddenly sensed a terrifying aura coming from overseas, more than a hundred times stronger than that of the Heavenly Demon Emperor. He opened his eyes, his expression becoming extremely solemn.

"They've arrived," Han Mu said in a deep voice. He stood up and walked out of the Temple of Creation.

In the outer reaches of the universe, a massive black rift was slowly opening, from which endless chaotic energy surged forth, and a colossal figure emerged from the rift.

It was a giant millions of feet tall, covered in black scales, with nine curved horns on its head and eighteen blood-red eyes that radiated a cruel light and exuded a suffocating pressure.

"Lord of the Void," Han Mu said in a deep voice.

"You are the ant who killed the Heavenly Demon Emperor." The Lord of the Void looked down at Han Mu, his voice like rolling thunder, shaking the entire universe.

"That's right, it's me." Han Mu said coldly. He knew that today's battle was probably the most difficult battle he had ever fought.

"Very well, then you can die." The Lord of the Void raised his hand and unleashed a black palm that blotted out the sky, striking towards Han Mu.

Han Mu's expression changed. He could feel that the power of this palm was far beyond his imagination. He dared not be careless and pushed the power of the Great Dao to the limit, punching the black palm.

Fist and palm collided, unleashing a terrifying shockwave that shattered the surrounding stars. Han Mu was blasted away, spitting out a mouthful of blood, his aura weakened.

The Lord of the Void remained motionless, as if his previous palm strike had been merely a casual gesture.

"At the early stage of the Great Dao, you dare to be presumptuous in front of me? You really don't know what's good for you." The Lord of the Void said disdainfully, raising his hand again and striking Han Mu with another palm.

Han Mu gritted his teeth. He knew he was no match for the Lord of the Void, but he could not back down. Behind him lay the Cosmic Sea, his family, and his friends. He had to protect them.

"My lord, we're here to help you." Zhou Meng and the other two rushed forward and stood beside Han Mu.

"What are you doing here? Get out of here, you're no match for it!" Han Mu said urgently.

"My lord, we will not leave. We will die together," Zhou Meng said firmly.

"Yes, we'll die together." Luo Feng and Han Li echoed.

Looking into the determined eyes of the three men, Han Mu felt a surge of warmth in his heart. He knew that with these brothers by his side, even death would be worthwhile.

"Alright, today the four of us brothers will have a go at this Lord of the Void." Han Mu laughed loudly, and the four of them attacked at the same time, rushing towards the Lord of the Void.

The Lord of the Void looked at the four people rushing towards him with a hint of disdain in his eyes. He raised his hand and waved it, and a terrifying force sent all four of them flying. They crashed heavily to the ground, spitting out blood.

"Like ants, yet you dare to compete with the sun and moon." The Lord of the Void said coldly. He raised his hand and a huge black hand descended from the sky, grabbing at the four people.

Han Mu gritted his teeth. He knew he couldn't escape it, but he was unwilling. He still had too many things to do. He wanted to watch Han Nian grow up and accompany Fairy Hongmeng for the rest of his life.

Just then, a golden light suddenly descended from the sky, shattering the black palm, and an old voice rang out in the void.

That's enough.

Han Mu looked up and saw an old man in a white robe standing in the void; it was none other than the Daoist Chaotuo.

"Transcendent Daoist, you're not dead yet." The Lord of the Void's expression changed drastically upon seeing the Transcendent Daoist.

"If you're not dead, how could I be?" the Transcendent Daoist laughed, looking at Han Mu. "Kid, you did well. Leave the rest to me."
