Yan Zhong dragged Ma Yunfei out of the monitoring room like a dead dog, with one hand around his neck.

The steel soles of the shoes crunched on the blood-soaked ground, the sound particularly clear in the deathly silence of the fortress. Along the way were corpses of various shapes and gruesome bullet craters, and the strange smell of blood, gunpowder, and burnt flesh in the air was thick and pungent.

Ma Yunfei was no longer the spirited man he once was; he was utterly dejected, his legs dragging weakly through the pool of blood, leaving two dark tracks. His eyes were vacant; his will to resist, along with his pride, had been crushed to pieces twenty minutes earlier.

Deep within the fortress, a heavy steel gate stood tightly shut.

Behind the door lay the Ma family's last hope, and their final act of madness.

"Everyone outside, listen up!"

Inside the door, Ma Shichang's hoarse roar came through the thick door panel, his voice distorted by extreme fear, sharp and piercing.

"I have five hostages! They're all innocent mountain folk who gather herbs nearby! If you dare to cause trouble, they'll have to pay with their lives!"

He was breathing heavily, as if he felt that such a threat was not enough.

"And another thing! I've strapped C4 to the core load-bearing structure of the entire fortress! The moment I press this remote, we're all going to be blown to bits! Nobody will survive! It's a total annihilation, understand?"

To prove he wasn't lying, he even pounded on the door: "Get me a helicopter! Now! Right now! Fill it with fuel! Or I'll blow it up!"

Yan Zhong stopped and casually threw the half-dead Ma Yunfei to the ground. He glanced at the demolition expert beside him, "Judge."

The judge took out a palm-sized detector from his tactical backpack and scanned the walls and doors. Several smooth waveforms appeared on the instrument's screen. He didn't even raise an eyebrow. He tapped a few times on his tactical terminal, bringing up the fortress's structural and signal distribution diagrams. Then he gave Yan Zhong an OK sign and silently mouthed two words.

"Fake."

Yan Zhong nodded, without offering any further expression.

There's no point in wasting words with a dying person.

"Titan".

"exist!"

The imposing, inhuman figure stepped forward, each step causing a slight tremor in the ground.

"Door." Yan Zhong uttered only one word.

"Alright!" Titan grinned, revealing two rows of gleaming white teeth. He chuckled as he cracked his fist, which was bigger than Ma Yunfei's head, and said, "Captain, we're professionals at dismantling doors!"

He walked up to the thick, 20-centimeter-thick steel gate, ignoring the complicated electronic lock beside it, and waved to the three equally burly team members behind him.

The four "iron towers" seemed to understand each other perfectly, each occupying one of the four corners of the gate.

They didn't use C4, didn't use a cutting machine, and didn't even bring hydraulic shears.

The four men took a deep breath and forcefully inserted their gloved fingers into the tiny gap between the door frame and the wall, a gap so narrow that even a piece of paper couldn't fit through!

The sensation transmitted through my fingertips was that of cold, hard metal.

"rise!"

Titan roared!

The four of them exerted force backward at the same time, their arm muscles bulging and veins popping out, stretching their tactical gloves almost to the point of tearing!

"Crunch...squeak...squeak..."

A chilling, teeth-grinding metallic clang came from the door. Dust on the ceiling was shaken down by the force.

The seemingly indestructible steel gate, under the tearing force of four inhuman forces, began to deform and bend outwards at a speed visible to the naked eye!

Inside the sealed room, Ma Shichang stared intently at the monitor screen, his palms sweating profusely, waiting for a response from the person outside.

But the image on the screen caused his brain to freeze on the spot.

What did he see?

Those four monsters, each over two meters tall... were using their hands... to tear apart his expensively crafted alloy door, which was said to be able to withstand the direct impact of a rocket?

The madness and ferocity on his face froze instantly.

Instead, there was incomprehensible horror and bewilderment.

Is this a person?

Is this something a human could do?

The detonator in his hand seemed like a joke at that moment, and he lost even the courage to press it.

"boom!"

With a final, deafening crash, the twisted steel door was pulled out of the deeply embedded wall by the combined efforts of the four people, and then slammed to the ground like trash.

Amidst the billowing smoke and dust, Ma Shichang finally snapped out of his daze. His survival instinct made him instinctively reach for the button that was actually useless.

But his fingertips were still 0.01 centimeters away from the button.

A dark figure had silently appeared in front of him.

He felt a chill on his wrist, followed by a piercing pain. The detonator flew out of his hand, but Yan Zhong caught it steadily and casually tossed it to the judge behind him.

"Ah! I'll fight you to the death!"

With his last lifeline gone, Ma Shichang's reason completely collapsed. In a frenzy, he pulled out the golden pistol from his waist and frantically pulled the trigger at Yan Zhong, who was standing right in front of him.

"Bang! Bang!"

Flames shot out from the muzzle of the gun.

The bullet missed its target.

One of Yan Zhong's teammates didn't even lift his eyelids, but simply raised his left arm casually.

Those two bullets, powerful enough to pierce steel plates, were actually stopped by the iron-hard muscles in his arms! The bullets were embedded in the muscle fibers, emitting blue smoke, unable to penetrate completely.

The next second, the team member slapped him across the face.

"Snapped!"

It was crisp and clear.

Ma Shichang spun around like a top, his teeth spitting out a mouthful of blood and foam. He saw stars, and before he could utter a single word, he collapsed limply to the ground, unconscious.

In the corner, several local villagers who were trembling with fear were quickly rescued, and the team members took off their coats and draped them over them.

The judge removed all the so-called C4 explosives in the corner in less than a minute, only to find that they were just a few poorly shaped pieces of mud.

Thus, the core strength of the Ma family drug trafficking group, which had been entrenched on the southwestern border for decades and was notorious for its crimes, was uprooted and completely destroyed in less than half an hour.

"Gold bars, US dollars, land deeds... everything that couldn't be taken was piled up in the hall."

Yan Zhong gave the final order.

"Burn it all up in one fire."

As the first rays of dawn pierce the clouds, they gild the canyon, which has been baptized by blood and fire.

Yan Zhong led fifty Dragonblood Warriors, escorting Ma Shichang and Ma Yunfei, who were being dragged on the ground like two dead dogs, as they slowly emerged from the "Devil's Jaw," which was constantly exploding and burning fiercely.

Li Weiguo and his three surviving brothers, who were on guard duty on the perimeter, had been waiting for a long time.

Looking at this group of divine soldiers who seemed to have emerged from purgatory, their bodies still stained with the blood of their enemies, yet not a single breath could be heard.

Li Weiguo and his three companions, without prior arrangement, straightened their chests, stood at attention, and offered the most standard and noble military salute of their military careers to the returning heroes.

Yan Zhong walked up to Li Weiguo and tossed him an encrypted satellite phone.

"Notify your superiors to send someone to clean up. These two men, and the things inside, are spoils of war."

His voice contained no trace of the relief one feels after completing a task, only a sense of matter-of-fact calm.

"Our mission is complete."
