Primordial Era: When a Good Guy Awakens a Morally Unethical System

Chapter 100: The Struggle Between Dao and Demon

If Rahu were to self-destruct with the twelfth-grade Black Lotus of Annihilation, it wouldn't just destroy the fragments of the Jade Tablet of Creation; the entire West would be ruined, and the primordial world would once again fall into desolation after the great calamity of ferocious beasts.

The Jade Tablet of Creation is connected to the power of the Heavenly Dao, and it is frantically urging Hongjun to stop Luo Hou. The Heavenly Dao is almost going crazy. He only wants to complete the Three Thousand Great Daos, not destroy half of the Primordial World!

Hongjun also tried his best to stop Luo Hou's self-destruction, while simultaneously attempting to persuade him to stop: "You can clearly live, why do you insist on courting death? You just took on a disciple, are you going to abandon him already?"

When Hongyun was mentioned, Luo Hou hesitated for a moment, which was noticed by Hongjun. Knowing that Luo Hou had become entangled in karma and had become bound by karma after taking on a disciple, Hongjun used Hongyun to soften Luo Hou's heart.

"Your disciple is exceptionally talented and quick to understand. After listening to my lecture just once, he broke through to the late stage of the Great Luo realm. He might even become a Heavenly Saint someday. But if you destroy half of the primordial world today, the many karmic debts will be incurred on his shoulders, and his path will be ruined!"

Luo Hou: "So what if it's ruined? If I'm a loser, he shouldn't have me as his master!"

Hongjun's gaze shifted to behind Luo Hou: "Hongyun?"

Luo Hou paused for a moment, then turned around to look.

It really was Hongyun, dressed in red, collapsed on the ground, coughing up mouthfuls of blood, looking at him anxiously: "Master~"

In that instant, Hongjun disregarded his own safety and rushed to his side, tightly grasping the Twelfth-Grade World-Destroying Black Lotus, successfully preventing Luo Hou's self-destruction.

Even though Rahu's power prevented him from successfully self-destructing, it still severely injured both of them, causing them to fall to the ground.

Looking in the direction they had just gone, Hongyun had vanished without a trace. Luo Hou, enraged, cursed, "Hongjun, you despicable scoundrel!"

Hongjun, panting heavily, stood up and sealed Rahu's magic: "I will not kill you, but I will also not allow you to wreak havoc on the primordial world!"

After meditating for a moment, Hongjun rose again, once more exuding an air of otherworldly grace that inspired awe. He tightly bound Luo Hou with a rope, then carried him back to the Thirty-Third Heaven.

On their journey, they passed by Longevity Mountain. Hongjun knew that Hongyun was there. Thinking of using Hongyun to distract Luohou during the fight, he used magic to transmit his voice to Hongyun, informing her that Luohou had been taken away by him.

Hongyun was indeed worried about their fight, and immediately stood up when she heard the telepathic message.

Zhen Yuanzi: "What is it?"

Hongyun was eager to share the good news, but the words wouldn't come out.

This must have been due to a restriction placed by Hongjun; if Hongyun could think of it, Zhenyuanzi could too. However, Zhenyuanzi was once again shocked by the strength and realm of Hongyun's master. In this vast primordial world, there must be countless powerful beings. With their current strength as Great Luo Golden Immortals, they really couldn't let their guard down.

Zhen Yuanzi: "If you can't say it, then there's no need to say it. I know what I'm doing."

Hongyun nodded, finally able to relax.

But his heart was even more uneasy. The fight between Luo Hou and Hong Jun was a battle between the Dao and the Demon, and the Heavenly Dao had ordained that one would gain the upper hand and the other would lose the upper hand. How could they shake hands and make peace in the end, and why did Luo Hou even go to the Thirty-Third Heaven with Hong Jun?

Could it be true that the theory in later fan fiction that Luo Hou is Hongjun's inner demon is correct?

But further speculation is useless. Now, all that's left is to wait for Hongjun to become a saint so he can go and check on things when he preaches at Zixiao Palace. Hongjun specifically told him where Rahu was, so presumably they don't have a deep-seated hatred. If he goes to listen to the sermon, he shouldn't be kicked out!
