Stepping out of the teaching building, the sun was blazing. Mo Ye squinted and took out his phone to call He Wanqing.

The phone rang twice before being answered. He Wanqing's voice came through the receiver, gentle and soothing, like being bathed in warm water: "Feed~".

Mo Ye's lips unconsciously curled up, and his voice softened: "Baby, what do you want to eat for lunch? I'll make it for you."

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone. What Mo Ye didn't know was that He Wanqing was thinking—"I want to eat your mouth."

She pursed her lips, swallowed back the words she was about to say, and instead said, "We can just go out for lunch together, there's no need to go to all this trouble."

Mo Ye opened the door of the electric scooter, tossed the textbook under the seat, and said in a light tone, "Okay, I'll come find you now."

"Okay↗" He Wanqing's voice had a slight upward tone at the end, like the purring sound of a cat whose chin has been scratched.

After hanging up the phone, He Wanqing put her phone on the table, stood up, and walked into the lounge.

She stood in front of the mirror, combed her hair with her fingers, straightened her collar, and then looked closely at her makeup to make sure that the lip gloss hadn't gotten on her teeth before walking out satisfied.

She sat back in her chair, rested her chin on her hands, and stared at the closed door, waiting.

After waiting for a while, there was no movement at the door. She looked away, opened the document on the table that she hadn't finished reading, wrote a few words on the paper with her pen, and then stopped.

She glanced at the door again; it was still closed.

She wrote a few more lines, then stopped.

After repeating this several times, she finally put down her pen, crossed her arms, leaned back in her chair, and stared straight at the door.

There was a knock on the door.

He Wanqing sprang up from the chair, her movements as fast as if she had a spring under her buttocks.

She jogged over, her hand already on the doorknob, a smile unconsciously spreading across her face.

The door opened—it was Xiaoqian.

Xiaoqian was overwhelmed with gratitude when the CEO personally opened the door for her, feeling as flattered as if she had won the lottery.

She stood at the door, holding the documents, her face filled with shock, as if to say, "Have I already reached such a high level in the CEO's eyes?"

She carefully handed over the documents: "Mr. He, these are the documents."

She glanced up furtively and noticed that the CEO's face seemed a little dark. What happened?

When He Wanqing saw that it was Xiaoqian, the tenderness, expectation and joy on her face just now disappeared completely, as if erased by an eraser.

Her expression returned to its usual cool and aloofness, like a distant mountain covered with a thin layer of snow.

She hummed in agreement, took the document, and then said nothing more.

Xiaoqian stood there for a while, and when she realized that the president didn't intend to speak again, she whispered, "President, I'm leaving."

He Wanqing didn't even raise her head, just nodded her chin.

Xiaoqian turned and walked out, feeling that the air pressure around her was a bit low, like the sky before a storm, heavy and oppressive, making it hard to breathe.

She quickened her pace, almost fleeing the office.

The elevator doors opened, and Mo Ye stepped out.

Xiaoqian understood everything in an instant.

Why did the CEO personally open the door? Why did his face change from expectation to disappointment? Why was the atmosphere so tense...?

She remembered that famous meme, the clown with the red nose.

She silently added a red nose to her image in her mind.

She glanced back; the office door was ajar, and He Wanqing's voice came from inside, gentle and soft like a spring breeze: "You've come..."

Then, with a "snap," the door slammed shut, cutting off the rest of the conversation; not a single word could be heard.

Xiaoqian stood in the corridor, looking at the tightly closed door, with only one thought in her mind—is this the power of love?

Inside the door, Mo Ye was pinning He Wanqing against the wall, one hand supporting her ear and the other around her waist, as he lowered his head to kiss her.

He Wanqing's cheeks flushed red from the kiss, and her eyes were moist, like the surface of a lake after a rain.

Mo Ye released her lips, and she glared at him coquettishly, her eyes both shy and annoyed, but the alluring look in her eyes was like a soft little hook, making people itch.

"You bad guy, you took advantage of me as soon as you arrived." Her voice was so soft it was unbelievable, like being soaked in honey water.

Mo Ye lowered his head, forehead to forehead with hers, his voice low, with a hint of self-righteous amusement: "I'm just exercising my rights as a husband."

He Wanqing pouted, her pink lips slightly upturned, like a flower bud about to bloom.

Mo Ye looked at her lips and kissed them again.

They kissed once, then kissed again, and then kissed once more.

He Wanqing was a little breathless from the kiss, and pushed against his chest, her voice both urgent and shy: "What are you doing!"

Mo Ye looked at her innocently, a mischievous smile playing on his lips: "Weren't you pouting? I thought you wanted a kiss again."

He Wanqing was speechless at his logic; she opened her mouth, then closed it again.

She took a deep breath, trying to make her voice sound normal, but it still carried a trace of softness: "I have to go to work now, I have a lot of work to do today."

She turned around, walked back to her desk, sat down, and opened the files.

Mo Ye followed behind her and sat down on the chair next to her: "Don't you have your husband here? No rush, keep me company first."

He Wanqing turned to look at him, her small mouth tightly shut, her expression clearly saying, "It's working hours now."

Mo Ye smiled as he looked at her stubborn little face.

He operated the computer while his other hand rested discreetly on He Wanqing's thigh, his fingertips slowly tracing circles on her smooth skin.

He Wanqing felt uncomfortable all over as he touched her, as if countless ants were crawling on her skin. She rubbed her legs together and then pressed them tightly together.

She picked up her pen, tapped the back of his hand lightly, and said in a cool voice, "Work hard."

Mo Ye didn't look up, nor did he stop what he was doing, a smirk playing on his lips: "I'm touching you very seriously, no, I'm working very seriously!"

He Wanqing laughed in exasperation, quickly moving his hand away, her voice both anxious and embarrassed: "If you keep doing this, I might make a mistake at work later."

Mo Ye nodded and withdrew his hand.

Then his fingers began to fly across the keyboard, as fast as the wind, the clicking sound echoing in the quiet office.

He Wanqing secretly glanced at him. His profile was very serious, his eyelashes were slightly drooping, his lips were pursed, and his brows were slightly furrowed. He was completely focused on his work.

She looked at him, and a certain string in her heart was gently plucked.

He's really handsome, even more so when he's serious, and this man is her husband too. The more she thinks about it, the more she feels like she's hit the jackpot.

Time always flies when I work with Mo Ye.

Documents that would normally take half a day to process were finished in a morning with his help.

He Wanqing closed the last document, leaned back in her chair, and watched his fingers flying across the keyboard. Suddenly, she realized that going to work was such an easy thing.

Mo Ye finished processing the last document, saved it, closed it, and turned to look at her.

"Honey, are you off work yet?" He glanced at the clock on the wall; it was exactly twelve o'clock.

He Wanqing nodded, stood up and stretched, her waistline perfectly displayed under her white shirt: "Let's go down for dinner."

Mo Ye stood up and walked towards her instead of heading towards the door.

"No rush," he reached out and pulled her into his arms, looking down at her, "Let me eat you first..."
