Mo Ye parked the car in the company's underground garage, turned off the engine, and glanced at He Wanqing in the passenger seat.

She closed her eyes, her eyelashes drooping gently, and her breathing was even.

He didn't wake her; he simply unbuckled his seatbelt, walked around the front of the car, opened the passenger door, bent down, and lifted her from the seat.

He Wanqing stirred in his arms, nuzzled her face against his chest, found a comfortable position, and continued to sleep.

Mo Ye carried her into the elevator, pressed the floor button with his elbow, and the elevator doors closed, reflecting his image of holding her in the mirror.

In the office break room, Mo Ye put her on the bed and pulled the blanket over her stomach.

He Wanqing turned over, buried her face in the pillow, and her breathing quickly became long and even.

Mo Ye stood by the bed for a while, then went out, sat down at his desk, and began working on the day's tasks.

Today's workload is enormous.

The computer screen was covered with emails, and the desktop was piled high with documents.

Mo Ye took a deep breath, placed his fingers on the keyboard, and began to type rapidly.

The clicking sound echoed in the quiet office.

After processing the electronic documents, he picked up the paper documents and reviewed, signed, and annotated them one by one.

His brows were slightly furrowed, his gaze moved quickly across the paper, and the sound of his pen slicing across the paper was like the autumn wind passing through a quiet forest.

He Wan regained consciousness.

She came out of the lounge, her hair a little messy, her face still flushed from just waking up.

She walked over to Mo Ye, glanced at the pile of unfinished documents in front of him, said nothing, sat down in her chair, picked up a pen, and began working on them with him.

Neither of them spoke, but they worked together seamlessly.

Time slipped away quietly through the gaps in the documents, from two o'clock to three o'clock, and from three o'clock to four o'clock.

When the clock on the wall struck 4:30, Mo Ye closed the last document, leaned back in his chair, and let out a long sigh.

He glanced at He Wanqing, who was also working on the last document. Her pen flew across the paper as she quickly scribbled a few lines before closing the folder and setting it aside. Both of them leaned back in their chairs, clearly exhausted.

Mo Ye glanced at the time, then at the setting sun outside the window, a hint of helpless sigh in his voice:

"I was planning to finish this quickly and then get a haircut..."

He Wanqing pursed her lips, stood up, picked up her bag, walked to his side, and took his hand: "Let's go pick up Tongtong, we'll cut her hair tomorrow."

Mo Ye nodded, took her hand in return, and the two walked out of the office together.

When the car stopped at the kindergarten gate, Tongtong was already standing obediently next to the teacher, carrying her little bear backpack.

When she saw the black car, she rushed over like a small cannonball, waving her chubby little hands out the window like a windmill.

He Wanqing opened the car door, and Tongtong buried her face in her arms, nuzzling her leg, her voice sweet and bright: "Mommy~".

He Wanqing picked her up, put her in the child seat in the back seat, and fastened the seat belt.

Mo Ye started the car and was about to drive home when He Wanqing's phone suddenly rang.

She took her phone out of her bag; the screen showed Jiang Shuya's profile picture.

She swiped to answer the call, holding the phone to her ear: "Hello, Mom?"

Jiang Shuya's voice came through the receiver: "Are you coming over this weekend?"

He Wanqing turned her head and glanced at Mo Ye, asking him with her eyes.

Mo Ye: "Auntie, I'm taking graduation photos this weekend, how about next week?"

His voice wasn't loud, but Jiang Shuya on the other end of the phone had already heard it.

She hummed in agreement: "Okay, bring Tongtong over to my place for a couple of days. I miss her."

Hearing her name called from the back seat, Tongtong immediately poked her little head out of her chair, snuggled her face close to He Wanqing's arm, and called out into the phone in her sweet, childish voice, "Grandma, I miss you too~"

Jiang Shuya's voice instantly brightened, and she couldn't stop smiling:

"Oh, Grandma's little darling! How about Tongtong comes to Grandma's house for a couple of days?"

Tongtong patted her little tummy, her face full of excitement and anticipation, her voice crisp and bright:

"Okay, okay, Grandma! It's been so long since I've stayed overnight at Grandma's house!"

He Wanqing handed her the phone. Tongtong held the phone in her two chubby little hands, nestled in her high chair, and chattered away with Jiang Shuya. When she was happy, she would giggle, her laughter like a string of wind chimes swaying in the carriage.

Mo Ye glanced at the little dumpling in the back seat, who was excitedly making a phone call, in the rearview mirror. He smirked, turned the steering wheel a little, changed direction, and drove towards Jiang Shuya's house.

When the car stopped at the door, He Wanning had already come out of the house.

She was wearing loose loungewear, her hair casually tied back, and slippers, looking quite relaxed.

She opened the car door, bent down and lifted Tongtong out of the back seat, cradling her under her arms like a kitten, and held her up to her face, nose to nose, her voice tinged with a mischievous laugh:

"Hakitong, you've arrived."

Tongtong wrinkled her little nose, her face full of disdain, and said in a muffled voice, "Auntie is bad."

He Wanning laughed and started pinching her little face.

She gently pinched Tongtong's soft little face with her fingers, as if she were kneading a ball of soft dough; it felt wonderful to the touch.

Tongtong's face was pinched so hard it was deformed, and she angrily stretched out her chubby little hand to pull He Wanning's face.

But He Wanning's face wasn't that fleshy; it was smooth, like a pebble washed by water. Her chubby little hands tried to grab it several times but couldn't, as if they were trying to catch a slippery fish.

Tongtong angrily slapped He Wanning's hand away with her chubby little hand, her voice urgent and crisp, carrying a hint of accusation: "Stop pinching me!"

Then she saw Jiang Shuya come out of the house. Jiang Shuya was wearing a dark-colored loungewear, her hair was up, revealing her fair nape, and she looked very energetic.

Tongtong's eyes lit up instantly, like two stars that had been lit up. She immediately turned her head, stretched out her chubby little hand towards Jiang Shuya, and said in a sweet and soft voice, with a hint of grievance and accusation, "Grandma~ Auntie bullied me."

He Wanning's lips twitched, but before she could even defend herself, Jiang Shuya's face had already darkened.

"He Wanning, get out of here and go live somewhere else. There are plenty of houses to live in anyway."

He Wanning's lips twitched again, and her expression changed from smugness to helplessness, and from helplessness to resignation.

Jiang Shuya took Tongtong from He Wanning's arms, and the little girl immediately buried her face in her grandmother's neck like a kitten that had found its nest. She rubbed against her grandmother's neck, her little face still showing that aggrieved expression, but the corners of her mouth had already secretly turned up.

Jiang Shuya looked down at Tongtong's little face, reached out and touched it, and exclaimed "Ouch!" with a hint of exaggerated heartache in her voice: "Tongtong's little face is all red."

Then she raised her foot and gently kicked He Wanning, not hard, "You never do anything productive all day, always doing these useless things."

He Wanning patted her bottom, pouted, and argued with a hint of defiance in her voice, "Aren't toys for kids to play with? Otherwise, what's the fun?"

Jiang Shuya rolled her eyes at her, her voice icy: "Get out of here, you two or three, I don't want to see you."

He Wanning snorted, her voice carrying a hint of stubborn defiance: "Fine, I'll get out then."

Then he turned and went inside, his slippers making a "pat-pat" sound on the floor.

Mo Ye and He Wanqing got out of the car and stood side by side beside it.

Jiang Shuya looked up, her gaze falling on the black baseball cap on Mo Ye's head. She frowned slightly, her voice filled with curiosity and concern: "Xiao Mo, why are you wearing a hat?"
