The male lead for "Soulmate" is vacant, and the list of resumes submitted is getting longer and longer.

On the day of the audition, Hu Ge, Yang Yang, Zhang Bingbing, Li Xian, Chen Xiao, Qin Junjie, Liu Haoran, Deng Lun, Yang Yang, Jing Boran and others took turns appearing for the audition.

After the audition ended, only Li Yitong, Tian Xiwei, and director Zeng Guoxiang remained in the room.

Zeng Guoxiang spread out several resumes.

"Hu Ge goes without saying, his popularity is undeniable, and his acting skills are solid. Yang Yang has a good image and high viewership. Zhang Bingbing's career is on the rise recently..."

"Brother Hu, I guess."

Li Yitong said, "With the biggest name and the best audience appeal, having Brother Hu in the role will make things twice as effective."

Tsang Kwok-cheung nodded: "I also lean towards Brother Hu. Although it's a minor role, having a familiar face is a plus for the box office."

He looked at Tian Xiwei: "President Tian, what do you think?"

Tian Xiwei pulled out a resume and pushed it to the middle of the table.

"I recommend him."

Zeng Guoxiang frowned: "This newcomer?"

"Yes, a newcomer."

"and you--"

Tian Xiwei interrupted him, "If Brother Hu were to play the role, the audience would only see Brother Hu, but if he were to play the role, the audience would see the character."

Li Yitong looked at Tian Xiwei without saying anything.

The resume on the table belongs to a newcomer named Song Weilong.

In his past life, he wasn't exactly famous, but he wasn't bad either. He had played the lead role in a few dramas, and although he made some noise, he never really became a big star.

Therefore, when Mohen was signing a large number of people, he was not among them.

"The male lead in this show is basically just a tool."

Tian Xiwei continued, "His existence is to make the romantic storyline between the two female leads more complete."

"When Hu Ge plays the role, his presence will overshadow the character himself. The audience will wonder how Hu Ge can play such a small role. With limited screen time, the audience will subconsciously identify him with Li Xiaoyao from 'Chinese Paladin' or Mingtai from 'The Disguiser', rather than Su Jiaming from 'Soulmate'."

"Moreover, he is much older than us, so it's quite difficult to get people to accept him playing a couple with us."

"But Song Weilong is different. He has no labels, and the audience sees him as a clean and honest person."

Zeng Guoxiang hesitated for a moment: "But there are risks..."

"There is no risk," Tian Xiwei said.

"It won't affect the box office regardless of who plays this role, but if they perform it well, it will be a pleasant surprise."

She paused, then added, "And—"

"He is now my artist."

The air fell silent instantly.

Li Yitong raised her eyes and looked at Tian Xiwei.

Tian Xi met her gaze without flinching or offering any further explanation.

She was furious when she saw that almost all the promising directors and artists she wanted to sign were under Mohen's company, and in the end she had no choice but to lower her expectations.

Then she was surprised to find that Song Weilong hadn't been signed. Although he wasn't a big star, she felt that he still had the potential to become famous.

Therefore, as soon as she discovered it, she immediately flew over and signed it.

The film "Soulmate" had a decent box office performance in its previous life, and most importantly, it won Song Weilong a double Golden Horse Award for Best Actress. If it were Song Weilong's debut film, it would greatly boost his popularity.

If he gets a few more dramas later and becomes a star, wouldn't that achieve his goal and prove his ability?

That's what Tian Xiwei was thinking, which is why she arranged for him to audition as well.

Li Yitong suddenly seemed a little dazed, then nodded, "Okay."

"After all, Brother Hu's schedule might not be able to match up."

Zeng Guoxiang glanced at her, then at Tian Xiwei, and seemed to understand something.

He picked up Song Weilong's resume and flipped through it again.

"The young man has the qualifications. I've thought back on his audition performance, and I think he's capable of playing this role."

He closed the resume: "If neither of you has any objections, then I have no objections either."

In the office, Shen Mo leaned back in his chair, the computer screen displaying images of the audition room.

