Entertainment to the death, make a tokusatsu film that will crush the entire internet.

「Ciallo~(∠・ω＜)⌒☆」

At 8:00 a.m. on the eighth day of the lunar new year, a spirited voice rang out at the entrance of the Land of Light Animation Studio building.

Su Xiaoran jogged into the hall.

She was the first person to arrive at the company, besides Yang Qian.

"Director Yang, Happy New Year!"

She waved to Yang Qian, who was standing at the front desk tidying up her things, with a bright smile.

Happy New Year, Xiao Ran.

Yang Qian turned around, holding a thick red envelope in her hand, and handed it over with a smile, "Here, your start-of-work bonus."

Wow! There are even red envelopes!

Su Xiaoran's eyes lit up, and she happily accepted the gift with both hands. "Thank you, Director Yang!"

She squeezed the envelope; it was quite thick.

Curiosity piqued, she blinked and asked, "Director Yang, can I open it now and take a look?"

"Let's demolish it."

Yang Qian nodded with a smile.

"It was originally meant to be a surprise for you."

Every employee in the Land of Light, from top management to cleaning staff, including interns, has a share.

Su Xiaoran carefully opened the red envelope; inside was a neat stack of cash.

366 yuan.

May everything go smoothly and may all your wishes come true.

Yang Qian explained, "It's for good luck."

"Thank you, Director Yang!"

Su Xiaoran happily put the money away.

"Director Yang, is there anything I can help you with?"

Yang Qian pointed to the cardboard box on the front desk, "When the employees come later, please help me distribute red envelopes."

"Okay!"

Su Xiaoran immediately switched back to her capable assistant mode, carrying a box of red envelopes and following behind Yang Qian.

Soon, employees began arriving at the company.

"Happy New Year... Director Yang?! You personally..."

The newly arrived concept artist, Ma Xiaolu, stammered a little when he saw Yang Qian and Su Xiaoran standing at the door.

Happy New Year! Best wishes for a successful start to the new year!

Yang Qian smiled and handed over the red envelope.

"Ah! Thank you, Director Yang! Thank you!"

Ma Xiaolu accepted it with a mixture of surprise and delight, feeling her early morning drowsiness instantly vanish.

"Let's open it and take a look!"

Su Xiaoran smiled and reminded her from the side.

366 yuan in cash.

Ma Xiaolu's smile widened even more.

Following that, department heads such as Nagano Hiroshi, Guo Fan, Jiaozi, Tian Xiaopeng, Wu Dashan, Chen Yi, and Hu Pangbin arrived one after another.

"Happy New Year, Director Yang! Happy New Year, Assistant Su!"

"Wishing you a prosperous start to the work year! Thank you for the red envelope!"

Wow! 366! Director Yang is awesome!

"Let's burn for the Land of Light in the new year!"

"Happy New Year, Nagano, Guo Fan, and Jiaozi, you've come at the perfect time."

Yang Qian called them back and pointed to the remaining red envelopes.

"We might not have enough manpower. Could you guys come and help out too, let's distribute them together?"

"no problem!"

Guo Fan readily agreed.

Dumpling laughed, "Is this for real? I'm an expert at giving out red envelopes."

Thus, a rather spectacular scene unfolded at the entrance to the lobby on the first floor of the Land of Light.

Yang Qian is in the center, with Su Xiaoran on her side.

Standing on either side were department heads such as Hiroshi Nagano, Fan Guo, Jiaozi, and Yi Chen.

Everyone had a smile on their face and was holding a thick red envelope, which they handed out to everyone they met.

If you didn't know better, you'd think this was a celebrity meet-and-greet, or a group of people being punished by standing in the corner.

"Director Yang! Supervisors! Happy New Year!"

"Wow! A red envelope! Thank you, Director Yang!"

"366! This number is auspicious! May everything go smoothly!"

"The Land of Light is truly something else! My heart was warmed on the very first day back at work!"

"I hereby declare that I will be working myself to the bone for the Land of Light this year!"

Meanwhile, Tencent Video's Animation Division.

The wisteria flowers, having finished their Spring Festival holiday, appeared in the office right on time.

She wasn't able to fully relax this Spring Festival either.

She watched the entire anime series "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" from beginning to end.

As a seasoned professional, the impact she experienced was not only emotional but also professional.

She attempted to analyze the work calmly from the perspective of an animator.

Given Tencent Video's current creative ecosystem and mindset, is it possible to replicate such a work?

the answer is……

difficult!

Extremely difficult!!!

This is not just a matter of investing money and production technology; the key lies in the core screenwriter named Gen Urobuchi.

The ability to accurately depict the dark side of human nature, to thoroughly deconstruct traditional genres, and to skillfully weave in foreshadowing and subtle hints.

And ultimately, it elevates to a grander scope of philosophical reflection and epic redemption...

In the domestic animation screenwriting circle, she couldn't think of anyone who could reach such a level.

She even tried to seek collaboration by sending a private message to [Warrior of Love - Gen Urobuchi] on Weibo.

However, there was no response.

But Tencent Video's dominance will not be easily defeated.

As the head of the animation division at Tencent Video, Zifanghua will not be easily defeated by a single work.

Since it is currently impossible to directly compete with it in terms of depth and disruptiveness.

Then we should leverage the platform's advantages and focus on increasing quantity, traffic, and category coverage.

"Purple CEO, this is a list of animation projects that we have completed or are nearing completion for the new year."

