The only SSSS-level fertility constitution in the entire interstellar space

At four in the morning, in the huge conference hall of the highest federal government agency, the core area was lit up.

On either side of the curved table sat a dozen or so people, all of whom were figures who truly held core power in the Federation: leaders of major political parties, military veterans, ministers of important departments, as well as several prominent family heads and newly wealthy capitalists. Each of them had a face that revealed little emotion.

In the brief exchange of glances, an undercurrent of tension was palpable.

Before the parliamentary seats, presiding over this top-secret meeting was the Speaker of the Federal Parliament, an elderly man with gray hair and a vigorous face, named Chu Xiong.

On the screen behind him, a photo of Lu Yao was projected.

His gaze slowly swept over the crowd, his voice low but powerful.

"Everyone, this is an emergency call late at night. I'm sure you all know the reason from the briefing. Lu Yao, female, 18 years old, is participating in the walking marriage matchmaking for the first time. Yesterday, she was confirmed to have conceived naturally at the Central Hospital. She is about 4 and a half weeks pregnant, and preliminary tests show that she is carrying twins."

"Her fertility was tested by the Reproductive Technology Bureau and was initially assessed to exceed the existing 3S level standard. The specific level needs further confirmation, but it can be determined to be a 'god-level' fertility. This is the first and possibly only successful case of natural conception and twin pregnancy in the Federation in nearly 20 years."

After Chu Xiong finished speaking, his gaze swept over the crowd again.

Everyone was focused on the girl on the screen, and no one spoke to break the silence.

Although they had different intentions, neither of them clearly planned to be the first to reveal their purpose.

Chu Xiong continued: "Her current match is the eldest son of the Fu family, the youngest general in the history of the Federation."

As he spoke, his gaze swept over Fu Hongyi, who was sitting in the aristocratic area. Fu Hongyi had his eyes downcast and his face was expressionless, as if the person he was talking about had nothing to do with him.

"According to the investigation, General Fu is 28 years old and has an S-level gene. As we all know, the higher the gene level, the more difficult it is to conceive. However, if he successfully conceives, the child born will break through the upper limit of the S-level gene and become a new human. This is a conclusion drawn from research over the past few hundred years."

"Therefore," Speaker Chu Xiong paused, his voice becoming even more somber in the silent council chamber, "Miss Lu Yao's pregnancy not only signifies a breakthrough in overcoming fertility difficulties, but may also give birth to a 'new human' that surpasses the current genetic level limit. Its value is self-evident."

"Everyone, please feel free to share your opinions on this matter; let's begin the discussion."

After Chu Xiong finished speaking, he picked up the teacup beside him, took a sip of water, and gave the people time to speak freely.

A military elder in a dark blue uniform, bearing the rank of marshal, spoke in a deep voice: "Speaker Chu, is the information confirmed? Is the Bureau of Reproduction's testing absolutely reliable? A 'god-level' physique cannot be easily defined."

"I understand Marshal Xu's concerns." Chu Xiong put down his teacup. "The Reproduction Bureau used the highest-specification portable testing equipment, which resulted in the equipment being overloaded and damaged. So far, it can be confirmed as at least Super 3S level."

"I think that regardless of whether she is truly a god-level fertility expert, the fact that this lady successfully conceived an S-level gene offspring through natural conception is enough to demonstrate her significance. I believe that such an important 'resource' must be protected immediately, and it would be best to conduct some targeted research on her. Perhaps we can obtain the secret to solving fertility problems from her."

"Targeted research must be conducted within a strict ethical framework and on the premise of the individual's voluntary participation," said an elderly man with glasses and a refined demeanor. He was Academician Chen, the president of the Federal Supreme Academy of Sciences.

His voice was calm, yet carried an unquestionable authority: "Any forced or involuntary research not only violates scientific ethics but may also lead to unpredictable consequences and could even destroy our only hope. Ms. Lu Yao's physical and mental health must be the top priority. I oppose it."

"Academician Chen is right," a capable-looking official representing the Ministry of the Interior chimed in. "And the most urgent thing to do is to immediately include her in the highest level of security protection system and assign someone to monitor and take care of her. That is the most important thing to do."

"Security protection must be directly handled by our military."

"Your military is truly shameless. How dare you plan to rob us outright?" Gu Changming, the head of the Gu family, sneered. "Miss Lu Yao is currently in a critical period of her pregnancy. There is no one more authoritative than our Gu family. Rather than handing her over to you roughnecks in the military, it would be more convenient to take care of her under the Gu family's wing."

The Gu family has been in the medical field for generations, so they certainly have a lot to say on this matter.

Fu Hongyi looked at everyone present with a mocking expression. It was only the beginning, and they were already fighting over it, as if no one cared about the wishes of the person involved.

He let out a cold laugh, the sound abrupt, and everyone couldn't help but look up at him. For a moment, the noisy conference hall fell silent again.

"Does Patriarch Fu have anything to say?" Chu Xiong asked, gesturing for him to speak.

Fu Hongyi didn't look at him, but merely glanced at the crowd: "I just want to say that everyone should not forget that, in the hundreds of years of history of the entire Federation, Miss Lu Yao is not only the only woman to conceive naturally during the 20-year period of no birth rate, but also the only woman in the Federation's historical records to have conceived twins. There is only one of her kind."

He added an accent to the last 'one'.

Seeing the changes in everyone's expressions, he smiled and continued, "Therefore, the initiative does not lie with us, but with her. Don't get this wrong, gentlemen. Just because you have been in high positions for a long time doesn't mean you can control everything."

"In other words, if this woman were to unfortunately perish due to your decisions, who among you would bear that responsibility?"

"Heh, Patriarch Fu, what do you mean by saying all this now? Aren't you just being hypocritical after getting the benefits? Everyone knows that General Fu is your son, and now you might even have a grandson. Naturally, you don't want us to ruin things at a time like this."

"It seems that Patriarch Sun has the courage to take responsibility. I have no objection. You can each rely on your own abilities. I am just kindly reminding you that, as Patriarch Sun said, I already have grandsons and even granddaughters. This meeting is not very meaningful to me. Thank you, Patriarch. I heard that Miss Lu Yao is also very fond of Lin Yu."

Xie Lusheng, who was suddenly called out, felt a jolt in his heart and instantly understood Fu Hongyi's intention: "I must thank Miss Lu Yao for valuing this."

He finished speaking and smiled naturally.

His unassuming demeanor, yet the fact that he had already pocketed the benefits, was particularly striking in the vast conference hall.

Zhou Ji'an looked at the two of them and said with a smile, "I think the attitude of Patriarch Fu and Patriarch Xie is reasonable. Instead of fighting here, why not give the initiative to Miss Lu Yao to choose? Don't you have any outstanding juniors in your families who are capable of winning Miss Lu Yao's favor?"
