Projection of the Heavens: I prove my immortality through slaughter.

The spectacle of countless souls paying homage lasted for an unknown period of time. Within the Primordial Pure Land, the emptiness of its inception was no longer present. At the bottom of the Yellow Springs, countless pure and shimmering spirits, cleansed and purified, had settled, like jewels beneath a riverbed, tranquil and serene. The entire hundred-mile-long Netherworld, due to the infusion and transformation of this massive number of souls, became increasingly profound and deep. The hazy sky and dark earth seemed to possess an indescribable depth.

Lin Xuan stood before the Underworld Palace, his eyes reflecting the ever-changing scenes of the universe's birth and death, mirroring the orderly flow of souls below. He was not immersed in the smooth operation of the Underworld; instead, he frowned slightly.

"The cleansing in the underworld, preserving the true spirit, is only the first step," he murmured to himself, his voice echoing in front of the empty underworld palace. "The true spirit is pure, but has no home. It stagnates for a long time. Although it gains peace, it loses the true meaning of the cycle of reincarnation, like stagnant water that only accumulates but never flows."

The essence of reincarnation lies in the word "return." Washing away the past is purification, but embracing new life completes the cycle. Currently, the underworld only has the functions of "receiving" and "purifying," but lacks the mechanisms of "distributing" and "delivering."

This is like building a huge warehouse that only takes in and never gives out; eventually, it will reach its limit and may even cause new problems. Moreover, all souls, regardless of their merits or demerits in life, race, or nature, will eventually turn into the same pure true spirit and settle down. This seems fair, but in reality, it is also a kind of crudeness.

Just as heaven and earth have yin and yang, purity and turbidity, so too do living beings have good and evil, wisdom and folly. The cycle of reincarnation cannot be generalized.

A grand vision gradually took shape in his mind—he needed to establish a more refined system of reincarnation channels that better reflected cause and effect and guided all beings!

As soon as this thought arose, the transcendent mark deep within his soul trembled slightly, emitting a clear radiance. It wasn't a direct assistance, but rather it allowed him to enter a perspective of extreme calmness, almost like the Dao of Heaven overlooking all living beings. At the same time, the primordial spirit within his dantian opened its eyes, the scenes of the universe's birth and death rapidly unfolding within them, countless streams of information about life forms, energy levels, and causal relationships flashing past.

He recalled the mythological systems he knew from his previous life, and the myriad realms and countless races he had encountered since traversing the ancient star-crossing path:

There is a divine race (corresponding to the Heavenly Dao) that is naturally powerful, resides in a higher dimension, and wields partial authority.

There are humans, who are born in the mortal world, have great potential, complex natures, and reproduce endlessly, as well as many similar races (corresponding to the human way).

A warlike race that enjoys killing, yet is not purely evil (corresponding to the Asura realm);

There are monsters and spirits that lack intelligence, follow their instincts, and live a muddled life (corresponding to the animal realm).

There are vengeful spirits and malevolent souls (corresponding to the hungry ghost realm) that are twisted by obsession, greed, and resentment and are eternally tormented by hunger and thirst.

Even more so are those deeply sinful and burdened by karma, who must endure endless punishment to atone for their sins (corresponding to the hell realm).

"Though all beings are different, their souls return to one. However, their causes and effects differ, their karmic forces vary, and their final destinations will naturally differ." A deeper understanding shone in Lin Xuan's eyes. "The Six Paths of Reincarnation are not discrimination, but order, guidance, and a manifestation of the universe's balance and the law of cause and effect!"

"Those who are virtuous, those who have contributed to heaven and earth, and those who are pure in heart can be reborn in a superior realm and enjoy more resources and opportunities. This is an encouragement."

"The wicked, those burdened with heavy karma, and those with distorted minds need to enter a realm of suffering to be tempered and atone for their sins; this is punishment and purification."

"Those who are neutral will re-enter the mortal world, experience life again, and cultivate their minds and nature once more; this is balance."

"Only in this way can reincarnation become a virtuous cycle that propels the universe upward, maintains the principle of karmic retribution, and provides all beings with continuous opportunities for spiritual practice!"

Once the idea is formed, it needs to be put into practice!

Lin Xuan took a deep breath, completely connecting his divine sense with the core of the entire Primordial Netherworld—the Reincarnation Mark. He intended to use his own will as the guide, the Reincarnation Mark as the hub, and this hundred-mile stretch of Netherworld land as the foundation to forcibly construct the prototype of the Six Paths of Reincarnation!

"In the name of the Lord of Reincarnation, I hereby establish the order of the Six Realms!"

His voice, like the sound of the Dao, resonated with the laws of the underworld. He raised his hands, and his boundless divine soul power, mixed with his understanding of the Six Paths Law, transformed into six pillars of light of different colors, each representing a different destiny and law, soaring into the sky!

