Green waved his hand and said, "No need for formalities, just call me Green. May I ask where the toilet or bathroom is?"

Natsuki Subaru pointed to the room he had just been kicked out of and said, "What a coincidence, Grin-kun, the toilet is actually this one."

"No way! You little rascal, you're trying to mess with me?"

Green looked incredulous.

"That's absolutely not true, Lord Green!"

Despite saying that, a mischievous smile still flashed across Natsuki Subaru's face.

If a guest were also knocked away by the drill-wielding girl, that would be a great disrespect.

Betty sat curled up on the wooden bench in the library, her cream-colored double-curled ponytail hanging over her shoulders, and the hem of her gorgeous ruffled dress swaying softly.

The girl, who looked to be about eleven or twelve years old, didn't look up. Instead, she said in a cold voice, "What, does Betty look like a cannonball?"

Green slammed the door shut, turned around, and stared at Subaru Natsuki, who was grinning awkwardly.

Green rubbed his fingers together, making a sharp, powerful crack, and walked step by step toward Subaru Natsuki, seemingly intending to beat him up.

Green let out a long breath, calming himself down.

Betty, holding the book, gracefully descended the wooden bench and stopped in front of Green.

Standing only four feet seven inches (140), her delicate little leather shoes made a "clattering" sound as they landed on the ground.

She placed her right hand on Green's abdomen, a move that startled Green, who quickly took a few steps back.

"Betty, I'm injured! Can you wait a few days while I recover before you absorb magic?"

"Idiot! Please don't misinterpret Betty's actions. Betty is just sensing another life within you and is simply curious. Also, please call Betty by her full name, Beatrice! Hearing the word 'Betty' from your mouth makes Betty feel incredibly uncomfortable!"

Betty stomped her foot angrily, her little fists clenched tightly.

"Okay, Betty, no problem, Betty!"

Green's rebellious nature has been triggered; his specialty is provoking the arrogant and tsundere to anger.

"That damned guy!"

Filled with anger, Betty reached out her right hand again, this time determined to extract some magic from Green.

Green was already prepared, letting Betty's little hand rest on his lower abdomen.

The magic channeling began, and Betty drew out a pure stream of Yin-attribute mana, but strangely, Green didn't even flinch.

A scream came from under Green's blouse, and a golden mirror flew out with it.

The magic mirror focused its gaze on Betty. Since only she and her master were present, it must have been her who did it.

Betty carefully examined the magic mirror, then reached out and grabbed its handle.

"It seems you're not an elf. Betty is overthinking it. But Betty has never seen a talking magical item before."

"Let go, you rude brat! Don't push me, or I'll chew your soul to pieces and swallow it whole!"

The magic mirror threatened, unaware that it had already stepped on a landmine. Betty hated being treated like a child.

After saying that, he whispered in Green's ear, "Master, quickly get her a poisoned apple and trick her into eating it. If we don't kill her today, things will get really messy."

Green's lips twitched, and he covered his face with his hands, unable to look directly at her.

"As your master, I often feel ashamed."

Ignoring the magic mirror, Betty hurriedly squatted down and carefully picked up the book.

Neither Subaru nor Green's arrival changed anything.

The book remained empty, just as it had been four hundred years ago.

Green knew that there was indeed a verbal oath between Betty and the Witch of Greed, Echidna.
