Tony gripped the hammer with both hands and slammed the hammerhead down hard towards the metal cylinder stuck in the ground.

The hammer stopped half a meter above the ground, and dark gold lightning exploded from the point of contact, with black hole particles transforming into a ring-shaped shock wave that spread outward.

Wherever the shockwave passed, the air emitted a crisp sound like shattering glass.

The force field shattered.

No, it's not broken.

It's been reversed.

"What?!" The female agent's pupils contracted sharply.

The sluggishness that had been slowing everyone down vanished completely in that instant.

Instead, there is an unprecedented lightness.

The rocket team was the first to react.

"Fuck! I've gotten faster!"

He pulled the trigger, and three energy bullets flew out of the barrel almost simultaneously, at more than twice the speed of normal.

"Sir, the time field frequency has been reversed!" Jarvis's voice carried a hint of excitement. "The time flow rate for all non-TVA personnel within the force field has been increased to four times normal!"

"Four times faster?" Tony gripped the smoking hammer, a smirk playing on his lips. "That's enough."

The female agent's face completely changed.

She watched as her arm movements returned to normal, while the group of people opposite her...

It's ridiculously fast.

Tony's figure flashed before her eyes.

The next second, the steel hammer was already hovering above her head.

"What did you just say?" Tony tilted his head, looking at her. "To fit the cut, is that my only option?"

The female agent opened her mouth, and instinctively raised the cutting rod.

Tony didn't give her any chance.

The hammer head deflected thirty degrees and swept across.

boom!

She vanished into the lightning, and this time she did not rise again.

The remaining two agents turned and ran without looking back.

"Groot!"

"I am Groot!!"

Three thick tree roots burst forth from the ground, tightly binding the two men's ankles.

Rocket, holding a gun, circled around from the side and pointed the muzzle at one of the men's foreheads.

"Why are you running? The war isn't over yet."

"You mutant..." The agent struggled to reach the cutting stick at his waist.

Rocket stepped on his wrist.

"So what if it's a mutant species? A mutant species stepped on your face today."

Tony walked up to the metal cylinder and pulled it off the ground with one hand.

The moment the cylinder left the ground, the remaining time field completely collapsed, and the orange patterns on the cylinder's surface dimmed.

"Jarvis, can this be reverse engineered?"

"Analysis is expected to take 4000 hours."

"Keep it." Tony tossed the cylinder to Pepper. "We'll study it later."

He turned around and looked around at the wasteland.

The ground was littered with the bodies and remains of more than a dozen TVA agents, and broken cutting rods were scattered all over the place.

The two outermost runes on the hammer have cracked, revealing the dull metallic base underneath.

"The runes are damaged, but the main structure is intact," Jarvis reported. "Repairs may require travel to Nidavellir."

"We'll talk about it later." Tony slung the hammer over his shoulder and strode toward Leon.

Will they come back?

"Yes," Li Ang answered crisply. "And there will only be more."

"You're just going to stand there and watch?" Tony's tone was rather unpleasant.

"I told you, I'd intervene if necessary," Li Ang said, shrugging. "But didn't you think what happened just now was amazing? Using black hole particles to reverse the time field—even I didn't think of that idea."

"Stop flattering me." Tony walked towards the Milan. "We need to get off this damn planet; its coordinates have been exposed."

"Where to?" Quill poked his head out of the Milan's cabin.

"The atrium." Tony glanced at Leon. "You can open portals, right?"

"I have a teleportation gun too." Li Ang pulled out Rick's teleportation gun, which he had bought earlier, from his pocket and twirled it a couple of times in his hand. "At this point, going back to Midgard to regroup with your teammates is the safest course of action."

"Let's go then." Tony patted Pepper on the shoulder.

"etc."

Quill jumped out of the hatch, his expression strange.

"I'm not going to the courtyard."

"What?"

"Yondu." Quill's voice deepened. "If these uniformed lunatics dare to hunt you down, Yondu is in even more danger."

"He must be considered a mutant by those people too."

"The raiders don't have combat power of your caliber on their ship. If the TVA's people sneak over..."

Quill didn't finish speaking, but everyone understood.

Tony was silent for two seconds.

"Are you sure? It might be safer over in the central courtyard."

"I'm sure." Quill patted the revolver at his waist. "We, the Guardians of the Galaxy, have our own matters to attend to."

"Besides..." He grinned, his roguish look reminding Tony of his younger self.

"You think I'd abandon that old bastard Yondu? He's my father."

"You're not related to him by blood," Gamora said casually.

"What's the use of blood ties? Igor and I are related by blood, and he almost used me as a battery."

Rocket put away his gun and jumped onto Groot's shoulder.

"Let's go, let's stop dawdling here. Let's find Yondu first, then we'll make plans."

"I am Groot."

"He said he wanted to take on a few more guys in uniform," the Rocket translator said.

Drax stretched his neck as he walked over, his face still bearing the lingering anger from the force field's slowing effect.

The Mantis Woman trotted to catch up, her complexion already back to normal.

"Take care, Stark."

Gamora glanced at Tony and nodded.

"That's what I should be saying to you," Tony said, pointing to Gamora's Godslayer sword at her waist. "Don't let those guys in uniforms touch you; they might be even tougher to deal with than Thanos."

"Nothing is more difficult to deal with than Thanos," Drax replied earnestly.

Everyone stared at him for three seconds.

"Let's go, let's go," Rocket urged.

The Guardians of the Galaxy began evacuating onto the Milan.

Quill was the last to board the ladder, and he glanced back at the doorway.

"Stark."

"Um?"

"Don't die."

See you back home!

The Milan's engines ignited, and the spaceship rose into the air from the wasteland, its exhaust trail leaving a long, bright streak in the gray sky.

Tony watched the spaceship disappear into the distance before turning his gaze away.

"Alright." He looked at the teleportation gun in Li Ang's hand. "Thank you for your help, Boss Li."

"Don't mention it, we're VIP customers."

Li Ang aimed at the air in front of him and pulled the trigger.

A green oval portal tore open in the air, and on the other side, the corridor of a modern building could be vaguely seen.

"New Avengers Headquarters." Li Ang holstered his gun. "Let's go. Your teammates are probably discussing how to deal with TVA."

Tony took Pepper's hand, and the two stepped into the portal one after the other.

Li Ang followed at the very back, and just before passing through the door, he glanced back at the desolate planet.

The scorch marks and the corpses are still on the ground.

He narrowed his eyes, said nothing, and stepped inside.

The portal closed and disappeared.

Meanwhile, at TVA headquarters.

"Sir, we've found the source of all the anomalies!"
