Stone City.

The plaque of Juyitang looked somewhat out of place in the morning light.

The second floor of the teahouse.

Bai Zhanqiu did not feast as usual, but slowly sipped a cup of tea while listening to his subordinates' reports in hushed tones.

"Bawen has returned to the Agda camp and met with Gala Khan. Last night, the Agda tribe's forces moved around frequently, mainly to monitor us and some small villages outside the city. I estimate that those small villages are all strongholds of the Mandu tribe."

A barely perceptible smile appeared on Bai Zhanqiu's lips, as cunning as a fox watching its prey step into a trap. He put down his teacup, his fingertips gently stroking the smooth rim.

"When wolves smell blood, the grasslands will naturally descend into chaos."

He seemed to be talking to himself, or perhaps to his subordinates beside him.

"Has Su Zhan arrived?"

"Master Su will be here shortly!"

Bai Zhanqiu nodded and continued to close his eyes to rest.

A short while later, Su Zhan arrived and sat down directly opposite Bai Zhanqiu.

Bai Zhanqiu kept his eyes closed, seemingly indifferent to the monstrous waves that had been stirred up the previous night.

"You've made a good start on this second matter." Bai Zhanqiu slowly opened his eyes, a faint smile on his face.

"Let them have some fun now. Let the dogs fight and get some blood in their mouths. We can see which dog has the sharpest teeth. If the fire burns bright enough, we can save a lot of firewood."

Su Zhan spoke slowly, his eyes calm and unwavering.

"There's one item left in the transaction."

Su Zhan was never concerned with the outcome of the battle between the Fierce Dragon Gang and the Grassland People; he only wanted to fulfill his promise to Bai Zhanqiu and then leave this quagmire.

Bai Zhanqiu laughed heartily, not caring about Su Zhan's directness.

"Don't worry, the third one will be ready soon. Once they've finished biting them, it'll be my turn to clean up the mess."

A confident glint flashed in Bai Zhanqiu's eyes, but this calm did not last long before hurried footsteps suddenly sounded.

"Master Bai, something terrible has happened!" A member of the Fierce Dragon Gang rushed up in a panicked voice.

Bai Zhanqiu's calm face furrowed, and the composure he usually exuded when in control faded slightly.

"What's the panic? Is the sky falling down?"

The man, panting heavily, said urgently.

"The Agada tribe, and Galahan, he's gone mad, he's taken direct action!"

Su Zhan's pupils contracted slightly as he waited for what was to come, while Bai Zhanqiu sat up straight beside him.

"Just half an incense stick's time ago, Galahan personally led a raid on the stronghold of the Mandu tribe in the west of the city. They killed everyone they saw, leaving no one alive, on the grounds that they were colluding with Han dogs to murder Galatu!"

The two groups are currently locked in a fierce battle, and the Mandu tribe has completely erupted into chaos. They've summoned reinforcements and launched an attack on Stone City. The city gates are about to collapse. The steppe people are fighting amongst themselves, and our brothers can't get involved at all.

"What?" Bai Zhanqiu suddenly stood up, his usually composed face showing surprise and panic for the first time.

His meticulously crafted scenario of wolves devouring each other was prematurely detonated by Galahad, a brute, in such a simple, brutal, and ruthless manner, with the tipping point being Stone City.

This completely disrupted his rhythm. His plan was to let the suspicion gradually escalate, let the two sides slowly rub against each other, and finally carry out a decisive battle at a controllable breaking point, so that the Raptors could reap the benefits.

Now, the flames of war have spread directly to Stone City!

Both Agada and the Mandu tribe are formidable figures. Their clash will instantly turn the entire Stone City into a giant meat grinder, making it impossible for the Fierce Dragon Gang to remain uninvolved and watch the tigers fight from the sidelines.

"That fool Galahan!"

Bai Zhanqiu cursed under his breath, his eyes flashing rapidly as he quickly weighed the pros and cons.

The chaos in the city, with the grassland people killing each other, weakened both sides, but the out-of-control chaos would also backfire on the Fierce Dragon Gang.

Moreover, he originally planned to wait until both sides were exhausted before having Su Zhan do the third thing: to eliminate the grassland people's power and completely control Stone City.

But now he has to rush to bring it forward, but if he does that, the timing is far from right, and his chances of success are greatly reduced.

Bai Zhanqiu suddenly turned his head, his gaze shooting towards Su Zhan. His eyes no longer held the previous composure and calculation, but only a sense of imminent crisis.

"The plans have changed; we need to do the third thing immediately!"

Su Zhan remained seated, as if the deafening battle cries in the city were merely a distant breeze.

He saw the fleeting panic in Bai Zhanqiu's eyes and understood.

Bai Zhanqiu wasn't exactly a master strategist; when the storm of reality blew in, he was powerless to stop it.

"What should I do?"

Bai Zhanqiu took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing his turbulent emotions, and spoke slowly and deliberately, his voice filled with icy killing intent.

"Our immediate priority is to quickly eliminate the chieftain of the grassland people in the city, and then kill the chieftain of the Mandu tribe. Now, while they are busy fighting and have no time to attend to us, we should swallow them both up."

He stared intently at Su Zhan, his tone leaving no room for argument.

"This wasn't part of our plan, but it's our only chance! The chaos is already set in motion; only by defeating the enemy can we turn the tide! No one but you and me can do it in this Shura City."

Faint sounds of fighting, screams, and clashing weapons could be heard outside the window, growing clearer and clearer. It seemed the city gates had fallen, crashing against the stone city like a surging tide.

This small border town has now been completely engulfed in the frenzied attacks of the grassland people.

Su Zhan slowly stood up, not looking at Bai Zhanqiu, but casting his gaze at the gray sky outside! His fingers gently rubbed together as he pondered deeply.

Whether it's the people and dogs fighting on the grasslands or the Dragon Gang trying to take advantage of the chaos, it has nothing to do with him.

All he had to do was protect Lin Yuer and then, together with Lin Qingshan, take advantage of the chaos to end it all.

As for the third thing Bai Zhanqiu instructed, he would complete it. He always kept his promises. Once he finished this task, his relationship with Bai Zhanqiu would come to an end.

"good!"

Su Zhan uttered only one word, his voice eerily calm. A glint flashed in Bai Zhanqiu's eyes, and without hesitation, he pulled out a token and tossed it to Su Zhan.

"With this token, you can mobilize any member of the Fierce Dragon Gang to find Bamboo Leaf Green; she knows where the chief of the Agada tribe is!"

Su Zhan nodded.

"Then I'll go."

Without a word, Su Zhan turned and strode downstairs. The moment his figure disappeared at the top of the stairs, it was as if he had merged the entire world of carnage outside into it.

Bai Zhanqiu stood on the second floor, listening to the chaotic sounds outside and then to Su Zhan's footsteps gradually fading away. He slowly sat back down in his chair, picked up the cup of tea that had long since gone cold, and his fingertips turned slightly white.

The plan spiraled completely out of control, and he was completely drawn into it.

What will become of Stone City? Will the Raptors be able to turn the tide in this battle and unify Stone City? Only time will tell.

Inside the Hall of Righteousness, the aroma of tea was completely masked by the faint smell of blood drifting in from outside the window.

At this moment, Bai Zhanqiu's heart was also in turmoil.
