The atmosphere in the living room was as oppressive as the sea before a storm.

Su Wan and Liu Hu stood side by side, staring intently at the encrypted phone on the coffee table, its screen completely black, as if they wanted to burn it through with their gaze. This was the only "surveillance device" that Li Haotian had given them, but apart from the occasional fluctuating data stream, there was nothing on it.

"Sir... he really only sent a mosquito?" Liu Hu's Adam's apple bobbed, his voice dry as if it had been sanded. He simply couldn't reconcile "assassinating a military fortress" with "a mosquito."

Su Wan did not answer; her palms were covered in cold sweat.

Li Haotian, at the center of the storm, was completely oblivious. He opened a newly bought bag of tomato-flavored potato chips, sat cross-legged on the sofa, and was happily munching on them.

He closed his eyes, his expression content, as if he were immersed in the ultimate enjoyment.

But deep in his mind, the world looked quite different.

From the perspective of the Alien Worker Bee, it is a narrow maze made of cold metal. It is gliding silently against the airflow along the huge main ventilation duct of the Genesis Building's central air conditioning system.

Ahead, at the bend in the pipe, a light net woven from hundreds of thin infrared rays silently blocked all passageways. Any object with heat, even a mouse, would trigger the highest alarm within 0.01 seconds of being touched.

In the living room, Li Haotian picked up a potato chip, blew on the crumbs, and muttered to himself, "First level, infrared thermal sensing, beginner level."

The next second, in the world of consciousness, the [worker bee] did not slow down at all and crashed straight into the web of death.

It passed through the net of light, like a ghost passing through the air.

Infrared radiation had no effect on this "corpse" whose temperature was completely synchronized with the environment.

[Ambient frequency synchronization], start.

"Crunch." Li Haotian put the potato chip in his mouth and chewed it with satisfaction.

Keep going.

Soon, the worker bee encountered its second challenge.

"boom--"

With a dull thud, a titanium alloy gate, half a meter thick, slammed down from above, sealing the entire pipeline perfectly. Immediately afterward, the air pressure inside the pipeline began to change drastically; this was an airtightness check, where even the slightest gap would be detected.

"A hydraulically powered gate with pressure sensing. Interesting." Li Haotian picked up another potato chip, commenting on the dish like a gourmet.

The worker bee did not attempt to break through. It remained quietly in front of the gate, its compound eyes fixed on a hydraulic rod, thicker than a forearm, that was slowly retracting from the edge of the gate.

Just as the hydraulic rod retracted completely, there was a gap of only one ten-thousandth of a second.

The worker bee's body seemed to turn into liquid, and it squeezed into a gap no thicker than a hair between the hydraulic rod and the sealing ring, which was covered in lubricating oil.

[Microscopic infiltration].

It didn't even wipe off a single bit of the oil stain.

When the air pressure on the other side of the gate returned to normal, it had already silently appeared in the pipe behind it.

"Alright, next level." Li Haotian patted the crumbs off his hands and shifted to a more comfortable position.

A dozen minutes later, the worker bee finally reached the end of its journey.

The main entrance to the vault is on the seventh underground floor.

There were no cold pipes here, but a gleaming white passageway. The air was thick with the smell of disinfectant. In front of the massive circular alloy door of the vault, there were no guards, only three exquisitely crafted instruments, like works of art, operating silently.

Triple biometric authentication: iris, voiceprint, and gene sequence.

This is an insurmountable deadlock that cannot be solved by physical means.

Su Wan saw this last line of defense through the structural diagram on her phone, and her heart sank to the bottom.

"Haotian, it's over... We can't get past this point."

"Don't rush, let him have a meal first." Li Haotian pointed to the elevator in the distance, looking like he was about to watch a good show.

In the realm of consciousness, the worker bee did not attempt to break through the door, but instead found a corner of the ceiling and quietly lay dormant.

Soon, the elevator doors opened, and a guard in a logistics uniform pushed a food cart over. As he walked, he muttered under his breath, "Damn it, that fat bastard eats eight meals a day, thinks he's some kind of emperor."

The worker bee silently descended from the ceiling and landed precisely on the back of the guard's collar, disguising itself as an inconspicuous black thread.

The guard pushed the food cart to the alloy door.

"Authentication in progress," a cold, electronic voice announced.

A blue light swept across the guard's eyes. "Iris verification successful."

The guard cleared his throat and read a string of random numbers into a microphone. "Voiceprint verification successful."

Finally, he placed his palm on a panel, and a tiny probe pierced his skin. "Gene sequence verification successful."

"Welcome, logistics personnel C-07."

The massive alloy door began to slowly rotate inward.

It's now!

The moment the guard's retina was locked onto by the scanner, the worker bee, with its 5.0 agility attribute, performed an action that defied the laws of physics.

It sprang from the guard's collar, not flying towards the gate, but skimming the edge of the guard's eyeball, and like a black lightning bolt, "snatched" into the less than one-millimeter gap between the scanning beam and the pupil!

As the guard blinked, feeling a slight itch, the worker bee had already landed on the floor inside the gate.

"bite."

The alloy door behind him slowly closed.

The entire process was flawless.

"Done." In the living room, Li Haotian finished the last potato chip and clapped his hands. "See, this is what you call hitchhiking, green travel, low-carbon and environmentally friendly."

Su Wan stared blankly at him, then glanced at the structural diagram of the closed alloy door on her phone. She felt as if she weren't watching an assassination, but rather witnessing an unbelievable work of art directed by the devil. She felt a deep, visceral fear of this man's methods.

The worker bee flew along the corner of the wall and into the vault.

This place is nothing short of a den of money and crime. The air is thick with the pungent smell of Cuban cigars, the scent of expensive perfumes, and the distinctive stench of money—a mixture of ink and greedy copper.

Piles of cash, without consecutive serial numbers, were stacked in the corner like garbage. Rows of top-of-the-line servers were running at high speed, their eerie blue indicator lights flashing in the dim space. Each one recorded a black account that could shake the world's financial markets.

At the very center of all this, on a huge sofa covered in rhinoceros hide, sat a man as obese as a mountain.

He is the Butcher.

He wore a custom-made silk robe, the collar open, revealing his bloated chest adorned with thick gold chains. He held a cigar in one hand and a solid gold calculator in the other, frantically checking accounts against data on a server while muttering incoherently to himself.

"This account isn't right...it's wrong! It's 0.3% short! Who took my money!"

His eyes, squeezed into slits by fat, were filled with obsession and greed.

In the realm of consciousness, the worker bee silently flew over the mountain of cash and landed on a server's cooling fan. Its cold compound eyes locked onto the oblivious, obese figure.

In the living room, Li Haotian stood up from the sofa and stretched.

"Alright, all audience members have entered."

He turned his head and grinned at Su Wan and Liu Hu, who were already petrified.

"Now, the performance is about to begin."
