Cheng Zhe shifted the topic to the cooperative project, using the remaining time to negotiate a deal that would maximize his own interests.

Cheng Zhe spoke sincerely, but in reality, he was using his mind-reading ability to detect her emotional fluctuations and secretly probe for a reasonable price.

As Li Ruoxi spoke, a hint of hesitation flashed in her eyes. She secretly calculated in her mind: "The budget is probably between five million and five and a half million. We can't quote too high, and we can't let them think that our budget is tight."

Cheng Zhe had figured out her thoughts and was already confident in his understanding. He maintained a gentle smile on his face and waited for her to speak.

After a brief struggle, Li Ruoxi sighed and said helplessly, "Cheng Zhe, your negotiation skills are truly superb."

"Fortunately, we are partners, not rivals."

Cheng Zhe quickly stood up and said modestly, "President Li, you flatter me. I was just trying to make reasonable efforts from the perspective of a win-win situation for both parties."

After leaving the Western restaurant, Cheng Zhe immediately took out his phone and reported the good news of the 5.5 million yuan cooperation deal to the company's management.

Within minutes, the manager called, his voice full of praise: "Cheng Zhe, you're amazing! The company originally expected to accept 4.5 million, but you actually negotiated 5.5 million, a whole million more than the budget!"

"You'll get an extra 50,000 yuan bonus this month, so keep up the good work!"

Cheng Zhe thanked him repeatedly. After hanging up the phone, he couldn't help but smile, secretly rejoicing that he had managed to secure this cooperation that maximized his own interests by using his mind-reading ability.

Upon returning to the company, Cheng Zhe quickly threw himself into handling the follow-up matters.

Before he knew it, it was time to leave work. Cheng Zhe packed up his things, his face beaming with excitement.

He suddenly remembered that the mind-reading ability only had two hours left, and on a whim, he excitedly drove home.

"I'll take this last chance to see what those three women in my house are thinking," he thought to himself, filled with anticipation for the upcoming "mind-reading moment."

As soon as she opened the door, a figure quickly came to greet her. Zhang Shiyi had a bright smile on her face and reached out to take Cheng Zhe's arm.

"The busy man is finally home! Why are you here so early today?"

Cheng Zhe gently patted the back of her hand, then glanced around the room and saw the sound of chopping vegetables coming from the kitchen. Zhang Cuiting was wearing an apron and busy preparing dinner.

On the sofa in the living room, Zhao Ya was watching TV with the remote control in her hand. When she saw him enter, her eyes lit up, and she subconsciously got up to go to him.

But when he caught a glimpse of Zhang Shiyi clinging tightly to Cheng Zhe's arm, he stopped in his tracks, sat back down on the sofa, but his gaze remained fixed on him.

Cheng Zhe calmly activated his mind-reading ability, which had only a limited time left, and listened to the thoughts of the three people.

Zhang Shiyi tightened her grip on his arm, a clear thought forming in her mind: "Cheng Zhe seems to be in a good mood today. I wonder if he's been thinking about me?"

Zhang Cuiting paused in the kitchen, glancing at the living room out of the corner of her eye. She thought to herself, "Cheng Zhe is back early. I can reheat the pork rib soup I made at noon, stir-fry some hot and sour shredded potatoes that he likes, and add some sweet and sour pork. Ya Ya hasn't had much of an appetite lately, so I can make some light garlic-flavored lettuce. That way, three dishes and a soup will be just enough for four people."

Thinking of this, she quickened her pace, her eyes filled with careful consideration for her family.

Zhao Ya sat back down on the living room sofa, her gaze still fixed on Cheng Zhe. Her inner complaints reached Cheng Zhe's ears clearly: "This guy's been so busy with work lately, leaving early and coming home late. He hasn't spent any time with me properly in ages. He did come home early today, but Shi Yi was already clinging to him. It's infuriating! Does he even care about me?"

Her tone was full of grievance, but her eyes held a subtle expectation.

Cheng Zhe heard their thoughts clearly and couldn't help but smile. He realized that there were so many little emotions hidden in their relationship.