The assistant respectfully placed the tablet in front of her.

"Um."

Wisteria took the tablet and quickly browsed through it.

At the very top of the list is "Tales of Heroes from Another World," which has already been delayed once.

It's a typical reincarnation story with a protagonist who is overpowered by a dragon, focusing on exhilarating fights and a comeback plot, with a clearly defined target audience.

It was originally intended to be a major production during the Spring Festival.

However, due to the scandal of "voice actors inducing fans to raise funds" before the Lunar New Year, the problematic voice actors' scenes were all deleted and re-dubbed, which delayed the progress.

"The re-dubbing and post-production of 'Tales of Another World' have been completed and passed quality inspection."

The assistant added.

"Um."

Wisteria nodded. "It's scheduled to air this Friday night at 8 PM. The pre-release promotion starts today; we'll allocate A+ level resources."

"Yes."

"Also," she swiped the screen, "how's the 'Football Fire' project progressing?"

"The script and initial design are complete, and production is underway."

"Official announcement simultaneously."

Wisteria decisively ordered, "Release the concept poster, core settings, and slogan of creating a new benchmark for domestic sports anime, and first build up the momentum."

She paused, then added, "To seize the initiative."

"Understood, Ms. Zi."

It is no coincidence.

Tanuki Entertainment, Animation Division Director's Office.

Zhang Ming arrived early as well, and he was listening to his assistant's report.

"The post-production of 'Basketball Boy' and 'Hyakki Kitan' has entered the final sprint stage, and according to the original plan, they are scheduled to premiere next Monday and next weekend, respectively."

"That's what the assistant said."

"very good."

Zhang Ming took a sip of coffee. "Go all out with the publicity and promotion resources! Take advantage of the fact that the Kingdom of Light is still on vacation and create a time gap."

"Also, how are preparations going for our new tokusatsu project, 'Sparkling Warriors'? When will the actors be able to join the crew?"

The assistant looked slightly embarrassed: "Mr. Zhang, the main problem is that we're still coordinating the schedules of several members of a popular idol boy band in the Chinese entertainment industry. Their group has a tour planned soon, so..."

"The schedule hasn't been coordinated yet?!"

Zhang Ming's brows immediately furrowed into a deep frown. "You're telling me this on the very first day of work? Don't you want to work here anymore?!"

The assistant felt a pang of distress. "The main issue is that the lead actors haven't finalized their schedules yet... I'm doing my best to communicate with them."

"The lead actor..."

Zhang Ming felt a headache coming on when he thought about the few popular young male celebrities he had spent a lot of money to hire.

In order to emulate the successful model of Land of Light, LOVELIVE!, which binds voice actors with characters.

Despite opposition, he decided to create a tokusatsu (special effects) youth group.

These idol teenagers, who already have a large fan base, were cast as the main characters in tokusatsu dramas.

By linking on-screen and off-screen interactions, we are creating a matrix of tokusatsu idols belonging to Tanuki Entertainment.

The idea was great, but in practice, just coordinating the schedules of these top celebrities was enough to give him a huge headache.

"Fine, go and urge them again! Make sure it's finalized as soon as possible!"

Zhang Ming waved his hand wearily, "This project is a strategic priority this year; we can't afford to fail!"

"Yes, Mr. Zhang, I'll take care of it right away!" The assistant felt like he had been granted a pardon and quickly left the office.

The assistant closed the door, leaned against the wall, breathed a sigh of relief, and subconsciously took out his phone to take a look.

A new message notification appeared on the screen.

Your resume has been received by HR. Please wait patiently for further updates.

The assistant's eyes flickered.

He quickly locked the screen, composed himself, and hurried away.

"We must succeed..."

……

Office of the Land of Light.

Yang Qian sent a message to Da Mi, the editor of Starlight Video.

"Da Mi, the new project 'Ultraman Taro' can be scheduled for release."

The message was sent and Da Mi replied almost instantly.

"Everbright! You really are... incredibly prolific...!"

This has only just begun!

There will be new works.

Rice felt so happy she almost fainted.

However, before the rice processing could begin, Yang Qian sent another message:

"Oh, right, let's promote this together too."

Immediately afterwards, a second poster arrived.

Rice: "???"

besides?

Double yolk egg?

This start-of-work gift package is so luxurious!

He couldn't wait to open the new poster.

Holy crap?!

Rice thought it was hallucinating.

"Guang, Guangda! You really got the copyright to Uncle Jackie's image?! And you produced it so quickly?!"

Yang Qian calmly replied, "Yes, didn't we already mention it at the annual meeting?"

Rice: But isn't this a bit too fast?

How long has it been since the annual meeting?

The poster features five large characters: "The Adventures of Chenglong".

……

The official website of the Land of Light.

Some fans who habitually refresh the official website every day suddenly noticed that the latest news section on the homepage had been quietly updated with a new message.

[New Game Demo] Pokémon: The First Adventure is now available for download!

"Huh? The Land of Light is making a game?"

"Pokémon? Is that the game that was released simultaneously with the anime?"

"Demo version! Free download and try it out?!"

"The screenshots look amazing! Seamless world map? Unreal Engine 5?"

"Where's the address? Download link? Torrent file?"

……

Tianma Toy Factory.

Ma Qingshan received a new toy design from Yang Qian.

Assembly plastic model toys?

Still calling it Gundam?

What a strange name.
