North American Patrol: American Iaido
Chapter 73 Iron Plate
Chapter 73 Iron Plate
The work of patrol officers is actually quite monotonous most of the time.
All they do is patrol, patrol, or stand on the street, or increase the police station's revenue by catching a few unlucky guys and issuing a few tickets to get by.
The important thing is that the tickets cannot be issued too excessively. It is impossible to issue more than a dozen tickets in a day. If it is too excessive, people will complain. Therefore, the police can only issue two or three tickets a day at most, mainly for police cars.
Without any police report, Yorke took Gino, a rookie intern, to two unlucky guys and got two tickets.
Throughout the journey, he remained a bystander, leaving Gino to operate the vehicle entirely on his own, but Gino clearly remembered his teachings.
Before issuing the ticket, leave your fingerprints on the back of the unfortunate person's car, and check if the car is stopped or the trunk.
Fortunately, there were no serial killers discovered as before; they were all ordinary office workers.
In addition to the sports car that turned from the intersection, it made a very arrogant and provocative move right in front of them, crossing the solid center line from the opposite lane to cut into their lane and even revving its engine in a show of defiance.
boom!
As the sports car crossed the solid center line and forcibly cut in front of them, the two could see that the driver was a cocky young man wearing a very hip-hop hat and had tattoos on his arms, making him look extremely arrogant.
Yorke chuckled, a look of utter disbelief in his eyes: "We've got a job. Force him to stop the car."
Sitting in the passenger seat, he pressed the button to sound the siren.
Gino nodded, stepped on the gas and sped up, rushing to the sports car and forcing it to stop on the street. He then stopped behind the sports car and got out with York.
Yorke led the way and knocked on the body of the sports car, a Lamborghini Aventador. The low-slung body, scissor doors, huge air intakes all around the body, and the V12 engine visible through the glass were typical Lamborghini features. The price was around $500,000, nothing special.
Perhaps it was intentional, because the car owner had already taken out his driver's license and waved it outside the car window when he arrived.
Yorke took it casually, glanced at the name inside, Ebert Jamal, then looked at the young man inside and spoke calmly.
"get off!"
The young man named Ebert remained arrogant, shaking his head as he looked at York: "Why should I get off?"
"Get off the bus immediately!"
Yorks forcefully opened his car door, his right hand resting on his tactical belt. The calmness on his face and the placid look in his eyes sent a chill down Ebert's spine.
He glanced at Gino, who was on the other side, and obediently got out of the car.
But he didn't forget to add, "Do you know who my father is?"
"Go to the side of the road."
Yorke ignored the fool, simply closed the car door, and calmly addressed Gino, who was standing on the other side of the car.
"Let's see what's in the passenger seat."
He had seen far too many fools like this. As these fools, abandoned by their families, enjoyed the pleasures that money brought them every day, their ways of indulging in pleasure only gradually escalated.
After all, people's excitement threshold will increase, and the way they upgrade from money is mostly through smoking drugs or marijuana, upgrading from the mental level.
Gino nodded, immediately opened the door, and leaned inside to search.
"NO!" Ebert shouted, sounding rather suspicious, and tried to stop him but was held in place by York with one hand on his shoulder.
"You can't search my car without cause!" Ebert shouted.
But by then, Gino had already found a small white package.
"You've gotten yourself into trouble, kid." Yorks shoved Ebert and forcibly restrained him in front of the Explorer police car.
"Put your hands on the car!"
"You're going to arrest me? What charges?" Ebert, pinned in front of the car, still protested and tried to struggle, but felt her strength was no match for the steel hand behind her, and she couldn't move at all.
"Do you know who my father is?" he shouted.
Yorks sighed, looked at Gino, and tossed him the driver's license: "Ask your friends if anyone knows this guy."
"Yes, sir."
Gino took the driver's license, glanced at the name on it, nodded calmly, and then took out his personal cell phone.
Upon hearing this, everyone knew what it meant. Ebert was a little confused and subconsciously looked at Gino, who was already operating his phone. Not long after, he saw Gino's phone ring.
Ebert watched as Gino answered the call and walked over to hand the phone to his ear.
"F*** you! Ebet, what the hell are you doing?!"
Ignoring the familiar profanity and hearing the familiar voice, Ebert thought of a big shot in his circle.
"Saadi?"
"Do you know who called me? He's from the Rubio family. Just wait for your dad to bail you out, that's all."
Ebet was stunned, staring blankly at Gino as he put away his phone and hung up.
"Can you listen to me now?" York patted the idiot who was staring blankly at Gino.
Ebert nodded blankly, his face showing a look of utter dismay. He was just bored and wanted to mess with the poor patrolman, how did he end up kicking a hornet's nest? He hadn't even processed what was going on yet.
"Put your hands on the car," Yorke said calmly, taking a step back.
"Palm down."
Unlike before, Ebert came to his senses and obediently did as she was told, placing her hands on the hood of the car.
"Spread your legs!"
Yorke continued, and Ebert continued to do as he was told.
"Cuff him." Yorke looked at Gino.
"Yes, sir!"
Under Ebert's gaze, Gino calmly stepped forward, took out the handcuffs hanging from his waist, and cuffed Ebert's hands.
"Officer, will I be alright?" Ebert whispered, looking much more obedient than before.
Gino glanced at the nonchalant Yorke and pulled him up: "Get your dad to bail you out."
After saying that, Gino pulled Ebert and put him in the back seat of the Explorer police car.
Yorke walked to the passenger seat: "Take this idiot back to register him."
"Yes, sir!" Gino opened the driver's door and got in.
With the sound of its engine, the Explorer patrol car drove Ebert toward the West Canyon Police Station.
................................................
After all the registrations were completed, it was several tens of minutes later when York and Gino drove out in their Explorer police car.
This time, no fools dared to come out and increase the police station's revenue.
At York's signal, Gino drove the newly matched Explorer through street after street.
Most importantly, Yorke introduced Gino to the owners of some small shops on the street and taught him how to handle some small matters. Although Yorke thought that Gino would leave the company later, duty is duty after all, and in the end, as an instructor, he still had to teach him something.
