Iron Ridge Mountains.

This is the backbone of the continent and the home of the dwarfs.

The endless black mountain range resembles the skeleton of a giant beast.

The interior of the mountain was hollowed out by the dwarves over thousands of years to create a massive underground city called Ironforge.

At this moment, the only entrance to Ironforge is completely sealed off.

Thousands upon thousands of runes on the door lit up, forming a golden curtain of light.

This is the earth-protecting barrier that the dwarves are most proud of; it is said to be able to withstand the simultaneous attacks of three gods.

Behind the door is a spacious underground plaza.

Hundreds of thousands of dwarven warriors, armed with battle axes and muskets, stood ready for battle.

There was no fear on their faces, only the stubbornness and pride that belong to the children of the mountains.

In the throne room.

The dwarf king Bronzebeard Ironhammer was gulping down a large cup of strong liquor.

"Let him come!"

Copperbeard slammed his wine glass heavily on the table.

"We dwarves were born from stones! He can smash a city, but can he really smash an entire mountain range?"

"As long as we close the door, even if he has an army of millions, he can only watch helplessly outside!"

"Once he runs out of patience, we'll rush out and blast him to smithereens with our newly crafted rune cannons!"

The dwarf elders in the hall nodded and raised their glasses in agreement.

"That's right! We have enough food and water to stay underground for a hundred years without any problem!"

"Our forge fire will never be extinguished! Let's use this time to forge a few more divine artifacts!"

Blind confidence permeated the entire Ironforge.

They believed in their craft and that the mountains would protect them.

Outside the mountains.

The undead army has arrived.

More than ten million undead have completely surrounded the foot of the Ironridge Mountains.

Li Fan sat on a boulder, holding a telescope, observing the tightly closed black iron gate.

"The runes are well engraved."

Li Fan put down his binoculars.

"The structure is very stable, so it does take some effort to force it."

Eric and Sylvanas behind him remained silent.

Eric gripped the demon sword, his eyes glowing with ghostly fire as he stared at the door, seemingly recalling something.

Sylvanas floated in mid-air, her blood-red eyes filled with hatred for life.

"Since they like being turtles."

Li Fan stood up and clapped his hands.

"Then let's turn their turtle shells into a pressure cooker."

He turned around and looked at the two generals behind him.

Sylvanas.

The Queen of Pain floated over and gave Li Fan a gesture of respect by touching her chest.

"Owner."

"See those ventilation openings on the mountaintops?" Li Fan pointed to the inconspicuous openings throughout the mountain range.

"That's what the dwarves use to ventilate the dungeons."

"Take your Banshee Archer and go deliver some gifts to them."

"I don't need them to die, I just need them to suffocate."

Sylvanas understood.

She let out a sharp shriek.

One hundred thousand female archers instantly took to the air and flew towards the ventilation shafts.

Eric.

Li Fan then looked at the fallen hero.

"You take the Demon King's army and block all the exits."

Not even a fly is allowed to get out.

Eric growled and turned to leave.

Soon, the army of millions of undead began to move.

Instead of attacking the sturdy gate, they crawled all over the mountain like ants, sealing every possible gap and opening.

After doing all this, Li Fan walked to the foot of the Iron Ridge Mountains.

He reached out and gently pressed his hand against the cold rock wall.

A dark red light appeared in Li Fan's palm.

The light traveled down his palm and into the mountain.

Inside Ironforge.

The dwarves were still drinking and boasting.

"Haha, listen, there's no more noise outside!"

"That demon king must have been too scared to do anything when he saw our iron gate!"

"Coward! I thought he was so capable!"

Sudden.

A dwarf guard patrolling the mine tunnels smelled a strange odor.

The smell was very faint, like the odor of some kind of rotten flower, but with a hint of sweetness.

He took two puffs and felt a little dizzy.

"What happened?"

He shook his head, not paying much attention.

But soon, more and more dwarves smelled this odor.

"Cough cough... What's that smell?"

"It smells awful... I feel like I can't breathe..."

A craftsman who was forging suddenly coughed, and as he coughed, he spat a mouthful of black blood onto the red-hot anvil.

With a hiss, a puff of white smoke rose up.

On the mountaintop.

One hundred thousand banshee archers were firing incessantly at the ventilation shafts.

They didn't shoot ordinary arrows.

Rather, it was an arrow of plague formed from their resentment and curses.

These arrows do not cause physical damage, but they pollute the air, consume oxygen, and release a deadly poison that can damage nerves.

In the throne room.

King Bronzebeard also sensed that something was wrong.

He felt a tightness in his chest.

"Quick! Go check if there's a problem with the ventilation system!" he shouted.

A guard ran in.

"Your Majesty! Something terrible has happened! Poison gas is pouring into all the ventilation ducts!"

"What?!" King Bronzebeard suddenly stood up.

Just then.

The ground began to shake.

The chandelier on the ceiling of the hall fell down and shattered into pieces.

"An earthquake?!"

"No! It's not an earthquake!" A pale-faced dwarf elder in charge of the exploration pointed to the ground. "It's the temperature! The temperature underground is rising!"

The lowest level of Ironforge is the geothermal energy core.

The temperature there is now off the charts.

The rock face started to turn red and then melted.

Golden magma surged up from the depths of the earth, engulfing the mine tunnels, the warehouses, and the dwarves who couldn't escape in time.

"Aaaaaah!!"

"Help! Lava! Lava is coming!"

"Open the door! Open the door now!!"

The screams and wails echoed throughout the entire underground city.

The top layer is poisonous gas, and the bottom layer is magma.

The fortified fortress turned into a steamer of despair at that moment.

King Bronzebeard's eyes turned bloodshot as he looked at the hellish scene before him.

He got it.

That demon king never intended to attack the gate from the beginning.

He's going to roast them alive in his own home!

"Open the door!!!"

King Bronzebeard let out a desperate roar.

"Everyone! Charge out with me! Fight him to the death!!!"

The surviving dwarves rushed toward the massive black iron gate like madmen.

Several dwarf elders worked together to turn the winch.

Rumble...

The massive, sealed door slowly opened.

Fresh air rushed in.

The surviving dwarves breathed greedily, and then they saw the scene outside the door.

Outside the door was a massive, dark army of undead.

At the very front of the army, a man sat in a chair watching them.

"Yo."

Li Fan smiled.

"Are you willing to give it up?"

"I thought you guys would stay inside forever."
