"I'm sorry, Grandma."

Lu Yu abruptly withdrew his hand, and the true power within his body surged forth, its chilling sharpness piercing through the sweet, honey-like warmth around him. The old house before him resembled a sheet of rice paper dampened by rain, its edges beginning to twist and wrinkle, and fine water droplets seeped from the walls of the main room, meandering down the cracks between the bricks.

Grandma's figure swayed, the smile on her lips froze into a stiff arc, her voice was still gentle, but it had lost some of its vitality, like a dusty old record: "Xiaoyu, what's wrong? The ribs on the stove won't taste good if they get cold."

"This isn't real." Lu Yu gritted his teeth, the power of reality within him piercing through the illusion. "My grandmother won't let me indulge in falsehood."

As soon as he finished speaking, the old house shattered into countless tiny specks of light, revealing the underlying color of "Worry-Free Wonderland." He glanced down at the pale gold bracelet on his wrist, which was displaying "Points: 87," indicating that the points were being consumed faster than he had anticipated.

Lu Yu steadied himself, his gaze sweeping over the illusory sea woven from obsession. He strode quickly toward the depths of the void, wielding his light blade to cleave a path half a foot wide in front of him, forcing back the illusions that tried to entangle him once again.

Not long after walking, an art gallery made entirely of glass came into view.

The exterior walls of the exhibition hall reflected the colorful glow of the sunset, and the glazed walls shattered the sunlight, turning it into colorful fireflies. The banner hanging at the entrance was gilded like molten lava, and the five characters "Su Wan Solo Art Exhibition" shone brightly. The three characters "Lu Yu Ti" at the end were written in a style that was exactly the same as his usual handwriting.

The light inside the building spilled out through the glass, warm and cozy, carrying the subtle fragrance of turpentine and mineral pigments—the very scent unique to Su Wan.

Lu Yu pushed open the door and entered; the scene inside made his heart tighten.

The walls on both sides of the exhibition hall are covered with Su Wan's paintings.

The painting on the left, "Star Trails Weaving Dreams," depicts a deep blue night sky adorned with flowing stars, their trails interwoven like a spiderweb. The silvery light of spiritual power flows through the inky sky, subtly reflecting her ability to perceive all things.

The painting on the right, "Fragments of Ancient Architecture," depicts an ancient temple with upturned eaves half-hidden in the morning mist. The texture of the bricks and tiles is so delicate that you can see the damp, bluish-gray color of the moss, revealing her secret longing for peace and stability.

The central painting, "The Realm of Breaking Illusion," is even more stunning. Half of the painting is a viscous, dark purple texture, while the other half is a pale golden light of real power. The two forces collide and tear at each other in the center of the canvas, with a sharpness that tears through illusion, much like her past when she fought alongside Lu Yu.

On the high platform in the center of the exhibition hall, Su Wan, dressed in a moon-white silk satin dress with a white camellia tucked behind her ear, was gazing intently at the canvas. Her brush moved fluently across the canvas, sketching a new work—the boy in the painting had gentle features and was leaning over to watch her paint; he resembled Lu Yu.

And standing next to her was indeed a "Lu Yu".

The man named "Lu Yu" was wearing a well-fitting off-white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms, revealing his strong wrists. His eyes and brows held just the right amount of gentleness, and the corners of his mouth held the appreciative smile that Su Wan longed for most.

He leaned down slightly, whispering in Su Wan's ear, his voice as light as a feather: "The tension in the central painting, 'The Realm of Breaking Illusion,' is simply amazing. You hid the tearing between reality and illusion in the density of the brushstrokes—the brushstrokes on the pale gold side are as hard as blades, while those on the dark purple side are as dense as a net. This kind of subtle confrontation is so moving."

Su Wan's cheeks flushed slightly, her earlobes were bright red, her fingers trembled slightly as she held the paintbrush, and her eyes were filled with infatuation and longing. She looked up at "Lu Yu," her voice as soft as a sigh: "Really? I was always afraid that this kind of abstract expression was too obscure, that no one would understand..."

"How could that be?" The fake Lu Yu raised his hand and gently brushed the stray hairs from her forehead. The movement was natural and intimate, and his fingertips carried just the right amount of warmth as they brushed against her cheek. "Your paintings contain your perceptions, and those who understand you will naturally understand them. Just like the painting on the left, 'Star Trails Weaving Dreams,' others only see the beauty of the starry sky, but I know that those intertwined silver rays are your tenderness in wanting to touch the world; those blank spaces in the dark night are the unease you hide in your heart."

