Attack Nexus with the ultimate ray?

Everyone was astonished.

The prophet then explained.

It turns out that the Night Raid's ultimate ray was designed to mimic the layered storm energy of Nexus.

With just a data correction, the offensive rays can be transformed into a pure energy transfer mode, recharging the Ultra Warriors in reverse!

The key task was entrusted to Kazuki Komon by the Precognitive.

Viewers who have seen Ultraman Tiga were instantly captivated.

"Holy crap! A charging beam!"

"Masaki Keigo exclaimed that he was an expert! He wanted to charge Ultraman Tiga in this way back then!"

"Masaki Keigo: Finally, someone remembered this method! Back then, they insisted that my device was faulty! (slaps thigh)"

"To be honest, Nexus, this energy core target, is much bigger than Tiga's timer, making it easier to aim."

"Only Nexus can play like this... Switch to Seven? Are you even accurate with your attacks (doge)."

"Ancestor Seven: Who needs you to charge? Call for backup! Call the Ultra Brothers!"

call out--!

A dazzling beam of energy struck Nexus precisely in the chest!

The powerful impact even sent Nexus flying several meters backward.

Even Dark Mephisto, standing nearby, was stunned. The Dark Giant's movements seemed to pause for a moment, as if he were puzzled.

Stealing kills? Finishing off enemies? Allies?

His palms were sweaty and his heart was pounding like a drum.

Ding-dong, ding-dong, ding-dong!

Nexus's chest timer flashed.

His eyes shone brightly!

He supported himself with his hands on the ground and slowly stood up. His silver skin was radiating a rich energy glow, and his form even evolved further.

Nexus, in his red youth form, once again stands tall on the earth!

"Impossible! Your light should have run out by now!"

Dark Mephistopheles is unbelievable.

"This power belongs to those who never give up hope."

"You don't even understand this basic principle... how could you possibly beat me!"

Red Nexus raised his hand to block Super Mephisto's shot and launched a counterattack.

Unfortunately, this counterattack did not cause him much damage.

"I am invincible! I will never lose to you!"

Dark Mephisto roars.

The two then engaged in a high-speed battle in the air above the Land of the End!

They dodged and weaved, chasing and catching each other.

Fists and feet clashed, light and shadow intertwined.

Every collision sparks intensely and creates ripples of energy, thrilling the audience!

"This is getting exciting! This is the real battle of Ultraman!"

"Brother Zhun is awesome! That young revolutionary is incredibly handsome!"

However, Gou Lümu was treacherous and cunning.

He feigned defeat, but took advantage of a gap in Nexus's pursuit to suddenly change his target and unleash a dense cluster of dark rays at Sakuta Megumi, who was watching from a distance!

"Oh no!" countless viewers exclaimed.

But this time, Nexus, or rather Jun Himeya, did not let the tragedy repeat itself!

Nexus deployed a circular shield, firmly protecting Sakuta behind him!

All the dark rays bombarded the shield, yet could not penetrate it even slightly.

Nexus lowered his head slightly and met Sakuta's gaze on the ground.

The sweetness level in the comments section instantly exceeded the limit:

"Ahhh! Protect! Protect!"

"Jun-ge is so cool! He blocked all attacks in front of the girl he likes!"

"Ms. Sakuta: A woman protected by Ultraman, her life has been worthwhile!"

"That was a perfect display of coolness! I'm so jealous!"

Dark Mephisto became even angrier upon seeing this and charged up his power once more.

But before the second wave of attacks could be launched, it was forcibly interrupted by a salvo of missiles fired by the Night Raid Team!

Nexus and the Night Raid team were working together seamlessly at this moment.

Enraged, Dark Mephisto finally stopped holding back, combining his arms and unleashing a surge of dark energy throughout his body!

"Dark Ray Storm—!!!"

Faced with this deadly attack, Nexus showed no fear, crossing his arms in front of his chest as powerful light particles surged and converged!

"Layered Light Storm—!!!"

One dark, one bright, two completely opposite yet equally terrifying torrents of energy collided, squeezed, and annihilated each other in mid-air!

One red and one white, one dark and one bright, two destructive energy torrents collided violently in the air!

"boom------!!!!!"

The world lost its color! The explosion's light engulfed everything!

The audience in front of the screen almost cheered!

Won!

According to the age-old rule that the left side of the ball always loses when facing a ball, plus the protagonist's halo, he's bound to win!

however……

The light from the explosion had not yet completely dissipated.

