Tanggu Valley is located on the shore of the East China Sea.

This is where the Fusang tree grows, and also where the Golden Crow dwells. Normally, Dijun keeps this place surrounded like an iron barrel, afraid that something might happen to these ten precious darlings.

But today, this iron bucket has a hole in it.

A furtive figure, dressed in a tattered Taoist robe with a conspicuous patch on the back of his pants, was cautiously scurrying into Tang Valley.

This person was none other than Zhunti.

The fire burning inside him was fiercer than the sun in Tang Valley. He was furious, his teeth itching with rage, remembering how that mad dog had bitten his buttocks at the gates of the underworld and wouldn't let go, until his senior brother, the guide, had to take a claw attack to drag him away.

"Lin Xuan... the Witch Clan..." Zhunti cursed inwardly as he reached inside, "You've made me lose face so badly, this isn't over. You want peace and quiet? I won't let you have any peace!"

He transformed into a kind-faced old demon, leaning on a cane, and slowly swayed to the hibiscus tree.

On the tree, ten little golden crows were rolling around bored.

"Oh dear, when will this ever end!" The Great Golden Crow sighed, flames leaping wildly from its body. "Father won't let us go out to play, we're stuck on this broken tree all day, I'm practically turning into mold."

"That's right!" The tenth golden crow was the smallest and also the most mischievous. "I want to go to the primordial land to see it. I heard there are lots of delicious foods there, and lots of fun two-legged creatures."

Upon hearing this, Zhunti's lips curled into a sinister smile.

The opportunity is here.

He coughed deliberately: "Ahem, Your Highnesses, what a fine time you're in!"

"Who's there?" The giant golden crow looked over warily. "Where did you come from, you old monster? How did you get in?"

Zhunti chuckled, "I am an old turtle spirit from the East Sea, here especially to amuse you princes. I heard you princes wish to travel to the prehistoric world?"

"I want to!" Ten Golden Crows' eyes lit up. "Old tortoise, do you have a way?"

"There is a way, of course," Zhunti lowered his voice, adopting a mysterious air. "Actually, the restrictions set up by His Majesty the Heavenly Emperor have recently loosened. Moreover, I heard that there's a giant from the Wu tribe named Kuafu who boasts all day long that the sun is nothing but a fart, that he could blow it out with a single breath. Can you princes, with your unparalleled divine might, tolerate this?"

"What?!" The Great Golden Crow exploded upon hearing this. "Where is that Kuafu? How dare he look down on us?"

"It's in the northern part of the prehistoric world." Zhunti pointed in a direction, which was the location of the Kuafu tribe. "As long as all the princes go out together and teach him a lesson, I'm sure His Majesty the Heavenly Emperor will praise you for growing up and bringing glory to the demon race."

These little golden crows are spoiled rotten and don't have much of a brain. When they heard this, they all got excited and shouted.

"Let's go! Brothers! Let's roast that Kuafu into jerky!"

As he watched the ten golden crows break through the barrier he had tampered with and fly noisily toward the prehistoric continent, the kindness on Zhunti's face vanished instantly, replaced by a sinister expression.

"Go, go! Burn Kuafu to death, enrage the Wu tribe. When the war between the Wu and the demons breaks out, let's see what mind you, Lin Xuan, will have left for romance!"

……

Meanwhile, Shouyang Mountain is the ancestral home of the human race.

This place is completely different from the sweltering heat of Tanggu; it's full of the warmth and life of everyday people.

Lin Xuan held Nuwa's hand as they walked along the village path.

Both of them concealed their divine aura and presence, appearing as an ordinary young couple visiting relatives. Of course, they were the kind of couple with ridiculously high looks.

Nuwa was initially a little stiff, her palms sweating. When had she, a sage, ever been led around the streets like this?

"Goddess Nuwa, relax." Lin Xuan sensed her tension and gently stroked the back of her hand with his fingers. "We're on an incognito visit right now. If you act all high and mighty, these human children won't dare approach you."

Just then, a group of little kids dressed in animal skins came running over, laughing and joking.

"Big brother, big sister, you are so handsome!" A little girl blinked her big eyes, holding a string of freshly roasted wild berries in her hand. "Here, have some."

Nuwa was taken aback.

Beyond the Thirty-Three Heavens, the children who saw her knelt on the ground, trembling, not daring to lift their heads. This pure, unreverent closeness stirred a soft spot in her heart.

She knelt down, took the fruit, and awkwardly patted the little girl's head: "Thank you."

"You're welcome!" The little girl smiled, revealing her gums with two missing front teeth. "Big sister, you look just like our revered Holy Mother!"

Nuwa's heart skipped a beat.

Lin Xuan, smiling, chimed in, "Really? Then tell me, is the Holy Mother better, or this older sister?"

"Either is fine!" The little girl thought for a moment, "but the Holy Mother is a clay statue, she can't smile. This big sister can smile, so the big sister is better."

Nuwa's eyes suddenly felt a little hot.

She stood up and looked at the central square of the tribe not far away. There stood two huge stone statues.

One of them is her, with a human head and a snake's body, and a compassionate face.

The other figure is Lin Xuan, standing beside her, holding a gourd vine in his hand, his eyes resolute.

The two stone statues stood very close together, their shoulders almost touching. Beneath the statues, fresh fruits and meat were laid out, and incense smoke wafted through the air.

"Look," Lin Xuan pointed to the two stone statues, "in their hearts, we are one family."

family.

These three words struck Nuwa's heart like a heavy hammer.

She turned to look at Lin Xuan. Sunlight shone on his face, making his somewhat roguish smile appear exceptionally warm.

"Lin Xuan..."

Lin Xuan interrupted her, tightening his grip on her hand. "You can call me husband, I don't mind."

Nuwa's face flushed red instantly, and she glared at him reproachfully: "You're so frivolous."

But this time, she didn't pull her hand back.

The two stood side by side in front of the stone statue, watching the wisps of smoke rising from the human tribe's chimneys and listening to the distant sounds of roosters crowing and dogs barking.

At this moment, all notions of saintly majesty and calamity-based calculations were cast to the winds.

"This feeling is wonderful," Nuwa murmured.

Lin Xuan was overjoyed.

On the system panel, the favorability rating was fluctuating wildly.

[Ding! Nuwa's favorability +0.5%. Current favorability: 98.5%.]

So close!

Lin Xuan's eyes darted around, and he had an idea.

Just admiring the scenery isn't enough; we need some drastic measures.

"Goddess Nuwa, there are too many people here, let's go somewhere else." Lin Xuan leaned close to Nuwa's ear, his warm breath brushing against her sensitive earlobe. "I'll show you something good."

Nuwa's body went limp, and she almost lost her balance.

"Where...where to?"

"East Sea," Lin Xuan smiled mysteriously, "I've prepared a grand show for you."
