Lu Yao turned her head to look at Xie Linyu and found that his gaze was on the couple. His expression was calm, but deep in his eyes, there were emotions that she could not understand.

She didn't ask him "Are you alright?", but simply squeezed his hand tightly.

Then Lu Yao let go of his hand and walked towards the hospital information desk not far away.

Xie Linyu was slightly taken aback, then quickly followed.

Lu Yao approached the information desk and politely greeted the nurse on duty, "Hello, could you please contact the hospital's security personnel?"

The nurse paused for a moment, then asked, "Is there something wrong?"

Lu Yao turned to the side, gesturing for her to look at the scene of continued verbal abuse over in the rest area: "There are people verbally abusing others in a public place, which is affecting other patients and their families. We hope you can handle this."

The nurse followed her gaze, her brows furrowing, clearly having also noticed the commotion.

She nodded: "Okay, I'll contact security right away."

Lu Yao smiled and said, "Thank you."

Less than two minutes later, two uniformed hospital security personnel quickly walked towards the rest area.

Lu Yao and Xie Linyu stood still, watching the situation over there.

Security personnel stepped forward and politely stood between the couple.

"Ma'am, please calm down. This is a public place, and your voice is disturbing other patients."

The woman was already angry, and being interrupted made her even angrier: "What's it to you? I'm disciplining my matchmaker, is that any of your business?"

The security personnel remained polite: "Madam, regardless of your relationship with this gentleman, making loud noises and insulting others in public is not allowed. If you continue like this, we will have to ask you to leave the hospital."

The woman's expression changed; she clearly hadn't expected to be treated this way.

She opened her mouth as if to say something, but seeing the increasing number of stares around her, she eventually shut her mouth in frustration.

"Fine, your hospital's impressive." She scoffed, turning to the man with disdain. "What are you all standing there for? Come on! Haven't you embarrassed yourself enough?"

The man raised his head, his gaze passing over the woman in front of him, through the crowd, and finally landing on Lu Yao.

He only glanced at her before looking away, lowering his head and silently following the woman away.

The crowd gradually dispersed, and the rest area returned to calm.

Lu Yao withdrew her gaze and turned to look at Xie Linyu.

Xie Linyu was looking at her, his deep blue eyes filled with a gentle smile.

"What are you looking at?" Lu Yao felt a little embarrassed by his gaze.

"Look at you." Xie Linyu put his arm around her waist and led her toward the hospital entrance with a smile. "Look at you doing a good deed."

Lu Yao smiled and said, "Because I remembered you."

Xie Linyu had already guessed it, but hearing Lu Yao say this still warmed his heart: "If only my first match would be you, but it's not too late now."

Lu Yao was amused by his words and gently leaned on his shoulder.

"Everything happens for a reason," she said.

Xie Linyu looked down at her leaning on his shoulder, feeling completely content.

"Mmm," he responded, lowering his head to place a kiss on the top of her head. "The best arrangement."

Without lingering at the hospital, the two took a hovercar into the villa area.

As soon as I opened the door, I smelled the aroma of food.

Fu Ciyan came out of the kitchen, still wearing an apron. When he saw them return, his gaze lingered on Lu Yao for a moment. After confirming that she was alright, he said calmly, "Wash your hands and eat."

Xie Linyu raised an eyebrow: "Aren't you going to ask why we took so long?"

Fu Ciyan glanced at him: "You'll say it if you want to."

Xie Linyu was speechless for a moment, then let out a soft snort and said nothing.

Lu Yao watched the two bickering with a smile, feeling a warm glow in her heart.

The table was laden with her favorite dishes: pickled fish, sweet and sour pork ribs, stir-fried seasonal vegetables, and a bowl of milky white fish soup, steaming and emitting a fragrant aroma.

After Lu Yao sat down, Fu Ciyan naturally sat down beside her and placed a bowl of soup next to her.

"Have some soup to warm your stomach first."

Lu Yao took it and sipped it slowly. The warm soup slid down her throat, warming her up completely.

Xie Linyu also sat down and put a piece of sweet and sour pork ribs into her bowl.

Lu Yao smiled as she looked at the food on her plate and talked to Fu Ciyan about Zhou Jinlu. When Fu Ciyan learned that Lu Yao had agreed to the psychologist's suggestion, he wasn't particularly surprised and nodded slightly: "If you want to do it yourself, I have no objection."

"Yes, I know." Fu Ciyan had said long ago that he would not stop her from doing whatever she wanted to do, and he had always done so.

However, to Lu Yao's surprise, Zhou Jinlu's treatment began the very next day.

Lu Yao was somewhat surprised when she saw the message Fang Huai sent her. She had thought that Zhou Jinlu would need to rest for a while longer, but she didn't expect that he could start psychological therapy so soon.

However, having already promised, she didn't hesitate and replied directly: "Okay, I'll be there on time."

"Do you want me to come with you?" Fu Ciyan was dressed in casual clothes; he was taking a rare day off.

Xie Linyu, on the other hand, had scheduled a public appearance today and left early in the morning.

Filming for the third and final season of "Temptation of the Wife" is about to begin, and Xie Linyu has concentrated all his other work during this period to make room for the third season of "Temptation of the Wife".

Upon hearing this, Lu Yao looked at Fu Ciyan and said, "Aren't you tired? Why don't you stay home and rest? It's rare for you to have a day off."

Upon hearing this, Fu Ciyan walked to her side and gently rubbed her hair.

"Going to the hospital with you will be a good rest for you," he said. "Let's go."

Lu Yao smiled, knowing that he wanted to stay with her.

"Okay," she replied.

The two tidied up and then drove to the hospital.

When they arrived at the hospital, Fang Huai was already waiting outside the examination room. Seeing them come over, he greeted them with a smile: "Miss Lu Yao, General Fu, you've arrived. Jin Lu has already arrived, but I didn't tell him you would be coming. I wanted to surprise him when you went in. However, General Fu, you may need to wait in the rest area for a while."

Fu Ciyan nodded slightly, his expression unchanged: "It's only right."

He looked down at Lu Yao and gently squeezed her hand: "Contact me anytime if you need anything."

Lu Yao nodded, then followed Fang Huai toward the consultation room.

The consultation room was softly lit and decorated in a warm and inviting manner, more like a comfortable living room than a traditional medical facility.

Zhou Jinlu was sitting on the sofa by the window, holding a book in his hand, but his gaze was fixed on the outside of the window, and he seemed to be thinking about something.

He turned around when he heard the door open.

He was clearly stunned for a moment when he saw Lu Yao.

A flicker of surprise crossed his light brown eyes, which was quickly replaced by a gentle smile.

"Lu Yao," he called softly, his tone tinged with uncertainty, "What's wrong with you...?"
