Entertainment to the death, make a tokusatsu film that will crush the entire internet.

The morning of April 1st.

College student Li Bowen habitually reached for his phone in bed.

He unlocked the screen sleepily, only to be jolted awake by a barrage of WeChat messages.

Group chats have 99+ views, and my WeChat Moments are flooded with the same song.

Even the professor, who usually only shares academic information, forwarded a link.

Caption: "I heard this by chance, it's heartwarming and powerful, I recommend it to everyone."

What's going on?

He opened the group chat, and the first message was a voice message sent by his roommate Wang Tao at 3 a.m.

"Bowen! Forget sleeping, get up and listen! Ah Guang has released a new song! 'Blessing'! You'll regret it for the rest of your life if you don't listen!"

Scroll down, and you'll find similar recommendations everywhere.

"Dude! Listen to me! If you haven't heard 'Blessing' yet, then you've probably wasted your time today, no, your entire April!"

"I'm not kidding, the melody is all I can think about right now, and I can't stop crying..."

"Blessing? What's that? A new meme?"

"Released at midnight by the Land of Light, this is a collaboration of six Vocaloid members, with Hikaru himself composing and writing the lyrics—a divine combination!"

"It's Ah-Guang again? Isn't he supposed to be working on animation and tokusatsu? Why is he slacking off again to write songs?"

"Don't ask, it's just a natural talent! Go listen! You'll regret it if you don't!"

"After listening, I felt healed, but also a little lost... Guangda's skills are getting deeper and deeper."

Li Bowen was fully awake.

A new song from the Land of Light?

Was it written by Ah Guang?

The six members of Vocaloid?

Release at midnight?

The combination of these keywords made him realize instantly that this was definitely not an April Fool's joke.

He quickly clicked on the Starlight Video Music section.

Sure enough, the featured image on the homepage was "blessing".

The cover features silhouettes of six virtual singers: Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, MEIKO, and KAITO.

"Holy crap?!"

Li Bowen couldn't help but swear.

It's only 7 a.m.!

It's only been seven hours since the release!

It's surpassed 10 million views?!

He put on his headphones, took a deep breath, and clicked play.

A clear, spring-like piano prelude flowed out.

Immediately, six distinct yet perfectly blended voices rang out in succession, like gentle greetings from friends or warm blessings that transcend time and space.

Come on, try stacking your hands here.

We're sending warmth to each other, aren't we?

That is proof of life.

Blessings for your birthday, Blessings for your everyday

Even if it's just nice talk, it doesn't matter.

Blessings for your birthday, Blessings for your everyday

Thank you for being born into this world.

】

The lyrics are not complicated, and could even be described as simple, but they are paired with a gentle melody.

An indescribable feeling of emotion instantly struck Li Bowen.

He seemed to see the warm glass of milk on his desk when he stayed up all night working on his thesis.

Seeing the hesitant concern in my parents' voices on the other end of the video call, and the generous encouragement from my friends during my lowest moments...

The subtle warmth that is often overlooked in ordinary daily life is amplified infinitely by the song at this moment.

In the chorus, the six-person chorus reaches its climax, with emotions building layer by layer, like thousands of lights gathering to illuminate the road ahead:

Eat well

Sleep well

Have a good time

Study hard

Have a good chat

Have a good argument

Living an ordinary daily life

Even if I can't cry

Even if you can't laugh

Even if unable to sing

Even if I have nothing

Even if I cannot love

Even if you are not loved

But I still want to live.

……

As the last note faded, Li Bowen realized that he had been in tears without even noticing.

He recalled the anxiety of repeatedly hitting roadblocks in his recent internship search, and the uncertainty and confusion about the future.

These emotions that were weighing on my heart seemed to be gently brushed away by the song.

He clicked on the replay almost immediately and opened the comments section at the same time.

The comment section was already flooded with a torrent of emotions:

"Holy crap! 'Blessing' has already surpassed ten million views in just one night! Don't you night owls sleep at night?!"

"You should ask Ah-Guang, who told him to release a new work in the middle of the night! (laughing while crying)"

"I was planning to go to bed early last night, but I ended up listening to 'Blessing' and crying all night. My eyes were swollen when I went to work today, and my colleagues asked if I had broken up with my boyfriend... I didn't even cry this much when I broke up with him!"

"Hugs upstairs, you must be under a lot of pressure lately."

"Did Ah-Guang install a surveillance camera in my heart? Why does every line of his lyrics hit me so hard?"

"Ah Guang! Since you have time to write 'Blessing,' what about Luo Tianyi's new song? Hurry up! You can't favor one over the other!"

"Put pressure on Ah-Guang? Count me in! He definitely still has some stock left!"

"Am I the only one who noticed that A-Guang is the one who composed, wrote the lyrics, and arranged all the music? Just how many more skills does this guy have up his sleeve?!"

It's trending on Weibo.

#Vocal Six#

Topics like these have already climbed into the top ten.

Office of the Land of Light.

Su Xiaoran, holding her tablet, exclaimed, "Director Yang, the data for 'Blessing' has exploded!"

"Starlight Video has surpassed 20 million views, and its total views across all platforms have exceeded 50 million! Downloads and paid listening data are also astonishing! We've occupied four of the top ten trending topics on major platforms!"

Upon hearing this, Yang Qian looked up and smiled, "I'm glad everyone likes it."

She paused, then continued.

"In addition, we have received a large number of private messages and emails from fans."

"There is one rather special request that I think you should take a look at."

"Oh?" Yang Qian gestured for her to speak.

