The gamblers who lost money were cursing and shouting "Give me back my money!" and "Liar!"

The scene inside the room suddenly became chaotic.

Several henchmen who were guarding the place managed to quell the chaos in the crowd.

Lin Chang'an smoked a cigarette, smiling as he looked at Tiger, as if the chaos before him had nothing to do with him.

He picked up the gemstone chain and put it back around his neck.

Tiger looked at the chaotic scene of gamblers around him, who were talking amongst themselves, and he knew that his gamble was doomed.

At this moment, several gamblers who had lost everything went crazy and rushed to the table to grab money, but were stopped by his underlings.

Tiger's gaze was fixed on Lin Chang'an, his eyes filled with resentment and madness: "Kid, you're here to cause trouble on purpose! You dare ruin my place? I'll make sure you come in upright and leave horizontal!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than he shouted to the men guarding the place, "Cripple this kid."

At his shout, several henchmen pulled out steel pipes and wooden sticks and approached Lin Chang'an menacingly.

When the gamblers who had been watching the commotion realized that things were not going well, they quickly ran out, fearing that they would be implicated. Only a few who had lost so much money remained inside.

Lin Chang'an looked up at the thugs approaching him, took a deep drag on his cigarette, and saw one of the thugs raise a stick and hit him on the shoulder.

He leaned forward and instantly flipped the table over.

Immediately afterwards, he raised his hand and blocked the arm of the henchman in front, clenched his fist, and punched the man under the armpit. Instantly, the stick in the man's hand fell to the ground with a clatter, his arm drooped down, and he screamed in pain.

Seeing this, the other henchmen cursed and rushed over, grabbing steel pipes and wooden sticks.

Lin Chang'an remained calm and composed. He dodged a wooden stick to the side and delivered a precise side kick, striking his underling squarely in the chest.

The underling flew out like a tattered sack, crashed heavily into the wall, and slid to the ground where he remained motionless.

Two of them fell within seconds, and the remaining two henchmen were clearly panicked. Their already chaotic fighting became even more disorganized.

Lin Chang'an sneered, grabbed the table behind him, and flipped it over violently. The heavy card table, along with the debris on it, was smashed towards his two henchmen.

With a loud "bang," the card table crashed to the ground and shattered into pieces. The two henchmen, unable to dodge in time, were hit and howled in pain, dropping their weapons to the ground.

In just thirty seconds, all four henchmen were knocked to the ground, their cries of pain echoing throughout.

The few remaining gamblers looked at each other, their eyes filled with shock and awe.

Seeing how easily the fierce-looking thugs were defeated by this young man, his skills were terrifying!

Tiger's face changed, turning from anger to deathly pale.

He never expected that the man in front of him would be so fierce. His underlings were all taken down without even touching a single finger of the man.

"Who...who exactly are you?"

Tiger asked in a trembling voice, his steps involuntarily taking a step back.

Lin Chang'an didn't throw away his cigarette the whole time. He flicked the ash off his cigarette, didn't answer his question, and just walked towards him step by step. The coldness in his eyes made Tiger Brother's skin crawl.

"Don't come any closer! Don't come any closer!" Tiger shouted as he backed away, retreating into the inner room and closing the door.

A mocking smile curled at the corner of Lin Chang'an's lips.

The underling on the ground was still groaning. He kicked him, and the underling rolled like a ball to the door of the inner room, hitting the door with a dull thud.

"Clang!"

The door panel shook slightly from the impact.

Lin Chang'an kicked the door open and saw Tiger Brother pulling out a gleaming machete from under the table.

"You little brat, if you dare come any closer, I'll fucking kill you."

Tiger gripped the machete tightly with both hands, the tip pointing at Lin Chang'an. Although he spoke fiercely, he stood still.

Seeing this, Lin Chang'an not only didn't stop, but slowly walked into the house.

He plopped down on the sofa, crossed his legs, and said in a relaxed tone, "I'm so scared."

This arrogant attitude completely enraged Tiger, but it also made him even more terrified.

Having been in the underworld for many years, he could tell that this man was ruthless and skilled. Even with a knife in his hand, he couldn't be sure if he could defeat him.

Lin Chang'an stubbed out his cigarette on the leather sofa, his tone turning cold again:

"Now that you've already found the knife, are you going to chop off your own hand, or should I do it for you?"

Tiger looked at Lin Chang'an's cold eyes and slammed his knife on the table: "Brother, I admit defeat today. I'll return every penny to you."

Lin Chang'an smiled but didn't say anything, only raising his eyebrows.

Tiger took out several stacks of cash and placed them on the table.

"Here's a total of 25,000. The 20,000 I won from you earlier, plus the 5,000 from this afternoon, are all here."

Lin Chang'an glanced at it, but didn't move, rubbing his chin.

Seeing this, Tiger felt a chill in his heart and took out another stack of papers and placed them on the table.

"I'll give you another five thousand, making it thirty thousand in total. Brother, let's call this off for now, okay?"

Lin Chang'an smiled, seemingly quite satisfied, but still shook his head, stood up, and walked towards Brother Tiger.

Tiger's heart tightened, his grip on the machete tightened, and his face instantly darkened.

"Brother, don't push your luck! If you really push me too far, we'll fight to the death, and nobody's going to get away with it!"

As he spoke, he held the knife horizontally in front of his chest, shifted his feet slightly, and assumed a fairly standard fighting stance.

Tiger has some real skills to have survived in this place for so long; he's not just relying on his underlings to keep up appearances.

Lin Chang'an didn't stop, continuing to slowly approach.

Tiger gritted his teeth, no longer hesitating, and swung his knife at Lin Chang'an's shoulder. The blade whistled through the air, and his strike was swift and ruthless.

However, Lin Chang'an was faster, dodging the blade by sidestepping it while simultaneously striking Tiger's elbow with his hand.

Tiger felt a sudden pain and numbness, let out a muffled groan, his knife strike faltered, and he fell to the ground.

He reacted quickly, clenching his other hand into a fist and smashing it towards Lin Chang'an's face.

Lin Chang'an tilted his head, his fist grazing past his ear, and his knee slammed into Tiger's stomach.

"Well!"

Tiger screamed in pain as a sharp pain shot through his stomach, draining all his strength. He raised his foot and kicked Lin Chang'an in the groin.

Lin Chang'an didn't give him a chance. He pushed Tiger Brother down onto the table and then picked up the machete from the ground, aiming it at Tiger Brother's right hand.

"Do you fucking know whose people I work for? I'm Xi Tianliang's man!"

Tiger was pinned down and unable to move. Seeing the knife about to fall into his hand, he roared in desperation, "If you dare touch me, Master Xi will never let you get away with it!"

Upon hearing this, Lin Chang'an paused, raised an eyebrow, and uttered a soft "Oh?"

Hearing his reaction, Tiger assumed he was scared, and a glimmer of hope ignited in his heart. He said, "Good! Hurry up and let me go, and I'll pretend this never happened..."

Before he could finish speaking, Lin Chang'an said in a deep voice, "Even if you were the Emperor himself, it wouldn't matter!"

He lowered his wrist and brought the knife down!

"ah--!"
