A gunshot rang out, and Wang Jiafu's mind went blank.

A sharp pain shot through him, and Tang Qiao, his face contorted in agony, gripped Su Han's arm as electric current surged through him.

Su Han lost control of her limbs and bones in an instant. Without uttering a sound, she straightened her body and fell down, her whole body numb and struggling to breathe.

Tang Qiao's superpowers were not enough to kill an adult directly, so he raised the gun with his uninjured hand and aimed it at Su Han.

Su Han stared intently at Tang Qiao, desperately trying to use her dagger to block the gunshot, but she couldn't even lift a single finger.

The door was kicked open at that moment.

"Grab him!"

Before Tang Qiao could resist, a metal whip lashed him hard. Electricity surged through his body along the whip, and Tang Qiao's vision went black as he convulsed and collapsed to the ground.

Li Tiangan then appeared in Su Han's sight, panting heavily.

Several other superhumans were following behind Li Tiangan, and their hearts sank when they saw the scene.

"Are you fucking crazy? You've gone and started fighting Tang Qiao all by yourself?!" Li Tiangan helped Su Han sit up.

Li Tiangan understood immediately and had someone bring over Tang Qiao's fanny pack.

Su Han clutched her fanny pack tightly in her hand, leaned on Li Tianqian's shoulder for a while to catch her breath, and finally managed to speak, "Why did you come here?"