A music content creator with the ID "Chacha" is also a long-time fan of the Land of Light.

She sent me a proposal.

Su Xiaoran handed the tablet over.

"The other party hopes to obtain the cover rights for 'blessing' and unite singers from different languages and cultures around the world to produce a world version of 'blessing'."

Yang Qian took the tablet.

This content creator clearly did a lot of research, listing not only the languages and singer types that could potentially be collaborated with.

They also offered insights into how to interpret the theme of blessings in different cultural contexts.

A hint of appreciation appeared in his eyes.

To produce a world version of "blessing".

This was originally part of his plan.

Surprisingly, a fan brought it up first.

Since that's the case, let's give them this opportunity.

Seeing more excellent works emerge in this world is far more interesting than working alone.

……

At 10:00 AM, the official account of the Land of Light and Yang Qian's personal account simultaneously posted a new update.

[Light Country Animation Studio - Hikaru]:

"Thank you all for your love and support for 'blessing'."

Overnight, the video garnered over ten million views, a truly overwhelming honor.

Overnight, it garnered tens of millions of views. This profound response filled me with both trepidation and immense honor.

Music should be a bridge, a solace, and a blessing that transcends boundaries.

Therefore, we have decided:

Starting today, "blessing" is available for free licensing to all non-profit public service dissemination, personal covers, learning and exchange purposes.

Simply credit the lyricist and composer and the source.

May this blessing travel even further.

May every ordinary day be treated with kindness.

The announcement once again caused an uproar in public opinion.

Industry insiders were the first to react, shocked by the sheer scale of the Land of Light's investment.

Public interest licensing?!

Completely free for non-commercial use?!

Given the current popularity of "Blessing", its commercial value is immeasurable!

The licensing fees alone are an astronomical figure!

The Land of Light was just released like that?

Ordinary netizens and fans were deeply moved:

"Holy crap! Ah Guang's audacity... it's like he's opened the skull!"

"Compared to some music companies that tightly control the copyrights of popular songs and even charge fans for fan-created content... the difference is obvious."

"I'm not saying anything more, I'm going to go to Starlight Video and download the highest quality version of 'Blessing' to show my support! Although I can listen to it for free, I have to express my gratitude with my wallet!"

"Waaaaah, Guangda, I really... I'm going to cry so hard, how can you be so kind!"

"Ah Guang: Hey, did you see this wildly popular song 'Blessing'? (slap!) It's free now!"

"Some animation studio owners don't focus on drawing storyboards or making special effects; they spend all their time writing songs instead of doing their job. Now look what's happened—their songs are worthless! (Just kidding!)"

"I almost lost control of my 40-meter-long sword... I'll peel an apple for the guy upstairs to calm his nerves."

"However... according to the traditions of the Land of Light, anything unusual is bound to lead to trouble! This song is so warm and healing, I'm a little afraid of the upcoming anime season in April..."

"I have a bad feeling. Will my April release be a double payback for all the tears I shed for 'Blessing'?"

"Everbright: Give us a piece of candy first, so we can feed the knife later. (Smiles)"

Joking aside, the positive impact of the announcement was immediate.

In just a few hours.

Cover songs and instrument performance videos in various languages are springing up on major platforms like mushrooms after rain.

The hashtag #blessinginnovationcompetition# quickly gained traction.

Even more unexpectedly...

At 3 PM, the official account of the Culture and Tourism Bureau of City A posted a short video.

The video begins with a shot of a landmark in City A bathed in the morning light.

The background music is the climax of "blessing".

The copy reads.

Every ordinary day is worth cherishing, and every beautiful scene contains blessings. Welcome to City A, where you can experience the little joys of life. #BlessYourEveryDay#

This short video, which seemed to be just riding the wave of popularity, instantly captured the hearts of countless netizens due to the infectious music and the perfect match between the visuals and the music.

"Tears welling up! The official account is actually so clever!"

"The Culture and Tourism Bureau of City A deserves high praise! The video quality and the song selection are truly impressive!"

"I wasn't planning on going out during the May Day holiday, but now I'm thinking of going to City A for a visit..."

The number of followers on the A City Culture and Tourism account has surged by hundreds of thousands at a visible rate!

The cultural and tourism bureaus of other cities couldn't sit still any longer!

City B's cultural and tourism sector followed closely behind.

The video, released at 4 PM, showcases the blend of ancient charm and modern vitality, and also uses a clip from "blessing".

The tourism and cultural activities of City C were launched in the evening, highlighting the beautiful scenery and leisurely lifestyle, with the background music still being "blessing".

City D, City E...

More and more city cultural tourism accounts are joining.

"Wow! 'Blessing' has become the official background music for cultural and tourism activities in various places?"

"They've all been spoiled rotten by A-Guang. Now, they're embarrassed to release a promotional video without a heartfelt background music track!"

"But the effect is really good! After watching it, I want to go out and travel, and feel the blessings of different cities."

"This subtle promotion by the Land of Light is invaluable! Every cultural and tourism destination owes A-Guang a favor!"

"Ah Guang: I only wrote a song; everything else was done spontaneously by everyone. (Hiding his achievements and fame.jpg)"

Office of the Land of Light.

Yang Qian looked at the spectacular scene of cultural and tourism accounts from all over the country scrolling up on the screen, and a gratified smile appeared on his lips.

Perhaps one of the meanings of his coming into this world is to spread beautiful things more widely and to inspire more creations.

He glanced at the calendar.

April 1st.

The candy has already been given.

Now, the main courses should be served one after another.

……

"Friend A, I hereby appoint you as my accompanist."
