Entertainment to the death, make a tokusatsu film that will crush the entire internet.

The chat room is destined to be anything but calm tonight.

Less than ten minutes after the broadcast of "Deep Sea Duo" ended, the comment section of Starlight Video, the Weibo hot search list, the Tieba discussion area, and the NGA column section were completely flooded with comments.

Of the top ten trending topics, four were related to "Ultraman Mebius".

#Ultraman Mebius Episode 6#

#Hunter Knight Sword#

#Captain Serizawa is not dead#

And a new term that's climbing at an astonishing rate...

#Who is the actor who plays Captain Serizawa?#

Amidst the shock and lingering impressions, countless viewers unanimously raised a common question.

Who exactly plays Captain Serizawa?

In the first episode, Captain Serizawa didn't have many scenes.

His appearance, commanding the battle, and his sacrifice—a complete arc was completed in less than 5 minutes.

At the time, the audience's attention was entirely focused on Mebius's debut and the GUYS team. Although they were impressed by Serizawa, the senior who sacrificed himself, not many people delved into the actor's identity.

After all, who would have thought that a character who dies at the beginning would have such a big role later on?

As a result, today's sixth episode directly brought Serizawa back as the human form of the blue Ultraman.

That brief appearance.

The posture of drawing a sword while standing on the reef, the silhouette of leaping into the sea, and the blue light during the transformation.

Every scene makes you want to keep skipping through the progress bar.

He's undeniably handsome, and undeniably mysterious.

This sense of mystery amplifies the audience's curiosity about the actors to an extreme.

Baidu Tieba reacted the fastest.

Someone directly dug up a screenshot of the end credits of the first episode, which clearly shows the cast.

"Captain Serizawa - played by YQ-001."

After the post was published, the Baidu Tieba server remained silent for about three seconds.

Immediately afterwards, a string of replies appeared below the post.

"...Wait, is this YQ-001 the Yang Qian I know?"

"Yang Qian, the founder of the Kingdom of Light? Ah Guang?"

"Impossible, right? He's the boss. The boss himself is putting on an act???"

"What's wrong with the boss playing a minor character who dies at the beginning? Didn't he have a cameo role in 'Ultraman Tiga' before?"

"The problem is, Captain Serizawa died in the first episode! Nobody's going to check the cast list just because a character dies!"

"As we all know, Ah-Guang's favorite thing is to make cameo appearances. It seems fine for him to play a team leader."

While the discussion on Tieba was in full swing, a post quietly appeared in the discussion area of the Land of Light anime forum.

Title: [Shocking! I've discovered that Captain Serizawa from *Mebius* looks a lot like Hikaru!]

The posting ID belongs to an ordinary user named "JieJieJie", who registered less than three months ago, and whose profile picture is still the default gray silhouette.

Judging from the account information, this is an ordinary new user.

But the content of this post is anything but ordinary.

The post begins with a comparison screenshot.

On the left is a still from the movie where Captain Serizawa is standing on a reef, and on the right is a photo of Miriam Yeung.

The poses in the two photos are remarkably similar: slightly turned to the side, shoulders straight, and eyes looking straight ahead.

The only difference was that Captain Serizawa was wearing a dark uniform, while Yang Qian was wearing a windbreaker.

The poster wrote.

"When I was watching episode 6, I felt that Captain Serizawa's figure and posture looked familiar, but I couldn't remember where I had seen him before until I saw Hikaru's photos from the scene in Yokohama."

Look at the posture in these two pictures, the angle of the shoulders and back, and even the curve of the chin being raised are exactly the same.

"Isn't this the same person?!"

Scrolling down the post, it's clear the poster didn't draw conclusions based on just one screenshot.

He extracted all of Captain Serizawa's scenes in the drama and marked the key facial features one by one.

The arch of the brow bone, the height of the bridge of the nose, the direction of the jawline...

Even the shape of the ears.

Next to each screenshot, he posted photos of Yang Qian on different occasions for comparison.

Some are front-facing photos from press conferences, some are screenshots from live streams, and some are side-profile photos taken by the media at the disaster site.

After the analysis was completed, the most astonishing part came.

In the final update of the post, the poster made no attempt to hide his feelings.

"I wasn't 100% sure, so I ran an AI facial recognition model using a publicly available dataset..."

He posted three sets of comparison screenshots, showing the similarity scores obtained by different algorithms.

The results for each group were all above 90%, with the highest figure showing 95%.

The post ended with a line of large text: "There is only one truth: the actor who plays Captain Serizawa is Yang Qian herself."

Within an hour of its release, the post was rapidly disseminated on Weibo, Starlight Video, Douyin, and other major social media platforms.

The comment section was completely flooded with comments.

"I knew it! I knew it! Captain Serizawa looked so familiar! Turns out, it's Hikaru himself!"

"Hahahaha! Hikaru finally couldn't hold back anymore and personally joined the cast of Ultraman in the Land of Light!"

"So this was the Easter egg Ah Guang was talking about! I'm impressed, completely impressed!"

"Wait a minute, I have an even bolder idea: Captain Serizawa sacrificed himself in the first episode and then became Ultraman. Could this be a script Hikaru wrote for himself? I died once in my anime and then became light?"

"@Ah-Hikaru, come out here! Explain yourself! Are you planning to personally play a sacrificial character and then transform in every Land of Light series from now on?! Is this your fixed persona?!"

"Given that Hikaru = Captain Serizawa = the human form of Ultraman Hunter Knight Sword, then the question is, when Serizawa carried the monster bare-handed in the first episode, was he really acting, or was Hikaru just being himself and trying to see if he could carry it?"

"Wake up, you upstairs!!!"

Luo Feng, the on-duty engineer at Starlight Video's backend, had just finished preparing his second bucket of instant noodles.

He was just about to grab a bite to eat while the data was dropping when a notification popped up on his phone screen that the trending topics were rising.

The fork in his hand hovered in mid-air as he stared at the new hashtag that was rapidly climbing into the top three trending topics.

#Captain Serizawa is played by Hikaru#

After a moment of silence, Luo Feng resignedly covered the instant noodles and reopened the alarm backend.

"...This is the third round tonight."

Despite his muttering, his fingers were already flying across the keyboard, preparing for a new round of expansion for the VIP discussion area and the bullet screen.

At the same time, the official account of the Land of Light studio posted an update.

"Okay, I've been found out. I'm coming clean. I'm actually Ultraman!!! (laughs)"

The top-rated comment reads, "Great, A-Guang, you're the composer, producer, screenwriter, and actor. Tell me, what can't you do?"

This comment received over 70,000 likes.

Meanwhile, in her office in the Land of Light, Su Xiaoran tossed her phone onto the table and leaned back in her chair, rubbing her temples.

"Director Yang, do you feel the company is too quiet this quarter and want to have the operations department work overtime?"

She held up her phone, the screen lit up, with the trending topics page prominently displayed.

"Did you know? One of the girls in our publicity department is crying in the group chat. She said she was supposed to go on a blind date tomorrow, but she was forced to cancel it because she had to steer the conversation in the comments section."

"Give her double overtime pay and three days of compensatory time off."

Yang Qian immediately said.

"This isn't about money..."

Su Xiaoran emphasized.

"Add another box of Guangxi specialties, which I brought back personally. Isn't that enough to show my sincerity?"

Seeing his serious expression, Su Xiaoran finally couldn't help but laugh. "Alright..."
