"She smells like a witch, and she's pretending to be clueless and saying it has nothing to do with her. Don't be ridiculous!"

Rem blocked the doorway, searching for Subaru Natsuki inside the room.

The magic mirror's invisibility effect was quite good, immediately causing Rem to lose her lock on Subaru.

"You can't escape, you filthy bastard!"

Green was so amused by what he saw that his legs went weak. This girl was too ruthless; that meteor hammer could probably blow someone to pieces.

Rem in her demon form looks exactly like an armed helicopter from a certain game, "Knights of Metsubou".

"We still need to do something, otherwise Natsuki Subaru will be offline!"

With a thought, Green began to channel his magic and use Transfiguration.

His face gradually contorted, eventually transforming into the likeness of Subaru Natsuki.

With a click, Green, wearing Subaru Natsuki's face, pushed open the door, poked his head out, and shouted into the adjacent room, "Haha, I'm here!"

Rem turned and glared at Grin, then yelled, "You idiot Grin, go back to sleep!"

"Huh? Okay!"

Green was startled and immediately pulled his head back.

Two or three seconds later, he stretched it out again, but this time it had returned to its original form.

"I feel like everyone can see through my shapeshifting! Just like someone's 'Hand That Can See Anyone'."

Rem turned her head, her eyes scanning every corner of Subaru's room like radar.

"Rem has heard about Grin-kun's abilities from her sister, and you don't have any witch's miasma on you, so please step down, Grin-kun, before Rem loses her way."

At this point, Rem wasn't completely out of control and still retained some semblance of rationality.

"Found you!"

Rem's nostrils twitched as she caught the scent of miasma; her senses were incredibly sharp after her demon transformation.

The meteor hammer in her hand spun like a propeller before finally being thrown towards the corner of the room.

call out!

Rem's force was so great that it made a whistling sound even in the narrow space.

"Ah! Help, Master!"

The magic mirror immediately lost its power and shrunk back to its original size.

Two large hands, formed from concentrated magic, emerged from the mirror and narrowly caught the incoming meteor hammer.

Subaru Natsuki's figure also became visible, and he quickly called for help from Green.

This guest must be the guard mentioned in the intelligence report!

"Godfather, save me!"

The magic mirror, having escaped death, flew to Subaru Natsuki's head and struck him with a hammer.

"Damn it, didn't I tell you to get out of my way if someone attacks you?! Did I?! Are you trying to kill me?!"

With each sentence spoken, the Magic Mirror would deliver a sharp blow to Subaru Natsuki.

That meteor hammer, as big as a bowl, almost hit him in the face.

Rem frowned and coldly said to Grin, "Grin-kun, as a guard, you should prioritize the safety of the mansion. Are you really going to side with the Witch Cultists?"

"Calm down, Rem, calm down. As far as I know, this guy isn't a witch cultist."

Grimm walked into the corridor, and although he was trying to persuade Rem, he kept a safe distance from her.

"For the safety of my sister and the mansion, it's better to kill the innocent than let the guilty go free."

"You probably know I know a little bit about divination, right? I've done the calculations, and this guy is just an unlucky fellow who's been entangled by a witch's aura."

Green, without changing his expression, tried to calm Rem down.

Occasionally, people with a witch-like aura will appear on the mainland, but they have nothing to do with the witch cult.

Unfortunately, Rem in this state is no longer capable of thinking.

"Shut up, shut up!"

Rem held her head in her hands, fiddling with her soft hair.

"Killing this guy would end it all! Why bother with anything else!"

With a flick of her wrist, the chain swung back with a clang, and the hammerhead hovered behind her shoulder again, like a ferocious beast ready to pounce at any moment.

Subaru and the Magic Mirror were terrified. They huddled together, trembling, and looked at Grin with pleading eyes.

"Owner!"

"Godfather!"

"Shut up, all of you!"

Green stood in the middle of the corridor, his thin pajamas fluttering in the wind.

His eyes were cold, and a ball of pitch-black magic was gathering in his hand.

"Shadow Devour!"

The magic erupted, transforming into countless malevolent shadows that surged towards Rem, instantly engulfing her.

boom!boom!

The sound of chains being swung rang out, and the gathering shadows were constantly scattered, turning into black mist after letting out a mournful cry.

Rem's figure slowly emerged from the darkness, her hand gripping the flail tightly, blue flames burning in her eyes.

The next moment, Rem moved.

Her speed was so fast it almost tore through the air, and her meteor hammer, with the force of cleaving through the air, aimed straight for Green's head.

Instead of retreating, Grimm advanced, tapping his toes on the ground. The shadow below suddenly expanded, transforming into countless black tentacles that entangled Rem.

"Slowing down the restraints!"

The attack was highly effective; both Rem's body and the flail in her hand were entangled in mid-air by the tentacles that shot out from the wall.

Grimm seized the opportunity, exerted force with both legs, and rushed towards Rem at lightning speed.

Rem stared intently at Grin, veins bulging on her arms and legs as she gathered her strength to try and break free of her restraints.

"Snap, snap!"

Rem's right hand broke free, and with a sudden burst of strength, she pulled the flail back, then aimed at Grimm and hurled it with all her might.

boom!

This attack was even accompanied by a sonic boom, which was enough to show the power it contained.

Green flipped in the air, narrowly avoiding the attack.

Before he even landed, he used Transfiguration again.

A purplish-black magic enveloped him, perfectly replicating Ram's appearance before he landed.

"Rem, haven't you had enough?!"

The older sister's stern shout made Rem, who was in a daze, freeze for a moment.

Green seized the opportunity and finally closed in on Rem.

He then raised his hand and pressed it against Rem's mouth, stuffing the little thing he had hidden in his palm into her mouth.

He only let go and stepped back after seeing Rem swallow.

"How does it taste, Rem? I extracted the crystals from a whole bunch of alpine lily of the valley roots, and I even added a little brown sugar in case you weren't used to it."

Green took back all the broken lily of the valley flowers from that bottle.

He secretly fiddled with the crystal in the room and produced a crystal containing paralyzing toxin.

That tea set by the bedside is probably no longer suitable for drinking tea.

"Grin... how dare you impersonate my sister!"

Rem's eyes flashed with fire, as if she wanted to tear Grimm apart.

Thump, thump!

Her heart rate and body temperature suddenly began to rise, and the toxin crystals began to dissolve and take effect in Rem's stomach.

Damn!

Rem used all her strength to contract her limbs, finally tearing off all the tentacles that were wrapped around her.

As soon as she landed, she stretched out her right fist and punched herself in the stomach.
