Primordial Era: When a Good Guy Awakens a Morally Unethical System

Hongyun returned to her room dejectedly and rearranged her familiar belongings.

Zhen Yuanzi sighed, found some tools for refining weapons, opened a separate room for refining weapons, set up a barrier, and began to explore the way of weapon refining little by little.

People are born different, like Hongyun and Zhenyuanzi.

Before refining the weapon, Zhen Yuanzi took a series of precautions that Hong Yun had never considered. Hong Yun's act of blowing up the house was something Zhen Yuanzi couldn't easily accomplish even if he wanted to.

When Tongtian arrived, Zhen Yuanzi emerged from the weapon-refining room, already holding a hair ribbon made from phoenix feathers. Hongyun also came out of her room to greet Tongtian, and was hit by the hair ribbon that was thrown at her.

Hongyun grabbed the hairband and examined it closely. Her eyes gradually lit up with surprise, and she quickly caught up with him, saying, "You're so amazing! You learned it so quickly?"

"Did you receive some kind of stroke of luck that I don't know about?"

"It hasn't been that long, and I didn't even notice you were forging weapons. How did you learn it so quickly?"

"Why don't you just blow up the house?"

Hongyun's incessant chatter went unanswered, leaving her only with her own doubts.

Zhen Yuanzi used magic to open the gates of Wuzhuang Temple and welcomed Tongtian in: "Greetings, Fellow Daoist Tongtian."

Hongyun, disregarding his resentment, bowed respectfully to Zhen Yuanzi, saying, "Fellow Daoist Tongtian."

"Greetings, fellow Daoists," Tongtian said, bowing respectfully.

Hongyun and Tongtian exchanged a knowing smile; the two kindred spirits were tacitly happy to be together. Even if they couldn't think of anything they could do, they were certain they could.

"I only knew that Fellow Daoist Zhen Yuanzi had a ginseng fruit tree before, but I never expected that Wuzhuang Temple would have two of these rare innate spiritual roots. You two are truly fortunate." Tongtian praised as he walked in.

Hongyun glanced at Zhen Yuanzi, and seeing that Zhen Yuanzi didn't react, she boasted, "There aren't just two!"

Since Tongtian has already arrived at Wuzhuang Temple, the secret with the black jade plum blossoms can't be kept for long. Rather than letting Tongtian discover it himself and feel that they are intentionally hiding it, it's better to just tell him directly.

"Oh?" Tongtian was indeed intrigued.

Hongyun chuckled, "I also have a primordial spiritual root called Black Jade Plum. Its effects are slightly weaker than Ginseng Fruit and Yellow Plum, but it has the advantage of being plentiful, making it suitable for passing the time."

"It's a pity that it's not ripe enough for Fellow Daoist Tongtian to taste."

It's truly a pity. Hongyun was very willing to share the treasure with Tongtian, after all, Tongtian was very much to his liking and was one of the Three Pure Ones.

The Three Pure Ones, believing themselves to be the true descendants of Pangu, disdained getting involved in the conflicts between various races, making them virtually the most stable existence in the primordial world. Moreover, Tongtian was straightforward, loyal, and righteous; befriending Tongtian would be entirely beneficial.

Seeing Hongyun's generosity towards Tongtian, Zhen Yuanzi also spoke up, "Although the Black Jade Plum Blossoms are not yet ripe, the Ginseng Fruit will ripen in a hundred years. Why don't you stay at Wuzhuang Temple for a while, and bring back a few for the two fellow Daoists from Kunlun Mountain after the Ginseng Fruits ripen?"

This really struck a chord with Tongtian, and he was more than willing!

When he was discovered sneaking down the mountain last time, his second brother personally came to take him back, gave him a scolding, and then forced him into seclusion. After receiving a message from Hongyun, he finally managed to persuade his second brother to let him go down the mountain to visit friends. If Zhen Yuanzi and Hongyun hadn't both been extraordinary beings born from innate talents, his second brother would never have agreed.

Now that they've finally escaped, they naturally don't want to go back so soon.