He agreed not to participate in the project, but Li Yitong still arranged for him to have first-person perspective footage. The camera footage used to record audition information in the audition room was transmitted to Shen Mo's computer in real time.

Song Weilong, Shen Mo certainly remembered this name.

Now, he remembers it much better!

The hallway after the audition.

Tian Xiwei walked ahead, and Li Yitong caught up from behind and walked alongside her.

"Intentional?"

Tian Xi turned her head slightly: "What do you mean, intentionally?"

Li Yitong said, "You know I won't oppose you in public."

Tian Xiwei did not deny it.

Li Yitong sighed: "Do you know why I recommended Brother Hu?"

"It's precisely because Brother Hu is much older than us that he's a suitable candidate, and he won't be affected by us."

Tian Xiwei stopped and turned around to look at her.

"What factors are influencing this?"

"Will anyone who collaborates with us be blacklisted?"

Li Yitong pursed her lips. "You know why."

"Because this is a play we acted in together, it's your first play since you came back, and it's a play he couldn't participate in."

Tian Xiwei looked at her and smiled slightly.

"Then tell him that Song Weilong is someone I signed."

Li Yitong shook her head with a chuckle. "If I really told him, he would only be in a worse situation."

"Sister Tong, you can tell him that there's nothing between me and Song Weilong. He's just my way of proving my abilities."

"If I make him famous, who never became a sensation in his previous life, wouldn't that prove my ability?"

She smiled, revealing a shallow dimple on her cheek.

Li Yitong reached out and grabbed her wrist.

You don't have to prove yourself.

Tian Xi shook her head slightly and looked into Li Yitong's eyes.

"Sister Tong, you don't need to."

"But I have to use it!"

Undeniably, Tian Xiwei still couldn't bear to part with Shen Mo. Even with the bond of the three of them being reborn in two lifetimes, she didn't feel that she could really leave Shen Mo.

However, even if they can't live without each other, they can't easily be together.

Tian Xiwei was Shen Mo's fiancée in her previous life, and she was unwilling to simply be one of the many women around Shen Mo in this life.

She wants to reach the top of the entertainment industry, she wants to build a huge business empire, she wants to be the center of attention.

Then, with their overwhelming power, they could rightfully stand beside him.

Even if she can't be the sole empress, she should still have the East and West empresses stand on equal footing.

Li Yitong delivered an invitation to a dinner party to Shen Mo.

"It was Gan Wei, the wife of Boss Jia, the head of Le Shi. She and Sister Mi are both members of the Teddy Sisters group. She passed it to me through Sister Mi."

"They want us to become celebrity shareholders in LeShi Pictures."

Shen Mo looked up at Li Yitong and asked, "Do you think we should invest?"

Li Yitong rolled her eyes. "I'm not stupid. Even if I threw it into the water, it would still make a splash."

Shen Mo burst out laughing.

After the start of 2016, LeShi.com invited celebrities and investors to invest in core sectors such as LeShi Pictures and LeShi Sports, aiming to deeply integrate their interests with LeShi's overall interests.

This partnership is not just about funding, but also about achieving deep cooperation in business, while leveraging the celebrity effect to enhance LeShi's brand value and influence.

In Shen Mo's memory, Leshi will spend 98 billion yuan to acquire Leshi Pictures, which will cause the value of Leshi Pictures' shares to skyrocket, and the net worth of the celebrity shareholders will also rise accordingly.

The reason why LeShi did this was to make it easier for LeShi to raise funds in the capital market.

After all, the involvement of celebrity shareholders undoubtedly boosted investors' confidence in LeShi's story, providing strong credit endorsement and publicity.

In recent years, Shen Mo and Li Yitong can be considered top-tier celebrities, so inviting them to invest was already part of the plan.

As the wife of Boss Jia, the head of Leshi, Gan Wei took on the important task of inviting Shen Mo and Li Yitong to invest.

During its heyday, Lesex attracted investment from celebrities, causing its stock price to soar and its market value to exceed 100 billion.