On a sofa in the corner of the exhibition hall sat a middle-aged couple, Su Wan's parents. Su's father was wearing a well-pressed suit, a rare sight for him, and the weariness from his long-distance driving was softened by the pride in his eyes; Su's mother wore an elegant dress, and even the fine lines around her eyes were filled with smiles.

Su's mother smiled and nodded, her voice as soft as cotton, filled with undisguised joy: "Wanwan, Xiaoyu is right, your talent has finally been recognized, and now there are people who understand you so well. I'm so happy for you."

These words were like precise keys, piercing Su Wan's deepest longing. Her eyes instantly reddened, tears welled up in her eyes, her hand holding the paintbrush loosened, and she unconsciously leaned closer to "Lu Yu," her voice choked with emotion: "No one has ever understood me like this before..."

"I will always understand you." The fake Lu Yu squatted down to look her in the eye, his gaze so focused that it seemed as if she were the only person left in the world. His tone was extremely serious, like making an eternal vow.

"We'll stay here forever. I'll stay with you in the studio, accompany you as you paint all the landscapes you want to paint, and watch you be admired by people all over the world, okay? No one will ever say you're 'useless' again, there will be no more ghosts, no more danger, only your beloved paintbrush and recognition."

His fingertips gently covered Su Wan's hand holding the paintbrush. His movements were so gentle they could melt water, yet they exuded an undeniable strength. The smile at the corner of his eyes was perfect, without a single flaw.

"Su Wan!"

A cold, golden light suddenly pierced the warm light of the exhibition hall, slashing like a sharp blade at the hand that was about to touch the paintbrush. But it seemed to pierce into water, only creating a faint golden ripple, without causing any damage.

The real Lu Yu's voice pierced through the sweet illusion, carrying an urgent certainty. Each word struck the ephemeral nature of the illusion, filled with anxious pleading: "Su Wan, wake up! This isn't real! He's fake!"

The exhibition hall trembled violently, ripples spreading across the glass walls. The fake Lu Yu swayed, the gentleness on his face vanishing instantly, replaced by a layer of icy hostility, as if covered in frost. His tone suddenly sharpened: "Who are you? What right do you have to trespass here and ruin Wanwan's happiness?"

Su Wan suddenly looked up and saw the real Lu Yu at the door. Her eyes instantly panicked, like a child whose secret had been exposed. She subconsciously hid behind the fake Lu Yu.

"I am Lu Yu!" The real Lu Yu strode forward. "Su Wan, look at me! We hid from the enforcers together at the auto repair shop, and you grabbed a brick to help me out; we fought against the phantoms together in the mall, and you even warned me to be careful before you collapsed from exhaustion; when you awakened your psychic powers, the silver light at your fingertips shone like stars!"

The fake Lu Yu slowly stood up, a smile playing on his lips that was identical to the real Lu Yu's:

"What nonsense are you spouting? I've always been with Wanwan. When she was painting 'Star Trails Weaving Dreams,' I stayed with her on the rooftop until dawn, counting stars and recording the trajectory of each star trail. When she was painting 'Ancient Building Remnants,' I accompanied her through old streets and temples, squatting in a corner to collect the finest moss samples for her. When she was painting 'The Realm of Breaking Illusion,' I sat with her on the stone steps, listening to her narrate her inner confusion. And you, trying to steal Wanwan's happiness by imitating me?"

"Happiness?" Lu Yu scoffed, the light blade spinning in his palm. "What kind of happiness is a dream woven from illusion?"

Su Wan trembled slightly.

The fake Lu Yu's voice rose a few decibels: "Wanwan, don't listen to him! He's just jealous of our happiness and wants to destroy everything! Look, he's holding a weapon, and his eyes are so fierce. How could he be sincere towards you?"

Su's father stood up, walked to the fake Lu Yu, and looked at the real Lu Yu with a furrowed brow: "Young man, we don't know who you are, but Wanwan has had a tough time all these years. She finally found someone who understands her, so why are you here to cause trouble?"

Su's mother nodded in agreement, her tone filled with the urgency of protecting her daughter: "Yes, Wanwan is introverted. It's her good fortune to have met someone as considerate as Xiaoyu. Please don't hurt Wanwan's feelings."

Su Wan's body trembled slightly, her shoulders shrugged, and her eyes darted between the two "Lu Yu" characters, like a lost bird.
