Haicheng No. 2 Machinery Factory.

Lin Chang'an arrived at the door on his motorcycle.

The gate of the Second Machinery Plant was wide open. The security guard at the gatehouse saw that it was Lin Chang'an, but only glanced at him and did not stop him.

Lin Chang'an rode his motorcycle directly to the workshop entrance, stopped, took out the key, put it in his pocket, and walked straight into the workshop.

The workshop was filled with the roar of machines and the pungent smell of machine oil and iron filings.

As soon as he entered, workshop foreman Guo Jinmin saw him, his face instantly darkening. He stood there with his hands on his hips, and reprimanded him in an unfriendly tone:

"Lin Chang'an, I've already told your third uncle. The factory has already notified you that you're fired. What are you still doing here?"

"I'm not here to work."

Lin Chang'an spoke calmly, not intending to argue with him further, "I'm here to get my things."

Guo Jinmin waved his hand, "Alright, then hurry up and get it, and leave as soon as you're done. Don't linger in the workshop."

Lin Chang'an didn't say anything more, and turned to walk towards the changing room in the corner of the workshop.

The changing room was filled with a damp, musty smell, and rows of metal lockers leaned crookedly against the wall.

He quickly found the cabinet he had used before, took the key out of his pocket, and inserted it into the lock, only to find that the key wouldn't turn at all.

Lin Chang'an found it strange. He picked it up and took a look. It was a new lock, not his own.

"Who changed my lock?" Lin Chang'an felt a surge of anger.

Changing the lock means that the cabinet is now being used by someone else.

He tugged hard at the cabinet door, but the metal cabinet didn't budge.

Lin Chang'an took a deep breath, suppressed his anger, turned around and walked out of the locker room, and found Guo Jinmin again.

"Director Guo, is my cabinet being used by someone else?" Lin Chang'an asked bluntly.

Guo Jinmin was giving instructions to a worker when he heard this. He looked up and said in a flat tone, "Oh, your locker? The factory redistributed the lockers yesterday. You've already been fired, so the locker naturally needs to be made available for the workers still on duty."

"What about what's inside me?" Lin Chang'an's tone turned cold.

His closet was actually filled with work clothes, which weren't worth much, but there was a watch in it, the only memento his father had left him.

After arranging the work, Guo Jinmin said, "The cabinets should have been assigned to Li Zheng. Just ask him directly; he should be the one who tidied them up."

Lin Chang'an clenched his fists, suppressing his anger, and scanned the workshop before spotting Li Zheng.

"Li Zheng!" Lin Chang'an walked over, trying to keep his tone calm.

Li Zheng looked up and saw Lin Chang'an. He paused for a moment, then his face showed impatience: "Lin Chang'an? What are you still here for? Weren't you fired?"

"You're using my cabinet now, right?" Lin Chang'an didn't waste any more words with him.

"Yeah, so what?" Li Zheng raised an eyebrow at him, his tone slightly provocative.

"Where are the things in my cabinet?" Lin Chang'an stared into his eyes.

"What is it?"

Li Zheng thought for a moment, then said nonchalantly, "Oh, it's just those few tattered clothes and a bunch of junk inside. I threw them in the trash can."

"Throw it away?"

Lin Chang'an's eyes instantly turned cold, and a violent aura emanated from him.

Li Zheng shuddered at Lin Chang'an's gaze and instinctively took a step back: "What do you want to do? It's all junk, just throw it away."

"You just throw my stuff away like that?"

Lin Chang'an suddenly stepped forward, grabbed Li Zheng by the collar, and lifted him up like a chick.

Li Zheng was less than 1.7 meters tall and weighed less than 100 kilograms, so he had no power to resist Lin Chang'an.

"What...what do you want to do? This is a factory, how dare you hit someone?" Li Zheng struggled and shouted.

Lin Chang'an didn't waste any words with him. With a flick of his arm, he threw Li Zheng away.

A muffled "bang" was heard.

Li Zheng fell heavily onto the cement floor of the workshop, wincing in pain and unable to get up for a long time.

This caused quite a commotion; the roar of the machines in the workshop stopped instantly, and all the workers gathered around.

Guo Jinmin also rushed over. Seeing Li Zheng lying on the ground, and then looking at Lin Chang'an's angry face, he frowned and said with a hint of helplessness:

"Lin Chang'an! Why did you resort to violence? Let's talk this out!"

Lin Chang'an ignored Guo Jinmin, his gaze still fixed on Li Zheng on the ground.

Just then, several young people in work clothes squeezed out of the crowd, led by a tall man with a fierce face.

When he saw Li Zheng fall to the ground, he rushed over and helped Li Zheng up.

"Brother, Lin Chang'an hit me!" Li Zheng shouted, baring his teeth.

The man glared fiercely at Lin Chang'an: "You dare hit my brother?!"

"Li Jun, your brother threw away my things," Lin Chang'an said coldly.

Li Jun raised an eyebrow and looked Lin Chang'an up and down: "So what if I throw your things? You dare to hit my brother? You're asking for trouble."

Lin Chang'an clenched his fist, his eyes gleaming.

"How dare you look at me like that?" Li Jun glared angrily and kicked Lin Chang'an.

People around quickly moved aside, afraid of being caught in the crossfire.

Lin Chang'an did not dodge, but just watched as the other person's foot kicked towards his chest. Just as it was about to touch him, he turned to the side, grabbed the other person's leg with both hands, and pushed him away. The other person lost his footing, stumbled, and almost fell over.

"You son of a bitch!" Li Jun roared in fury, turning around and punching Lin Chang'an on the head with a fist the size of a sandbag.

Lin Chang'an also clenched his fists and rushed forward.

Guo Jinmin was alarmed. If something happened in the workshop, he, as the workshop director, would probably be criticized again. He quickly advised, "Don't hit him, don't do it, let's talk it out, let's talk it out..."

Before he could finish speaking, he suddenly froze, only to see Li Jun being knocked down by Lin Chang'an in two blows, falling to his feet like a bear.

"I thought you were so great, you've got nothing but a big frame. Kid, you can't even fight, can you?" Lin Chang'an stomped on the other man's back and spat.

Li Jun struggled to stand up, but Lin Chang'an's feet felt like they weighed a ton, making it impossible for him to move.

"If you fucking dare to get me up, I'll kill you."

"All he's got left is his stubbornness," Lin Chang'an cursed.

At this moment, a few people who were good friends with Li Jun wanted to come up and help him, but seeing Lin Chang'an's arrogant appearance, they thought that if Li Jun was no match for him, they should not act tough and risk getting beaten up.

Lin Chang'an glanced at the people around him who wanted to come up, his eyes sweeping across the crowd, and suddenly his gaze fell on a girl.

When the girl saw Lin Chang'an looking over with a look of disgust, she turned and left.

Lin Chang'an frowned. What was she doing here?