The first path, pure and lofty, is pure white, exuding an aura of peace, tranquility, and transcendence. It pierces the highest point of the gray sky above the underworld, faintly outlining a magnificent scene of illusory palaces—the nascent form of the Heavenly Dao! This path guides souls with profound merit, pure and benevolent nature, or those who have made great contributions to heaven and earth.

The second path, profound and serene, is pale yellow in color, containing the true meaning of vitality, reproduction, and the seven emotions and six desires. Its light shines down, opening up a blurry, illusory passage connecting the mortal lives of all the heavens and myriad realms on the land of the underworld—the rudimentary form of humanity! This path accepts the vast majority of souls that have been cleansed by the Yellow Springs and whose karma is level.

The third path, violent and valiant, is dark gold in color, permeated with fighting spirit, murderous aura, and indomitable will. Its light distorts space on one side of the underworld, forming a projection of a realm that seems like an eternal battlefield, yet also contains opportunities—the prototype of the Asura Path! This path attracts those souls whose fighting spirit is undying, who are brave and warlike, but who are not purely evil.

The fourth path, the primordial chaos, is grayish-black in color, representing wildness, instinct, and ignorance. Its light sinks down, transforming at the edge of the earth into a phantom connecting endless mountains, forests, wilderness, and waters—the rudimentary form of the animal path! This path shelters those souls with low intelligence, burdened by karma, who need to relive the primordial chaos to awaken to their true nature.

The fifth path, twisted with hunger and thirst, is a ghostly green color, radiating endless greed, resentment, and pain. Its light forms a desolate, barren, and eternally insatiable distorted spatial projection on the other side—the rudimentary form of the Hungry Ghost Path! This path imprisons souls that have fallen due to extreme obsession and greed, and must endure eternal hunger and thirst to eliminate their karmic obstacles.

The sixth path, a brutal form of punishment, is dark red and imbued with the terrifying aura of judgment, torment, and atonement. Its light plunges straight into the deepest part of the underworld, creating a terrifying phantom filled with mountains of knives, seas of fire, boiling oil, and icy hells—the rudimentary form of the Hell Path! This path suppresses those souls who have committed heinous crimes, whose karma is overwhelming, and who must endure extreme punishment to cleanse even a trace of their sins!

Six beams of light and six illusory shadows stood proudly in the Netherworld. Although they were still extremely blurry and rudimentary, and even required Lin Xuan to continuously expend his power to maintain them, the distinct aura of laws and the direction of their destinations had already been clearly established!

As the Six Paths were established, the Samsara Mark deep within the Underworld Palace suddenly shone brightly, and the ancient Dao patterns on it seemed to become even more complex and profound. It began to autonomously emanate an invisible power of judgment and guidance, sweeping over the pure true spirits that had settled at the bottom of the Yellow Springs.

The spirits seemed to be summoned, and began to tremble slightly. Based on the extremely subtle causal karma and mental imprint contained in their core, they spontaneously drifted toward different illusory pillars of light!

The vast majority of true spirits flew towards the pale yellow phantom of the Human Realm. A few true spirits radiating a faint, pure light of merit were attracted by the pure white phantom of the Heavenly Realm. A few true spirits, still retaining their fighting spirit and whose murderous aura had not completely dissipated, turned towards the dark golden phantom of the Asura Realm. Some true spirits with dim spiritual light and a strong aura of ignorance drifted towards the gray-black phantom of the Animal Realm… and several twisted souls, still struggling in the Yellow Springs and radiating a strong aura of resentment and greed, were forcibly drawn into the ghostly green phantom of the Hungry Ghost Realm and the dark red phantom of the Hell Realm!

The cycle of reincarnation has begun!

Although these true spirits cannot immediately reincarnate through this rudimentary passage (the passage has not yet truly opened up all the heavens and realms), they have been successfully "classified" and found their respective temporary "waiting areas for reincarnation." The order of the entire underworld has instantly been elevated from a simple "receiving-settling" to a higher level of "receiving-judging-classifying-waiting for reincarnation"!

Lin Xuan looked at the six towering pillars of light, watched the true spirits return to their places, and felt the Netherworld become more stable and more "authoritative" and "orderly" because of the establishment of this rudimentary system. Finally, a look of satisfaction appeared on his face.

The six realms have taken shape!

This is not just a framework, but also a manifestation of his concept of the Great Dao of Reincarnation, and the blueprint and cornerstone for the future expansion of the Underworld and the perfection of its laws!

He believed that as his own strength increased and his understanding of the laws of reincarnation deepened, these six illusory figures would eventually transform into a real passage connecting all the heavens, radiating the reincarnation order of this Primordial Pure Land to every corner of the universe!