At the press conference, Mr. Jia talked about ecological transformation and put forward the slogan "Suffocating for dreams," which was met with thunderous applause from the audience.

and then?

Then the funding chain broke, suppliers demanded payment, and Mr. Jia flew to the United States to "build cars," leaving behind a mess.

Gan Wei was unaware of these things.

But Shen Mo and Li Yitong knew.

They naturally didn't attend the dinner party, leaving the two Teddy sisters looking at each other in bewilderment.

Gan Wei didn't give up and praised Le Shi Pictures' wonderful blueprint to Yang Mi, asking her to convey it to the two of them.

Seeing Yang Mi's interested expression, Gan Wei felt confident. She promised that as long as Yang Mi brought Shen Mo and Li Yitong in, she could give Yang Mi an extra portion of stock.

However, three days later.

Yang Mi replied to Gan Wei: Li Yitong said that both of their funds are currently tied up in projects and they can't spare any more money.

Even Yang Mi herself no longer had that hint of interest in her eyes.

Gan Wei's expression changed immediately. Shen Mo and Li Yitong clearly looked down on her, or rather, looked down on Le Shi, showing her no respect whatsoever.

They even managed to persuade Yang Mi to leave.

Gan Wei looked at Yang Mi and shook her head with a sneer. It was time for this showy couple of teddy bear sisters to come to an end.

"They're not willing."

After Gan Wei left, she called Boss Jia directly.

"They say they're out of money, but they've only invested in over a dozen films this year, how could they be short of such a small amount?"

"It's obvious they don't want to support us."

Gan Wei paused, then lowered her voice.

"Moreover, his tone gave people a very disdainful feeling. Maybe it's because he only works with big platforms like Tencent Video and iQiyi, and he looks down on LeShi."

Boss Jia didn't say much, but Gan Wei knew that she had messed up the matter.

The boasts he made to Boss Jia back then—"Once Shen Mo and Li Yitong join, other celebrities will follow suit," "Leave this to me, I'll definitely handle it," "At worst, we'll give Yang Mi some shares and have her help us persuade them"—

As a result, they have now become slaps in the face.

So she needed an excuse: it wasn't that I was incapable, it was that their attitude was wrong.

Gan Wei hung up the phone and sat in her office for a long time.

She opened Weibo and found the cast of "Soulmate" that had just been officially announced.

Male lead: Song Weilong, a newcomer with no previous works.

Gan Wei slowly scrolled through the comments section. Some people were already questioning it, but the voices were still faint and scattered.

She turned off her phone screen, leaned back in her chair, and a slight smile appeared on her lips.

It seems like the chance to retaliate has finally arrived!

Three days after the official announcement of "Soulmate", some "industry insider revelations" began to appear on Weibo.

"A certain youth film was casting for the male lead. More than a dozen popular young actors auditioned, but in the end, a complete newcomer was chosen? Those who know, know."

"Morning Light Media is the investor. What's the big deal about sending one of their own people to audition? Using your popular young actors for auditions is just a formality to boost publicity. You really think you can act?"

"Brother Hu, Yang Yang, and Li Xian all tried out, but they lost to someone who doesn't even have a Baidu Baike entry. Are the production team blind?"

At first, there were only a few scattered ones.

But soon, marketing accounts stepped in.

Uniform wording, uniform images, and uniform release time.

The copywriting is largely the same, but the core message is the same: there was a shady deal involved in the casting of "July and Ansheng," and Tian Xiwei used her relationship with Mohen to force her own artists into the cast.

"I feel sorry for Brother Hu, he's just a runner-up making way for capital."

"Does Li Yitong, as the producer, also tacitly agree?"

"Tian Xiwei wants to promote Song Weilong, what can she say? I feel sorry for my sister Tong."

Song Weilong's Weibo comment section was flooded with comments. Originally there were only a few dozen comments, but overnight the number of comments exceeded 10,000.

What's your background?

"How much did you pay for the character?"