Before he could think any further, Zhang Cuiting's voice came from the kitchen: "Dinner's ready, come and eat!"

Zhang Shiyi took Cheng Zhe's arm and walked towards the restaurant first, while Zhao Ya slowly got up and followed.

On the dining table, the pork rib soup steamed, and the three dishes looked enticing, their aromas irresistible. After Cheng Zhe sat down, he continued to use his mind-reading ability, constantly hearing the thoughts of the three people in his ears.

Zhang Shiyi picked up a piece of sweet and sour pork with her chopsticks and put it in her mouth, thinking, "Delicious! Sister Ya Ting's cooking is amazing. I wonder if Cheng Zhe will like it?"

I put a piece of food into Cheng Zhe's bowl.

Watching everyone pick up their chopsticks, Zhang Cuiting thought to herself, "I wonder if today's dishes suit their tastes. If Cheng Zhe likes them, I'll make them more often in the future."

Zhao Ya shoveled rice into her mouth while secretly glancing at Cheng Zhe, thinking to herself, "Why is he just eating and not saying anything? Is he still thinking about work? He doesn't even look at me."

Knowing what everyone was thinking, Cheng Zhe couldn't help but chuckle to himself. He would nod at Zhang Shiyi, thank Zhang Cuiting, and then steal a glance at Zhao Ya.

This unusual behavior made the three of them exchange bewildered glances. Zhang Shiyi leaned closer to him and whispered, "Cheng Zhe, what's wrong with you today? You've been grinning like an idiot. Did something good happen at work?"

Zhang Cuiting looked at him with concern: "Yes, Xiao Cheng, are you too tired? If you are, you should rest early."

Although Zhao Ya didn't speak, her eyes were full of doubt.

Cheng Zhe waved his hand to indicate that he was fine, but in his heart he was thinking that the time limit for his mind-reading ability was about to expire, and he needed to quickly comfort Zhao Ya.

After quickly finishing his meal, he walked over to Zhao Ya and pulled her into his arms. Caught off guard, Zhao Ya froze, her face instantly flushing red.

"I've been busy with work lately, I'm sorry you've had to go through that," Cheng Zhe whispered in her ear, his voice full of guilt.

Zhao Ya was taken aback for a moment, then struggled and said irritably, "You still know? You're always so busy you're never around, you don't care about me at all."

"How could I not have you? I've always been thinking about you." Cheng Zhe laughed loudly, and before Zhao Ya could react, he lowered his head and kissed her.

Zhao Ya panicked and pushed him away, mumbling, "Mom's still here!"

Before she could finish speaking, Cheng Zhe covered her mouth completely.

Just then, Zhang Cuiting came out of the kitchen after finishing cleaning up the dishes. When she saw the two people embracing and kissing deeply in the living room, she froze on the spot, forgetting to put down the dishes in her hands, her face full of embarrassment.

Zhao Ya caught a glimpse of Zhang Cuiting, her face flushed with embarrassment, and she slapped Cheng Zhe's back forcefully, trying to push him away.

But Cheng Zhe showed no sign of letting go; instead, he held her even tighter, glanced at Zhang Cuiting, and continued to kiss Zhao Ya.

Sensing Cheng Zhe's persistence, Zhao Ya gradually gave up resisting, closed her eyes, and let Zhang Cuiting watch her, but her body couldn't help but tremble slightly.

Zhang Cuiting stood there, unsure whether to leave or stay, thinking to herself, "This Xiao Cheng is incredibly bold."

She awkwardly turned her face away, but couldn't help stealing a couple more glances, her hands gripping the bowl and chopsticks tightly, at a loss for what to do.

After a long while, Cheng Zhe slowly released Zhao Ya.

Zhao Ya, panting, was too embarrassed to look up, while Cheng Zhe greeted Zhang Cuiting with a calm expression: "Auntie, are the dishes all cleared? Thank you for your hard work."

Zhang Cuiting then snapped out of her daze, quickly put down her chopsticks, and awkwardly tried to start a conversation: "You guys are so energetic..."
