The cold muzzle of the gun was pressed directly against Cobblestone's forehead, the gold-plated revolver gleaming blindingly under the crystal chandelier.

"Lord Carmine! I swear I'm telling the truth!"

Cobblestone knelt on the scarlet carpet, his body trembling into a mass of rotting flesh.

His hands were tied behind his back, and cold sweat dripped down his forehead and nose.

"That engineer named Jack is a monster! He can turn people into living plastic toys!"

Cobblestone screamed at the top of his lungs, his voice distorted with extreme fear.

Falcone sat on a large leather sofa, holding a glass of red wine.

The uncrowned king of Gotham's underworld had a playful look in his eyes.

He looked at Cobblestone kneeling on the ground, his face displaying undisguised mockery.

A dozen or so Gotham district bosses were sitting around, and they all burst into laughter.

"Toys? Cobblestone, have you been snorting some kind of drug you shouldn't be snorting?"

A bald, burly man with a face full of scars exhaled a puff of cigar smoke and laughed loudly.

"Do you think this is some third-rate sci-fi movie? Real people turning into plastic toys?"

Another tall, thin man in a striped suit chimed in, fiddling with a butterfly knife in his hand.

"I think this fatso is just trying to embezzle the factory's goods and is deliberately making up this nonsense to fool us!"

The entire lavish banquet hall was filled with a joyful atmosphere; everyone was laughing at Copeport.

"The chemical plant is gone, millions of dollars worth of goods and guns are gone, and four corrupt cops have also disappeared."

Falcone put down his glass and spoke in a deep voice.

The noisy banquet hall quieted down.

Falcone stood up, his leather shoes making a dull thud on the carpet.

He walked up to Cobblestone and looked down at this lowly loser.

"And then you come back and tell me it was an engineer who can do magic and that Batman who did it?"

"Do you think I'm a three-year-old?!"

Falcone suddenly flew into a rage and kicked Copport in the shoulder.

Cobblestone screamed and rolled several meters away, landing sprawled on the ground in a sorry state.

His chubby cheek scraped against the rough carpet, leaving a bloody mark.

"Sir! I really didn't lie! I brought those police dolls back with me!"

Copeport struggled desperately to get up, his nose and tears mingling together.

That's enough.

Falcone raised his hand, interrupting Copport's pleas for mercy.

He slowly and deliberately pulled back the hammer of his gilded pistol, producing a crisp click.

"The Falcone family does not support useless people, much less fools who blame fairy tales."

The dark muzzle of the gun was once again pointed at Cobblestone's head.

Coppert trembled desperately, a large wet patch seeping from his crotch.

Damn it, Jack, where the hell are you?!

Just as Falcone's finger was about to pull the trigger.

Beep beep! Beep beep!

A shrill and comical police siren suddenly blared outside the gate.

The sound didn't sound like a real police car at all; it was more like the electronic sound effect of a cheap children's toy.

The audience was silent.

All the gang leaders stopped what they were doing and turned to look at the tightly closed mahogany door.

Falcone's eyes narrowed, the veins on the back of his hand bulged, and he gripped the gun tightly.

"Go see what's going on outside!"

Falcone yelled at the two bodyguards at the door.

The two bodyguards immediately drew their submachine guns and cautiously approached the gate.

The instant their hands touched the brass doorknob.

Boom!!!

The explosion rang out from the ground, and the two mahogany doors were torn to pieces by the shockwave.

The two bodyguards didn't even have time to scream before they were blown to bits, turning into a shower of blood.

A shockwave, carrying wood chips and shards of glass, swept through the entire luxurious banquet hall.

The long dining table was overturned, and expensive red wine and food were scattered all over the floor.

Several gang leaders who were nearby were thrown into the air by the blast wave and slammed heavily against the wall, howling in pain.

The air was thick with the smoke of gunpowder.

The entire banquet hall was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

Only the creaking of the wobbly crystal chandelier on the ceiling could be heard.

"Cough cough cough!"

Falcone waved away the thick smoke in front of him and, with the cover of several bodyguards, steadied himself.

His face was ashen as he stared intently at the smoke-filled gate.

Dozens of fully armed gangsters reacted quickly, raising their Thompson submachine guns.

Dozens of dark gun barrels were all locked onto the direction of the gate.

Da da da.

A series of extremely rhythmic footsteps came from the depths of the smoke.

Accompanying the footsteps was a circus accordion tune that was extremely out of tune.

"La la la~ Tick-tock~"

Someone is humming a song.

His hoarse voice was filled with a chilling pleasure.

The gang leaders who were rolling on the ground were so frightened that they scrambled to hide behind the sofa.

Gashapon shop.

Li Ang looked at the images in the holographic projection, took a big gulp of iced cola, and almost burst out laughing.

"This look, this background music, I'd give it 200 out of 100."

Li Ang tapped his long fingers on the armrest, his face full of amusement at watching a good show.

"With the Childlike Innocent Fruit combined with the clown's madness, what can Falcone and his old-fashioned gang do against them?"

Looking back at Tony and the others who were still struggling to open gashapon machines, Li Ang shook his head and returned his gaze to the screen.

"Times have changed, adults. It's the age of toys now."

A tall, thin figure strode out, moving with comical tap-dance steps.

All eyes in the room were on this uninvited guest.

He was wearing a shabby purple suit with a stark contrast in color, over which he wore a green vest and a wrinkled yellow shirt.

His messy green hair stood out starkly against the smoke of battle.

What's most chilling is his face.

Skin so pale it was devoid of any color.

The scarlet corner of his mouth was torn all the way to his ear, revealing his gleaming white teeth.

Good evening, everyone! Gotham's elite!

The clown spread his arms and made an extremely exaggerated bowing gesture.

"I wonder if I missed the dessert?"

The clown straightened up, tilted his head, and scanned the entire audience with a playful look.

Cobblestone was lying on the ground when his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets the moment he saw who it was.

"Jack, you're finally here!"

"Jack?"

The clown extended a pale finger and shook it gently.

"Jack is dead in that boring chemical plant."

He suddenly grinned and let out an extremely sharp and piercing laugh.

"Standing before you now is the clown who brings joy!"