"The heir to Chenxi Media, right?"

Shen Mo's office.

Lin Wei placed the public opinion report in front of Shen Mo.

"The online trolls arranged by LeShi."

Shen Mo flipped through two pages, his expression remaining unchanged.

"Should we fight back?" Lin Wei asked.

Shen Mo closed the report and pushed it aside. "Do you think I should retaliate?"

Lin Wei was stunned for a moment.

Shen Mo leaned back in his chair, sunlight streaming in from the window and falling on his profile, revealing no emotion.

After a few seconds, he suddenly asked a question.

"Any movement from Chenxi's side?"

Lin Wei shook her head: "I haven't received any PR requests from them, and Tian Xiwei hasn't responded at all."

Shen Mo's lips twitched, as if he wanted to laugh but didn't.

"Then there's even less need."

Lin Wei didn't quite understand, but Shen Mo didn't seem inclined to explain, so she didn't ask any more questions and turned to leave the office.

At Xuelu, Li Yitong pushed a cup of tea in front of Tian Xiwei.

Tian Xiwei didn't drink it, staring at the tea leaves floating in the teacup, lost in thought.

"Le Shi's work."

Li Yitong said, "Gan Wei didn't get any good treatment from Yang Mi, so she took it out on you."

Tian Xiwei hummed in agreement.

"I can ask Lin Wei to..."

"No need," Tian Xiwei interrupted her. "I can handle it myself."

Li Yitong looked at her.

Tian Xiwei wasn't wearing makeup today; her face was bare, and there were faint dark circles under her eyes, clearly indicating that she hadn't slept well last night.

Even so, she sat very upright, her shoulders and back taut, like a string stretched to its limit.

"How do you plan to handle this?" Li Yitong asked. Highly recommend "The Shura Field of Chinese Entertainment: All the Young Actresses Want to Climb to the Top!" Go directly to the exciting part.

Tian Xiwei finally raised her eyes.

"Let them criticize; a minor character like him won't make a difference."

Li Yitong frowned as she looked at her.

"They criticized him until everyone thought Song Weilong was a nepotism hire, and until everyone believed there was something fishy about this show."

"Isn't being infamous still fame? At least this movie has already garnered a lot of attention even before its release, hasn't it?"

"When the movie is released, as long as his performance is decent, the combination of his controversial popularity and our marketing will turn his reputation positive."

Tian Xiwei's voice was soft, but her eyes were firm.

"Besides, the focus of this play is on you and me. As long as we don't mess up, it's not a big deal."

"Sister Tong, will you and I fall apart?"

Li Yitong suddenly smiled, "It's good that you have confidence."

"However, I think you should still explain things to Shen Mo."

"Don't test or provoke them; there's no benefit in that."

Tian Xiwei looked at Li Yitong in deep thought for a long time, then nodded slightly.

At one o'clock in the morning, Shen Mo was still in his office.

On the computer screen was a diagram of LeShi's equity structure. He had circled several key points: LeShi Pictures, LeShi Sports, and LeShi.com.

His gaze shifted to another screen, which was Weibo's trending topics page.

The casting controversy surrounding "Soulmate" has dropped to eleventh place, but the number of comments is still rising.

Song Weilong's Weibo followers increased from a few thousand to over ten thousand, but at the cost of being bombarded with insults in the comments section.

Shen Mo looked at the comments, expressionless.

Ganwei.

He silently repeated the name in his mind.

She took on the important task of inviting him to invest, but failed. She felt she had lost face, and a person who has lost face needs to regain it.

There are many ways to regain face.

She chose the dumbest one.

He closed his eyes and began to recall Le Shi's past life.

In April 2016, LeShi.com announced the acquisition of LeShi Pictures, valuing the company at 98 billion yuan.

In May 2016, the list of celebrity shareholders was announced, and the stock price reached its peak.

In November 2016, Leshi was exposed by the media for owing huge sums of money to suppliers, triggering a supply chain crisis. The debt backfired on its core business, and its equity began to be frozen one after another.

