She then shouted to those around her, "Everyone come and see! A grown man is bullying us, a widow and her orphan!"

"You've spoiled your child rotten, and now he's throwing a tantrum! Where's the mother? Where is she hiding? Call her out and let them be the judge!"

More people gathered to watch, and whispers filled the air.

Song Jingmo's face darkened.

Just as he was about to call security, a familiar voice came from outside the crowd: "Who's looking for me?"

Lu Er, carrying two cups of milk tea, walked to Song Jingmo's side and glanced at Lu Ming first.

Upon hearing Lu Er's voice, the little one immediately peeked out from under Song Jingmo's shoulder, her eyes brimming with tears, and stretched out her tiny hand: "I want Mommy, call her..."

Lu Er shoved the milk tea into Song Jingmo's hand, took Lu Ming's, and coaxed him softly, "Baby, be good, don't be afraid."

Then, turning to the old lady, his voice was chilling: "If you have something to say, just tell me."

The old lady glanced at Lu Er and asked suspiciously, "Are you the child's mother?"

Are you sure you want to talk to the child's mother?

The old lady was startled by Lu Er's forced smile: "What do you mean?"

"If you really call his mother over, you'll be facing the strongest legal team in City A. You'll be lucky if you have to pay a few million."

Pointing to the surveillance camera, she said, "If you insist on making a scene, I'll call the security guards right now and have them pull up the surveillance video so everyone can see whether your granddaughter fell down on her own or my child pushed her."

"If my child didn't push anyone, every word you just said is slander. My child isn't an ordinary child; are you sure you want to continue this unreasonable behavior?"

The old woman became completely mute.

The little girl's mother's face flushed red and then paled. Looking at Lu Er, who was dressed in haute couture, she tugged at her mother-in-law's sleeve and whispered, "Stop talking, let's go."

The old lady still wanted to argue, but when she saw Lu Er's brightly smiling yet chilling eyes, she reluctantly shut her mouth.

The woman, holding the little girl who had stopped crying, dragged the old lady along, and sheepishly pushed through the crowd, quickly leaving the amusement park.

Seeing that there was no more excitement to be had, the onlookers gradually dispersed.

Lu Er hugged Lu Ming and gently coaxed him, "It's okay, baby, don't be afraid."

Lu Ming gave a muffled "hmm," his little hands gripping Lu Er's collar tightly.

Watching Lu Er dismiss the person with just a few words, Song Jingmo's lips curled up slightly: "President Lu is so impressive."

Lu Er rolled her eyes: "You're just too reasonable. People like that are just bullies who prey on the weak."

Song Jingmo chuckled softly, reached out and ruffled Lu Ming's little head, then looked at Lu Er with eyes so tender they could melt water.

"Er'er, you've worked so hard. I'm so useless."

Lu Er snorted, but there was a smile in her eyes.

"Let's go home. We're not playing in this lousy place anymore."

After leaving the amusement park, Lu Ming's mood had mostly recovered.

The little guy sat in his car seat, holding the dinosaur balloon that Lu Er had bought at the exit.

The little girl sang an unknown nursery rhyme, completely forgetting that she had just been frightened by the fierce old lady.

The car turned into the underground parking lot of a large supermarket.

Song Jingmo parked the car and carried Lu Ming out of the car.

Lu Er pushed a small stroller over, and Song Jingmo put the little one into the shopping cart's special child seat.

Lu Ming held onto the edge of the car with his little hands, looking like a little adult, sitting obediently without crying or making a fuss.

The supermarket was well-cooled. Song Jingmo pushed the shopping cart while Lu Er walked beside him, and the two strolled leisurely through the fresh produce section.

Lu Er would occasionally pick up a box of ingredients, look at it, and then hand it to Lu Ming.

Is this tomato red?

Lu Er handed the tomato to the little guy.

Lu Ming took it, examined it carefully like an adult, and nodded earnestly: "Red!"

"Okay, put it in the car."

Lu Ming carefully placed the tomato into the shopping cart, making sure it was neatly arranged so it would be next to the other items.

"How about this green bell pepper? Is it green?"

"green!"

"Put it away properly."

"Does this stalk of celery look good?"

Lu Ming frowned and looked at the bunch of celery. He seemed a little hesitant, but he still took it and placed it neatly next to the tomato.

Lu Er was amused by his seriousness and turned to Song Jingmo, saying, "Look at him, he's much more obedient than I was when I was a child."

Looking at the groceries that Lu Ming had neatly arranged in the shopping cart, Song Jingmo smiled and said, "You're a bit of a perfectionist."

"It looks just like you."

Lu Er retorted, "What obsessive-compulsive disorder do I have?"

"You won't let me touch your skincare products, and you always warn me not to mess with them."

"That's because you don't distinguish between day cream and night cream, and you put the caps on the bottles randomly."

The two chatted back and forth, while Lu Ming sat in the car, glancing at Lu Er and then at Song Jingmo.

Although she couldn't understand what the two were saying, she saw the adults laughing and giggled along, revealing a few tiny teeth.

Every time she picked something out, Lu Er would first hand it to Lu Ming, asking, "Baby, do you want this?"

Lu Ming would always nod solemnly, then take the items with both hands, carefully place them in the shopping cart, and then arrange them neatly.

That serious little expression, paired with chubby cheeks and focused eyes, is simply too cute to be true.

Halfway through my shopping, an older woman pushing a shopping cart walked by, her eyes instantly lighting up: "Oh my gosh, whose little baby is this? She's so beautiful!"

He stopped and bent down to take a closer look.

Lu Ming wasn't afraid of strangers and looked back with his big, round eyes.

The older woman looked at him with increasing delight, glancing up at Lu Er and then at Lu Ming, her face beaming with surprise: "Is this your son? He looks just like him!"

"Those eyebrows, those eyes, that nose—they're practically identical!"

"The child's mother must be very beautiful, right?"

Then she looked at Song Jingmo and asked, "Is this the child?"

Lu Er's smile froze slightly, and she subconsciously glanced at Song Jingmo.

Song Jingmo remained calm and even nodded politely to the woman, saying, "I am his uncle."

"Both father and son are handsome, and even the uncle is handsome."

The woman finished praising the cart with satisfaction and then pushed it away.

Then, passing aunties, young girls, and even mothers with children couldn't help but stop to tease the deer.

Then, without exception, their gazes darted back and forth between Lu Er and Lu Ming.

They all praised her, saying, "This child is so beautiful; her genes are really strong."

"The father is handsome, and the son is so cute!"

Lu Er's smile grew increasingly stiff; she couldn't decide whether to answer or not.

I tried to explain several times, but the words stuck in my throat.

In this situation, it's even stranger to explain, and the other person just made a casual compliment and then left.

Lu Er was afraid that Song Jingmo would be unhappy, so she couldn't help but steal a few glances.

Song Jingmo remained calm throughout, pushing the shopping cart.

Occasionally glancing at the goods on the shelves, occasionally looking down at the deer's cries, it's as if those discussions have nothing to do with me.

But Lu Er just felt that something was not quite right.

Finally, Lu Er almost hastily ended the purchase.

After quickly picking out the remaining items, she pulled Song Jingmo to pay the bill.
