Just as the three members of the Lou family were discussing how to leave, there was a knock on the door.

"Sit down," Lou's father said coldly, feeling annoyed by Xu Damao's behavior.

"Now that you're here, Xu Damao, we don't have to look for you anymore," Lou's father said, looking at Xu Damao. "We already know about your situation."

"Dad, I...I saw an expert who said there's still a chance to cure it," Xu Damao said, his hands covered in sweat.
