Entertainment to the death, make a tokusatsu film that will crush the entire internet.

A few days later, the official account of the Land of Light simultaneously released a set of behind-the-scenes photos from the set of "Ultraman Mebius" on various social media platforms.

The nine-grid photo, captioned: "A typical day on the set of Ultraman Mebius. All the sweat and smiles are revealed in the final product."

The nine photos were carefully arranged.

The first three pictures are close-ups of the suit actors' backs;

The three images in the middle show the entire GUYS base set that the props team built overnight. From the panoramic view of the command room to the details of every control panel, the quality of the scene makes it hard to believe that these scenes will only appear for a few seconds in the final film.

The last three photos are everyday group photos of the actors backstage on set.

The photos were posted at 2:14 PM.

The operations department deliberately avoided the lunch break and after-get off work rush hours, choosing a time period that theoretically had the most stable traffic.

This is the consistent style of the Land of Light: they don't try to gain popularity during peak periods, because their content itself generates buzz.

Sure enough, less than three minutes after it was released, the comment section was flooded with requests for more content.

"Hurry up, hurry up! We can't hold back any longer, we're about to fire!!"

"The crew needs to hurry up with filming! I want to see 'Ultraman Mebius' released before school starts! It's my last source of joy this summer!"

"The Land of Light is always good at piquing our curiosity by releasing behind-the-scenes photos. The nine photos together contain less than a second of the actual footage, but I still can't help but zoom in and look at them repeatedly."

"To be honest, the set design at GUYS is incredibly high-quality. Is this really something that can be built with a TV drama budget?"

"Who took the picture of the suit's back in the third picture? Tell me their name, I want to give them a bonus. The composition and lighting are amazing, even the back view of Ultraman Mebius looks epic."

Then someone stopped at the fifth photo.

Several actors dressed in casual clothes squeezed around a long table in the film set's canteen area.

In the background, Hori is carrying a pot of soup onto the table, while Nagano Hiroshi is smiling broadly while holding a cup of milk tea.

Hayato Igarashi was stuffing a piece of braised pork rib into his mouth, his cheeks bulging out, completely without any concern for his image.

Tanaka Minoru stood on the far right, elegantly holding a cup of coffee, a stark contrast to the bustling atmosphere of the surrounding rice bowls.

To the left front of this group of people, a middle-aged man wearing a dark blue team uniform was crouching sideways.

The comment section was quiet for a moment.

"Wait, who's that guy in the team uniform?!"

"The actor playing Serizawa Kazuya, right? Previously, the official announcement only confirmed Tanaka Minoru as Captain Sakami, but there was no word about Serizawa Kazuya's casting..."

"Why hasn't anyone told me who this actor is?! I've searched through all the publicly available information and can't find anyone who matches this description!"

"Does anyone else think...this person looks a lot like someone we all know...?"

After this prompt, the discussion forum fell into an eerie silence.

This face looks so familiar, but I can't find a matching name even after searching through my entire database of young actors.

"Impossible!!! Absolutely impossible!!!"

A verified film and television blogger posted three comments under this post.

"First of all, it's unreasonable and against industry practice that he wouldn't act himself."

Secondly, if it really is that person, his age doesn't match the character of Kazuya Serizawa.

Finally... okay, I also think this person looks a lot like the person you're thinking of, but I just can't bring myself to say it.

This comment was pushed to the most prominent position in the discussion area, and the replies below piled up to hundreds of times within minutes.

Someone posted a screenshot in another thread.

That was footage from Yang Qian's live stream, and it was pasted side-by-side with the profile of actress Serizawa in front of us. They actually looked quite alike.

"I can't take it anymore. Someone please tell me if this is the same person. I've been staring at this comparison picture for a full four minutes. The more I look at it, the more I think it is, and the more I think it is, the less I can believe it."

"Stop speculating! How could A-Guang possibly play a supporting role... Wait, didn't he mention before that he was going to be in the Ultraman movie?! Everyone thought he was just making empty promises back then!!"

"Case solved! Case solved!! Ah Guang is already rewarding himself!!"

Just as the discussions were spiraling out of control, things were spiraling out of control.

An account named "Wang Dong is also working on set today" posted a weak comment.

"The actor who plays Serizawa is such a nice guy, he always shares the meat and vegetables from his lunchbox with me..."

This comment became the number one most-viewed comment within a minute.

It's not because the boxed meals include meat.

Instead, this ID had been posting random thoughts from a new production assistant on the set of "Ultraman Mebius" for the past few days, and each post received likes from director Guo Fan and Horii.

"Hey OP!! Do you even know who that person is?! You're on set, you definitely know!!"

"Hey OP, don't run away!! Tell me the actor's name for playing Serizawa!!"

"I've gone through your previous ramblings, and you've mentioned this guy several times but never called him by name. Was that intentional or accidental?"

Wang Dong did not respond to any of the follow-up questions.

He was holding his afternoon tea when he looked up at Horii, who was serving mung bean soup to everyone not far away.

The two looked at each other, and Digjing quietly made a shushing gesture.

Wang Dong instantly understood what was going on. He nodded solemnly and secretly vowed that he would never tell anyone this news.

Meanwhile, Yang Qian, who had already finished filming, was listening to Su Xiaoran's report in his office.

"Director Yang, our Saber figure has shipped out. Should we do some promotion now?"

"Can."

Yang Qian nodded.

He doesn't want the audience to know all the information right now.

Before Hikari's human form is officially confirmed, diverting attention is the best solution.

What is the best way to divert attention from the hype?

Create a bigger, more exciting, and more compelling hot topic that people can't help but click to see.

Saber figure!!

This is a product that viewers have been repeatedly asking for in the comments section since the broadcast of "Fate/Zero".

The timing of this announcement is perfect.

"Notify the actors' department to have the fish-flavored cat food brand bring me some products."

"Director Yang, what's going on?"

Su Xiaoran was puzzled.

What kind of operation is this?

Why did Director Yang show such a particularly joyful smile?

There's definitely something wrong!
