The next day, the weather was terribly gloomy, as if the entire sky was about to press down. At noon, the three members of "Shadowfang," carrying their equipment, silently disappeared into the mist and rocks in the northeast.

As the Shenshi hour drew to a close, Lin Feng and two demolition experts finished their final inspection of the equipment, including, most importantly, dozens of small "bombs" encased in earthenware jars and filled with high-purity "Crimson Flame Crystal" powder and special fuses, as well as several cans of refined kerosene. These were the fruits of the two demolition experts' tireless efforts over the past few days.

At three-quarters past dusk, the three evaded the guards and arrived at the western waste pile. Here, mountains of slag and waste emitted a pungent odor. Following the marks left by the wind chime, they quickly found the cave entrance, half-hidden by rubble and withered vines. The entrance was small, only wide enough for one person to crawl through. Lin Feng was the first to crawl in.

The group crawled for about thirty feet before reaching a slightly wider abandoned tunnel, with rotten wooden stakes and rusty iron tools scattered on the ground. After walking another hundred feet or so, the tunnel began to slope upwards, and they could vaguely hear faint light and noisy voices ahead—they had approached the edge of the main cave of "Flame Valley".

Lin Feng gestured for them to stop and listened intently. Outside, it was the noisy moment of shift change among the miners, with the shouts of the overseers, the crack of whips, and the heavy footsteps all mixed together.

He gestured, and the three of them quickly put on the tattered coats they had prepared, which were covered in mine dust. They wrapped most of their faces with headscarves, put the "bomb" and kerosene separately in their pockets, and with their heads down, they blended into the bustling crowd heading towards the shack area, like three exhausted miners who had just finished work.

No one gave them a second glance. Here, everyone's face was blurred, and they moved numbly just to survive.

Using the detailed map provided by Fengling, Lin Feng and his companions skillfully avoided several key outposts, gradually approaching the altar area under the cover of dim light and complex terrain. The closer they got to the center, the more heavily guarded they became, and the more numerous the "Crimson Abyss" cultists and "Blood Wolf Guards" appeared.

As the hour of Xu approached, Lin Feng and his two companions finally stealthily arrived at their designated location—the southwest side of the altar, near a temporary warehouse piled with raw "Crimson Flame Crystals" and a large quantity of semi-finished "Crimson Flame Thunder." The warehouse was constructed of large logs and stone slabs, and two listless guards stood at the entrance.

Lin Feng gave a wink to one of the demolition experts. The man understood, slipped out of the shadows, and slightly raised a blowpipe in his hand.

"Pfft pfft."

Two almost inaudible soft sounds rang out, and the two guards at the door went limp and slowly collapsed, quickly being dragged to a corner. Each of them had a tiny poisoned needle embedded in their neck.

Lin Feng and another person quickly stepped forward to inspect the warehouse. The space inside was quite large, piled high with "Crimson Flame Crystal" raw stones, gleaming with a dark red luster, and dozens of neatly stacked boxes of finished "Crimson Flame Thunder" products. The air was thick with the pungent smell of sulfur and metal.

"This is it!" Lin Feng shouted in a low voice, "Quickly! Set up according to the first plan!"

The two demolition experts immediately sprang into action. They cleverly placed the specially made small bombs and oil canisters between the key support points of the warehouse and the finished "Crimson Flame Thunder" boxes, using specially made oil-soaked hemp rope with a controllable burning speed as fuses.

"The defenses are set up!" Less than fifteen minutes later, the two returned to their superior, their faces glistening with sweat and excitement. "Once ignited, it will trigger a chain reaction of explosions, enough to send this warehouse and the surrounding area to their doom!"

"Okay!" Lin Feng nodded. "Chen Heng should be making his move soon. Let's retreat to the designated location!"

The three quickly cleaned up the traces they left behind, left the warehouse, dragged the two unconscious guards back to their original positions, pretended to be slacking off and taking a nap, and then disappeared into the darkness.

Less than half a cup of tea's time after they left.

"Whoosh—smack!"

A signal arrow trailing a striking green flame suddenly shot out from the direction of the "Flame Valley" entrance into the fog-filled sky, exploding into a cluster of eerie green light!

Immediately afterwards, deafening shouts of battle, the clanging of weapons, and several violent explosions erupted from the entrance! Chen Heng's feint attack had begun!

"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"

"Quickly! Send a team to the entrance!"

The interior of Flame Valley instantly erupted like a hornet's nest, filled with the sounds of alarm gongs, shouts, and chaotic footsteps. Large numbers of guards and "Blood Wolf Guards" were drawn by the commotion at the entrance, rushing towards it. The security around the altar also loosened slightly.

Almost at the same moment the green signal arrow was launched, riots broke out simultaneously in several locations among the miners!

Scarface, his eyes bloodshot, brandished a thick, sharpened wooden stick he'd somehow acquired, roaring as he charged at the guards watching over the "sacrifice" cage: "Fight these beasts! Save the children!"

"Wang Tietou" led dozens of strong miners, who were also armed with crude weapons, like enraged beasts, into the rest area where the overseers and guards gathered. They beat people and smashed things in sight, making the already chaotic scene even more chaotic!

Meanwhile, Granny Meng, Fengling, and Fengjue led a large group of elderly, weak, women, and children, braving flying stones and arrows, towards the prison area. Fengling held a silver needle in her hand and accurately shot down the guards blocking the way, while Fengjue took out a hidden short knife and vigorously hacked at the rusted iron locks on the cages.

"Quick! Children, come with us! That way! There's a way out!" Feng Jue shouted to the terrified children in the cage.
