The spaceship's hatch slowly closed behind them.

Lu Yao and Zhou Jinlu were squeezed into a narrow economy class seat, surrounded by noisy voices and strange smells, but they didn't care about any of that.

Lu Yao gripped Zhou Jinlu's hand tightly, her fingertips turning slightly white from the force. Her gaze was fixed on the porthole, her heart pounding wildly.

"It'll be alright," Zhou Jinlu comforted her softly, placing his other hand on the back of her hand and patting it gently.

Lu Yao nodded, but dared not relax even for a moment.

Outside the porthole, the outline of the passenger port gradually blurred in the field of vision.

The spacecraft began to glide.

Lu Yao held her breath.

Ah Qi, who was supposed to meet with the largest supplier on the supply planet, suddenly returned to the starship and saw Ah Ze standing in front of the hatch directing people to move things.

"Where's my sister?"

Aze paused for a moment.

He turned around and met Ah Qi's captivating eyes, his expression unchanged.

"Seventh Young Master." He nodded slightly. "Why are you back so soon?"

Ah Qi didn't answer, but tilted her head to look at him: "I'm asking you, where's my sister?"

Aze lowered his eyes: "Miss Lu Yao is resting in her room."

Ah Qi stared at him for a few seconds, then suddenly laughed.

"Aze, when did you learn to lie to me?"

He bypassed Aze and strode towards Lu Yao's room.

Aze stood still, neither moving nor following.

Ah Qi suddenly pushed the hatch open.

The room was empty.

Ah Qi stood at the door, looking at the neatly made bed, and the smile on his face gradually disappeared.

He turned around, looked at Aze who was still standing at the end of the corridor, and shouted, "Where did she go?"

Aze did not answer.

Ah Qi walked towards him step by step, her steps neither light nor heavy, yet each step felt like stepping on the tip of someone's heart.

"I'm asking you," he stopped in front of Aze, "where did my sister go?"

Aze lowered his eyes, his heterochromatic eyes showing no emotion.

"I have no idea."

Ah Qi said restrainedly, "Ah Ze, you're the only one who's been with me for so long and is still alive. We've been through life and death together many times. Why would you betray me this time? If you like her too, you can just say so. Anyway, she has so many men around her. One more or one less won't make a difference. Why bother?"

Aze's eyelashes fluttered slightly: "I don't like her."

Ah Qi tilted her head to look at him, a mocking smile on her lips: "Then why, when did you, Ah Ze, ever have such a kind heart?"

"She helped me out, so I'm just repaying her once." Aze didn't hide anything any longer. "Besides, I don't think you should treat her like this. If you really like her, don't do things that leave no room for compromise."

"What do you mean? You're telling me what to do, Aze? I don't care what you're thinking. Tell me, where did they go? What route did you plan for them? As long as you bring them back, I can let bygones be bygones. Tell me!"

Ah Qi punched Ah Ze in the face, then turned to the person next to him and said, "Lock him up!"

"yes!"

Several guards immediately rushed up and grabbed Aze's arms from both sides.

Aze didn't struggle, nor did he even glance at Aqi. He simply lowered his eyes and let them drag him away.

Ah Qi stood there, watching Ah Ze being dragged into the depths of the corridor, his chest heaving violently.

He turned around and strode toward the starship's command center.

"Connect me to all the informants on Supply Star immediately!" His voice echoed down the corridor. "Get all the surveillance footage. I need to know where they went!"

Ah Qi stood in the center of the command room, staring at the constantly changing data on the screen. The innocence in his peach blossom eyes had vanished, leaving only a crazy obsession.

"Sister," he murmured, "you can't escape."

Meanwhile, the spacecraft had already left the atmosphere of the supply planet and entered the dark interstellar space.

Outside the porthole, the gray planet grew smaller and smaller until it disappeared into the boundless darkness.

Lu Yao finally breathed a sigh of relief, her tense body slumping softly against the back of the chair.

Zhou Jinlu held her hand and felt that her palms were covered in cold sweat.

"It's alright now," he said softly. "We're out."

Lu Yao nodded, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath.

After a long while, she opened her eyes again and looked at Zhou Jinlu.

"Aze..."

"It'll be alright." Zhou Jinlu interrupted her, his tone filled with certainty. "Although Aqi is crazy, he won't kill Aze."

Upon hearing this, even though Lu Yao knew it was Zhou Jinlu's way of comforting her, there was nothing she could do. She could only pray that Ah Qi wouldn't do anything to Ah Ze after finding out.

Zhou Jinlu then opened the terminal, preparing to contact the Zhou family. However, he discovered that the two terminals Aze had given him were not the latest generation, but old, original versions.

This version of the terminal can block tracking signals, but similarly, signal transmission is limited, and it cannot contact people on the capital planet.

Seeing him staring blankly at the terminal, Lu Yao couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong?"

Zhou Jinlu raised his head, met Lu Yao's worried gaze, and shook his head slightly.

"This terminal is a primitive version; it can only be used for basic communication and cannot connect to interstellar networks." He handed the terminal to Lu Yao. "We can't contact anyone right now."

Lu Yao took the small terminal, looked at it over and over, and couldn't quite describe the feeling in her heart.

"We'll figure something out when we get to Nolan Star. Don't worry, we've already escaped." Zhou Jinlu hugged her tightly. "Are you feeling unwell?"

No, don't worry.

The spaceship sailed smoothly in the darkness. Most of the passengers around were already dozing off. The economy class was so quiet that only the low rumble of the spaceship's engines could be heard.

After an unknown amount of time, Lu Yao's breathing gradually calmed down, and she fell asleep in Zhou Jinlu's arms.

Zhou Jinlu looked down at her peaceful sleeping face. His eyes were filled with tenderness.

Hopefully, everything will go smoothly for them once they arrive on Nolan.

Ah Qi watched as Ah Ze was dragged into the command room and threw a document in front of him: "Look at the mess you've made! Just an hour ago, the Zerg attacked eight planets within the Nolan star system. You should pray that your sister and the others don't land on one of them!"

Aze was thrown heavily to the ground, his shoulder blade hitting the cold metal floor, sending a dull pain through him.

But he couldn't care less about that; his gaze fell on the piece of information that had been thrown in front of him.

On the screen, the red warning sign was glaringly alarming.

[Urgent Military Intelligence Report: Zerg have launched a surprise attack on the Nolan star system; the attacked planet has been confirmed...]

Below a long list are the real-time updated casualty figures, those cold numbers climbing at a visible rate.

Aze's pupils suddenly contracted.

He suddenly raised his head and met Ah Qi's terrifyingly sinister eyes.

"Seventh Young Master..."

"Do I need to tell you that?!" Ah Qi grabbed his collar and lifted him off the ground, his handsome face contorted with rage. "How dangerous is the outer star system? You fucking sent them there!"

Aze's Adam's apple bobbed, his voice hoarse: "I didn't know the Zerg would come at this time..."
