Zhang Wen was processing documents as usual when a phone call suddenly came in.

"Hello, this is Zhang Wen."

"Comrade Zhang Wen, we are Wang Changlin from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection."

Zhang Wen was completely bewildered. He didn't think he had done anything wrong recently. The last time he was reported was because of Wang Guangming's malicious report.

"Hello, Secretary Wang, what brings you here?"

"We received reports that you maliciously suppressed Chen Yanshi's family, deliberately exiled his son to western desertification control, and that you violated regulations by organizing large-scale events."

Zhang Wen was a little surprised after hearing this. He said, "Why has this old guy been so quiet lately? Turns out he's up to something big behind my back."

"Minister Li, I am innocent. We transferred Chen Hai to the west because he made a mistake, and we wanted him to learn from it."

Chen Yanshi opened the door and looked surprised to see two staff members from the Housing Management Bureau.

"Comrades, what brings you here? Is there something you need?"

"Hello, Comrade Chen Yanshi, according to instructions from above, since you no longer receive the retirement benefits of a department-level cadre, we are going to take this house back."

Chen Yanshi was shocked to hear this. He had lived in this house for so many years, how could he take it back?