In January 2017, Sun Hongbin brought 15 billion yuan from Sunac to the company.

In April 2017, LeShi suspended trading.

In July 2017, Mr. Jia resigned as chairman and flew to the United States.

In January 2018, after Leshi resumed trading, its stock price fell to the daily limit for several consecutive days, and its market value evaporated. Sunac Investment lost everything, and Sun Hongbin admitted that he had "misjudged" the situation.

……

He opened his eyes, stared at the computer screen, and slowly a wicked smile crept onto his lips.

We can't always wait for our opponents to target us before we can retaliate; that would be too frustrating.

There are always people who want to use your reputation to their advantage. If I don't take the initiative, people will think I'm easy to bully.

Since that's the case, I'll start with you this time.

There have long been rumors that there is a mysterious force behind Boss Jia's accountant position.

But Shen Mo, who came from the future, knew very well that this was a background that Boss Jia had given him. In the early days, he might have really had the help of this force, but now, the other party had long since withdrawn.

In the last round of financing before LeShi went public, a company called Huijin Dongfang became the third largest shareholder. The actual controller is the younger brother of a mysterious force, and one of LeShi's early partners is also the younger brother of this younger brother's wife.

However, in 2012, this group had already reduced and sold off its shares. In 2014, the most mysterious member was investigated, and if I remember correctly, he was to be tried at the end of 2016.

At the beginning of 2016, if Shen Mo were to deal with Le Shi, he would not encounter any obstacles at all.

Moreover, Boss Jia is too high-profile, and Shen Mo is not the only one who wants him to step down and calm down.

In the Ink-Trace Conference Room, the curtains were half-drawn, and a diagram of Leshi's equity structure was projected onto the screen.

The red arrows on the LeShi equity chart on the screen point from LeShi.com to LeShi Pictures, LeShi Sports, LeShi Auto, and LeShi Mobile.

One sum of money after another, like blood pumped from the heart, flowed to increasingly distant extremities, forming the vast empire that LeShi is today.

The problem is that the heart itself has no blood left.

Zhao Feng, Chen Jun, and Zhou Wanqing sat across from each other at the conference table.

Chen Jun's eyes darted back and forth across the shareholding chart, while Zhao Feng crossed his arms and his lips curled slightly downwards.

"President Shen."

After pondering for a long time, Zhao Feng carefully chose his words and said, "Le Shi is currently enjoying great popularity."

"Just after Mr. Jia finished speaking about ecological synergy at the annual meeting of entrepreneurs, Sun Hongbin of Rongchuang also expressed interest in discussing strategic cooperation with him, reportedly with a minimum investment of 10 billion yuan."

He paused for a moment, then said the most crucial sentence.

"Is it... not a good idea to short it now?"

Shen Mo glanced at him, a slight smile playing on her lips.

"It's just empty slogans."

"As far as I know, LeShi mobile phones are sold at a loss for hardware, claiming to make money through their ecosystem, but where is the ecosystem? It's just in Mr. Jia's PPT."

"His business segment owes suppliers at least 80 billion yuan in unpaid bills."

Zhao Feng's eyebrows twitched involuntarily.

"LeShi Sports signed contracts for the English Premier League, Chinese Super League, and NBA with great fanfare, but when it came to payment, they kept delaying. The sports rights fees owed are at least over 30 billion yuan."

Chen Jun gasped. As someone who dealt with numbers all the time, he knew all too well what those two numbers meant: a broken cash flow.

"As for the cars that everyone is most concerned about."

Shen Mo couldn't help but laugh as he said this, "We've burned through over 100 billion yuan, and it's still just on the blueprints. As for the progress of the American factory, there's nothing on the ground except grass."

Zhao Feng lowered his arm, which he had been holding, and leaned forward slightly.

"If Sun Hongbin knew all this, do you think there would still be any follow-up to the 10 billion yuan investment?"

Shen Mo picked up the stylus again and drew a circle in the center of LeShi's equity structure diagram.

