Mo Ye coughed, feeling extremely embarrassed, and lowered his head, pretending to look at the pattern on the floor.

Jiang Shuya nodded, a slight smile on her lips: "My husband said not to wake her up before ten o'clock this morning."

Upon hearing this, the four elders all wore expressions that were hard to describe. They looked at each other and then simultaneously looked away.

Mo Ye felt he couldn't stay there any longer. He looked up, his voice a little strained: "I'm going to find Wanqing."

Jiang Hui waved her hand, her tone urging, "You should go now."

Mo Ye strode up to the second floor and pushed open the door to He Wanqing's room.

The room was dimly lit, with the curtains drawn tightly, and only the small nightlight on the bedside table was on, casting a warm, yellowish glow.

He Wanqing lay on her side in bed, fast asleep, her eyelashes drooping quietly, her breathing long and even.

Tongtong lay on top of her, her little face pressed against He Wanqing's chest, her little mouth slightly open, drool dripping down the corner of her mouth, wetting a small, shiny patch on the chest of He Wanqing's nightgown.

Mo Ye tiptoed over, bent down, and picked Tongtong up from He Wanqing's arms.

When the little girl was picked up, her body was limp and her head was tilted on Mo Ye's shoulder. She continued to sleep soundly without making a sound.

Mo Ye gently placed her on the pillow next to him, pulled the small blanket over her round little belly, and then took out a few tissues from the bedside table and began to clean the wet stains on He Wanqing's chest.

He Wanqing felt something moving on her chest, like something gently wiping it.

She groggily reached out and patted him, mumbling incoherently, "Tongtong... don't move..."

Then she opened her eyes and saw a figure with its head down, its hand moving near her chest.

She gasped and instinctively shrank back.

Then she remembered that she was at home, and the only person who could come into her room was Mo Ye.

She relaxed, took a closer look, and sure enough, it was Mo Ye, holding a tissue in his hand, looking at her with an innocent expression.

Her voice was cool: "Coming here to act like a hooligan first thing in the morning."

Mo Ye held up the tissue in his hand and waved it in front of her, his voice carrying a hint of grievance and innocence:

"Tongtong was drooling, and I cleaned it up for you, and you're turning around and blaming me."

He Wanqing looked down at her chest and saw that it was indeed wet, with a water stain standing out against her light-colored nightgown.

She glanced helplessly at the culprit beside her, who was slumped over the pillow, mouth slightly open, still fast asleep, and sighed, her voice muffled: "You got off easy."

Mo Ye grinned mischievously and leaned closer to her, his voice low and tinged with a playful mirth: "Where on your body haven't I touched?"

He Wanqing crossed her arms, raised her chin slightly, and said confidently, "Even so..."

Mo Ye said "Oh," and the corners of his mouth curved into a wider smile: "I understand."

He Wanqing was stunned for a moment. What did he know?

Mo Ye analyzed seriously, "I'm going to act all lecherous, and then you'll play hard to get, right?"

He Wanqing's lips twitched: "You..."

Mo Ye rubbed his hands together, his eyes sparkling with anticipation and a mischievous grin: "Then let's give it a try."

He Wanqing immediately covered her chest, her voice both urgent and embarrassed: "I don't want to!"

Mo Ye looked at her anxious expression and laughed, his voice tinged with a hint of teasing: "Wanqing, your acting is pretty good."

Before He Wanqing could even refute, she was brutally murdered.

She glared at him angrily, her voice muffled: "You bad guy."

Then, in a fit of anger, she grabbed Tongtong, who was standing next to her.

The little girl was lifted into the air, her two chubby little legs hanging limply, her little face filled with confusion and weariness.

He Wanqing said, "Wake up! Your mother has been bullied, how can you still be in the mood to sleep!"

Tongtong looked around in a daze, not knowing what was happening, but she knew that she was already in mid-air.

She bleated, her little face full of question marks: "What?!"

Looking at Tongtong's dazed and confused little face scrunched up, He Wanqing couldn't help but narrow her eyes and slightly curl up the corners of her mouth.

Tongtong rubbed her eyes and finally saw the person in front of her. A sweet smile immediately spread across her little face. She stretched out her chubby little hand and said in a soft, sweet voice with the coquettish tone of someone who had just woken up, "Daddy, hug me."

Upon hearing this, He Wanqing reached out and pulled her behind her to block her, then put her on the bed and threw herself into Mo Ye's arms, wrapping her arms around his waist and pressing her face against his chest.

She glanced down at the little dumpling still standing on the bed, a slight smile playing on her lips, her voice tinged with pride: "Mommy will hold him first."

Tongtong pouted, her little face puffed up like a little pufferfish, and her voice was muffled, carrying a hint of defiance:

"Mommy's naughty, Tongtong said it first!"

She slid off the bed, took short steps to walk behind He Wanqing, grabbed her mother's long legs with her chubby little hands, and started pulling her backward.

She strained with all her might, her little face turning red, her lips pursed tightly, like a little rabbit pulling up a radish.

He Wanqing glanced down at the little dumpling desperately pulling at her leg, then stretched out her other leg and gently pushed it away.

Tongtong plopped down on the ground, her chubby little hands supporting her weight. She paused for a second, then pouted, looking sullen again.

She turned her head away from the two of them, her voice muffled, carrying a hint of stubbornness and grievance:

"If you keep doing this, I... I'm not going to talk to you anymore! I mean it!"

After a while, Tongtong quietly turned her head and glanced at the bed out of the corner of her eye.

The two people who were just here a moment ago have vanished. Tongtong's eyes widened, her little face filled with disbelief. This wasn't how the script was supposed to go!

She quickly got up from the ground, ran to the bathroom door, and poked her little head inside.

He Wanqing was brushing her teeth at the sink, her mouth full of white foam. She saw a small head peeking in the mirror.

She lowered her head to rinse the foam from her mouth, her voice light and tinged with a hint of amusement: "Not sulking anymore?"

Tongtong pouted and said in her childish voice, "You two bad guys aren't going to comfort me, so why should I be angry? What's the use of being angry!"

She climbed onto her little stool and stood obediently. Mo Ye squeezed the toothpaste onto her toothbrush and handed it to her.

Tongtong took her cartoon mouthwash cup and started brushing her teeth with loud "whoosh whoosh whoosh," making her mouth full of white foam.

After brushing her teeth, Mo Ye washed her face and dried it with a towel. Her little face was rosy, like a clean little apple.

The three of them then went downstairs together.

In the living room, several elders were drinking tea and chatting. Seeing them come down, Jiang Shuya put down her teacup and said, "We'll go help you choose a wedding date."
