Two men entered the restaurant, dressed in the uniforms of the Fuxing Base, and drenched in sweat.

Su Han recognized them; they were the team that Cheng Ruoyan had brought back to the Fuxing Base.

He lowered his head slightly to avoid being recognized.

The group sat down and ordered a table full of dishes. Several more teammates then walked in from outside, quickly filling the small restaurant.

"I'm so sleepy. I need to finish eating and go back to sleep. I haven't slept all day driving. Damn it, I'm so sleepy I can only grit my teeth and bear it. I don't even have a cigarette."

"Didn't we bring back some cigarettes this time? Why don't you ask Miss Cheng for two cartons?"

"Probably not, there are only a few cartons of cigarettes left." The man glanced cautiously towards the door, lowering his voice, "Cheng Gaolang has such a heavy smoking habit, how could he possibly leave any for us?"

He silently looked away, feigning ignorance: "What did you say? Where did this rumor come from? I... I believe you're not that kind of person..."

Several soldiers at the next table also noticed what was happening and looked on with amusement.

"Come back with me and explain?" Shen Chengyin asked with a forced smile.

Su Han swallowed the food in her mouth with difficulty, her lips glistening with oil.

"We can talk about this later, haha, I have something urgent to do later—hey, hey, hey! What are you doing?!"

Without another word, the man grabbed Su Han's arm and put his other arm around her waist, hoisting her onto his shoulder in two quick movements.

Su Han felt a sudden dizziness, and almost vomited up the food she had just swallowed.

Shen Chengyin strode towards the door, Su Han's stomach churning as he felt a chill on his shoulder.

The soldiers behind him clapped and cheered, and whistled several times.

Su Han clung to Shen Chengyin's back, patting his shoulder forcefully, breaking out in a sweat.