"Boss Jia won't tell the market these figures."

"He spread them across the accounts of dozens of related companies, concealing the true debt ratio through complex equity nesting and related-party transactions."

"But he can't hide it."

The stylus touched three small squares on the edge of the screen, "three bottomless pits, each burning through tens of millions of dollars every day."

"We lose money on every mobile phone we sell, sports broadcasting rights alone cost billions of yuan to renew each year, and automobiles cost tens of billions of yuan to produce."

"And LeShi's main business, video websites and film and television production, simply cannot support such a large cash flow gap."

"Last year, we only managed to produce one show, 'Go Princess Go,' which barely became a hit. The return on investment was too low."

Shen Mo walked to the conference table and sat down. "Actually, his idea is very good: a four-layer architecture of platform + content + terminal + application."

"But he took too big a step. You can have four legs and walk on some of them, but if you lift all four legs at the same time, you can leap into the sky like a frog, or you can fall straight down."

"He staked his entire musical experiment on a single hypothesis."

"Assuming he lands smoothly, and assuming the capital market will always believe his story."

Shen Mo placed the stylus on the table. "But stories always have a day when they can't continue, and things that are hidden will always be discovered one day."

Zhao Feng stared at the equity chart on the screen, the red arrows and numbers rearranging themselves in his mind's eye.

He followed Shen Mo for more than four years.

He followed Shen Mo for more than four years.

He was in charge of shorting Hong Kong stocks. Shen Mo pointed to the Hang Seng Index chart and directed the team to rush in. The index subsequently fell, and Mohen Capital became famous overnight.

In response to Huayi's encirclement and suppression, Shen Mo laid an even larger net, from the secondary market to the primary market, from equity acquisition to board seats, and then to the division of Huayi, resulting in a change of power among entertainment industry giants.

After Huayi, Mohen Capital's daily routine returned to normal.

It's not that there were no transactions; quite the opposite.

Inkmark Fund has been adjusting its portfolio, with steady growth in long-term holdings of US stocks and gains from swing trading in Hong Kong stocks.

In the primary market, Chen Jun is in charge of equity investments, including ByteDance, Meituan, Didi, Xiaomi, Bilibili, Paopao Mart, Xiaomoushu, Pinduoduo, and more. His investment portfolio is growing larger and larger.

Mohen Capital has grown from a few hundred million to tens of billions in just a few years, and its investment return rate has been the highest in the industry for many consecutive years.

But Zhao Feng always felt that something was missing.

Although I made money and there were exciting moments in daily transactions, it all felt less thrilling than something as groundbreaking as this industry-changing event.

Even without Shen Mo's interference, Mohen Capital still makes money through diversified investments, portfolio management, risk hedging, stability, efficiency, and predictability.

But once Shen Mo personally gets involved, it's a completely different story.

He would disassemble the entire machine, reassemble it from the parts into a cannon, aim at some behemoth, and fire.

At this moment, Zhao Feng sat in the conference room, looking at the equity diagram of Leshi on the screen, and that familiar current and stimulation returned to his body.

The corners of his mouth slowly turned up.

"Mr. Shen, what level of short-selling strategy should we pursue?"

Is this simply short selling in the secondary market to lock in profits, or is it part of a coordinated effort involving other actions to wage a complex battle?

Shen Mo looked at Zhao Feng, "Short selling is the first step; profiting is just a side effect."

Zhao Feng's eyes lit up. "What about the main thing?"

Shen Mo didn't answer directly. He picked up the stylus and drew a circle on the LeShi Video icon.

Zhao Feng looked over and suddenly understood something.

Shen Mo turned to Zhou Wanqing, "Wanqing, I need a complete investigation report on LeShi's supplier network."

Zhou Wanqing opened her notebook, the pen tip hovering above the paper.

"Mobile phone business, sports copyright, film and television production, and automotive supply chain."

"The amount owed, the duration of the arrears, the operating conditions of the suppliers, which ones can no longer hold on, which ones are still struggling, and which ones have already started legal proceedings."