The red Nexus, who should have been celebrating victory, gave everyone a deep look back.

The next second, Nexus charged headlong into the still-unquenched core of the explosion!

"What is he doing?!"

"No! Dark Mephisto isn't dead! He's charging up for a sneak attack!"

Some sharp-eyed viewers noticed something amiss.

It turns out that Gou Lümu was extremely cunning. Under the cover of the light clash, he was secretly preparing a second, even more insidious, sneak attack!

Nexus, having previously had limited energy reserves, was once again on the verge of exhaustion after the intense battle.

He was no longer able to use conventional means to defend against or counter this fatal blow.

In the nick of time, Jun Himeya chose the only, and final, solution—

Detonate all the remaining power of your light!

They would use their bodies as shields and exchange their lives for lives!

boom----!!!!

A second explosion, ten times more powerful than the first, has occurred!

Amidst the powerful burst of light, the distorted face of Dark Mephisto could be faintly seen.

Nexus, on the other hand, faced his death with unwavering resolve.

The light from the explosion gradually faded.

Dark Mephisto vanished without a trace, and Nexus also disappeared completely.

In the embers of light, a phantom figure slowly emerged and landed in front of Gu Men.

It's Jun Himeya.

"The Lonely Gate..."

"Light is a bond."

"It will shine again when it is passed on to the next successor."

Himeya Jun smiled at Komon, then turned and left.

Relief, liberation, relief, and perhaps more.

Jun Himeya died in battle.

At the cost of his life, he fulfilled the mission of light, vanquished the powerful enemy, protected those he cared about, and finally...

Make peace with yourself.

The audience was stunned.

What happened to the promised plot twist?

What happened to the promise of passing on the legacy to the Lone Sect and continuing the fight?

Jun Himeya, the man who fought to the very end with a battered body from the very first episode, the man who has just untied all his inner knots and found the true meaning of fighting...

It burned itself out, turning into light, and left without looking back.

"grass……"

After a long while, someone finally typed a single word in the live chat.

"I...it took me five minutes to realize...that my brother is really...gone..."

"Brother Jun... really died in battle..."

"What's going on... I feel like I'm watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica again... Is this definitely an Ultraman series?"

"My heart is at peace, but the person is gone... Waaah... This is even more painful than being stabbed..."

At this moment, all the conventions surrounding Ultraman's immortality, protagonist's halo, and last-minute rescue were completely shattered.

Ultraman Nexus, in its most brutal yet magnificent way, interprets what true sacrifice is and what the final chapter of a hero is.

Soon, the trending topics on Weibo exploded:

#BrotherZhunIsARealMan#

#Nexus's Chosen One, Jun Himeya, Dies in Battle#

#LightIsTheBoundary#

#Nexus's next successor#

We extend our highest respect and condolences to the character of Jun Himeya.

Countless viewers were on tenterhooks, frantically speculating about who would be the next suitable candidate.

"It's definitely a one-man show! Jun-ge's last words were to him! The bond was passed on to him!"

"I'm betting on Go-men too! He experienced the death of his lover and witnessed Jun-ge's sacrifice; he's grown up!"

"To be frank... it's also possible that it's Vice-Captain Saijo? Her fighting spirit is extremely strong, and her hatred for the Alien Beasts is also very intense..."

"Saijo, I feel like she hates more than she loves. Her core is a bit different from Jun-san's, who fights out of love and protection..."

"Could it be a precognitive? Or a newcomer? I'm so anxious! The Land of Light, please update soon!"

Viewers were engrossed in speculative discussions, with their anticipation for the next day's episode reaching its peak.

Office of the Land of Light.

Su Xiaoran knocked on the door and came in.

"Director Yang, we have received news from the 2D team that post-production of 'Your Lie in April' is complete and it is ready for release at any time."

"Okay, I understand."

Yang Qian looked up from the computer and stood up to stretch her stiff neck.

The story of Jun Himeya has come to a tragic yet fulfilling conclusion.

This man's story will surely remain in the hearts of the audience for a long time.

But the story of Nexus is far from over.

The link of light is about to be passed on.

And the next person to take up the trust in evolution...

How could we let the audience guess so easily?

"in addition."

He looked out the window at the sky, where spring was growing stronger.

"April... will be here soon."

A season for meeting, for lies, and for saying goodbye.