"And one more thing." He paused for a moment.

"What was the actual investment situation of the celebrity shareholders of LeShi Pictures? How many people invested, how much did they invest, and what was the exit mechanism?"

Zhou Wanqing's pen moved quickly across the paper. "On the intelligence network side, which level should we use?"

"The highest level." Shen Mo didn't hesitate. "But don't alert them."

Zhou Wanqing nodded and closed her notebook.

Over the past four years, Mohen has planted information nodes in many corners of the entertainment industry, including talent agencies, production studios, video platforms, GG distributors, and theatrical releases...

Observe who is buying IPs, who is poaching artists, whose projects have been halted, and whose funding is in trouble.

This is the source of Mohen Entertainment's intelligence information. We can't rely on Li Yitong's foresight forever, because this information will eventually run out.

Shen Mo's gaze shifted to Chen Jun. "Chen Jun, the debt."

Chen Jun had already sat up straight. He is the investment director of Mohen Capital, responsible for primary market equity investment and special opportunity investment.

"Special opportunity" is an industry term that, in layman's terms, means taking advantage of someone's weakness to enter the market when they are at their most vulnerable and acquire the most valuable assets at the lowest price.

"LeShi's supplier receivables are collected through offshore structures."

"We'll take as many as you have."

"We prioritize accepting payments from suppliers who are more than six months overdue; these suppliers are the most urgent and offer the lowest prices."

Chen Jun quickly calculated in his mind: "According to the data just now from President Shen, the mobile phone business alone is 80 billion, sports is 30 billion, plus other miscellaneous businesses... the total market size may be over 150 billion."

"It's unrealistic and unnecessary to accept everything," Shen Mo said. "What we need is the status of a creditor."

Chen Jun understood that Shen Mo needed to exchange creditor's rights for a voice. Once Le Shi entered bankruptcy liquidation, the voting rights at the creditors' meeting would determine who would sit at the table to divide the assets.

"Which entity should be used to collect the money?" Chen Jun asked.

Inkmark has offshore companies in the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong, with different levels of structure corresponding to different investment objectives.

For primary market equity investments, the Hong Kong Capital Group entity is used; for US stock operations, a Cayman Islands fund is used; and for sensitive assets, a British Virgin Islands (BVI) SPV is used.

Shen Mo pondered for a few seconds, "Let's set up a new one, using a BVI SPV, with shareholders going through to the last layer using a trust structure, and name it Changhe Capital."

Chen Jun wrote the name down in his notebook.

The Yangtze and Yellow Rivers flow to the sea and never return; Lexis's cash flow is probably in the same direction.

Zhao Feng waited until Shen Mo finished explaining the legal and debt arrangements before speaking again.

"Mr. Shen, is it my turn now?"

"The 98 billion yuan acquisition of LeShi Pictures will be officially announced in April. After the news comes out, the stock price will surge. Buying in during that range will be when the market is most optimistic."

"We use a combination of short-selling tools, with short selling accounting for 60% and the remaining 40% used to buy out-of-the-money put options. The leverage ratio is kept within 1:3. Once Leshi's stock price starts to fall, it will be an avalanche, and we can capture the big swings with the options portion."

"Once Wanqing obtains the key evidence regarding the supplier's outstanding payments, the investigation report will be released to the media in batches through third-party channels. Each time a report is released, Leshi's public relations team will have to respond, and each response will reveal more flaws."

"When the market began to doubt Lescare's cash flow..."

Zhao Feng picked up the conversation: "The actual situation of the celebrity shareholders can now be released."

"They were the final straw that broke the camel's back."

"Investors don't care about Mr. Jia's PPT, but they can understand the expressions of celebrities."

"When those celebrities started scrambling to find someone to take over their shares..."

"We've won," Chen Jun said with a smile, adding the last sentence.

A satisfied smile slowly crept onto Shen Mo's lips. Their response proved that they understood his intentions, so there was no need for further explanation.
