The Empress Kneels in Her Palace to Admit Her Mistakes After Slaying Her Ways in the Female-Oriented

Gu Qingyue's words were crucial.

One sentence startled the other three beautiful female commanders. Upon closer inspection, they found that, sure enough, the grain transport was entirely carried by men!

There wasn't a single woman in it!

"What are they trying to do? Our all-female army relies on all the women in the world; it's the men who transport our food. What will people say if word gets out? Won't they say that our all-female army relies on men?"

"Yes, it has to be a woman. That way, when we grow strong and influential, and our fame lasts for generations, we'll have real credibility. If we relied on men to obtain such a large sum of supplies, our authority would be greatly diminished!"

……

The four female commanders, exchanging words amongst themselves, quickly realized something was amiss. Immediately, Tang Baobao shouted, "Wait! Stop!"

The shout wasn't very loud, but the agricultural official, who had been directing operations nearby, heard it clearly. He quickly told everyone to stop before respectfully asking, "Ladies, what's wrong?"

Tang Baobao's expression was very unpleasant, and she coldly asked, "Why are there only men here?"

"Where are the women?"

"Women hold up half the sky, so why not let them transport supplies?"

The agricultural official was taken aback, clearly having never considered this principle before, but still honestly said, "Generals, well, since ancient times, transporting these heavy loads has always been done by men, so..."

Before he could finish speaking, several beautiful female commanders interrupted him: "Since ancient times? Hmph, you know that's 'since ancient times,' that's what happened before, but since we appeared, the world has changed!"

"The sun, moon, and stars have all changed!"

"We are an all-female army, and we are here to make a name for ourselves as women."

"If word gets out that you're sending men to transport our supplies, where will we put our faces?"

"What? Are you discriminating against us?"

"snort!"

"I think you just want to see if the knives in our hands are sharp enough!"

The agricultural official was startled, thinking, "Is this guy crazy?" But he dared not say it aloud, only internally contemplating it before finally saying, "Well, how about this..."

"Should I send all the men back and have the women of town come out to help you carry the grain?"

Tang Baobao was finally satisfied and nodded, saying, "That's more like it!"

"The foundation of our all-female army must be built by women."

Gu Qingyue, Shen Zhian, and Ning Wanqin, who were standing next to them, all nodded in unison, their faces serious, clearly taking this matter very seriously.

"Alright then!" the agricultural official said again, "I will call out the women in the town, but there is one problem: the number of women in our town is far less than the number of men."

"They are less than one-tenth the strength of men; if they were to exert themselves, I'm afraid...the speed would be much slower..."

Before she could finish speaking, Tang Baobao became angry again: "Insolence!"

"Why are there more men than women in Shuping Town?"

"You still say you haven't discriminated against us?"

"This is blatant discrimination!"

"Very well, you've angered us!"

"You can't afford the consequences!"

The agricultural official was startled, or rather, bewildered, and quickly waved his hands, saying, "No, no, ladies, this really has nothing to do with me!"

"You all know how high the bride price is in Yunjing. Our town of Shuping only grows cheap crops like sweet potatoes. The town is already poor. Do you really think that a bride can just move into the family?"

"Which girl would be willing to marry into our Shuping Town?"

"If this continues, a situation with more men than women will naturally emerge."

"It's fortunate that all the men in our Shuping Town are skilled farmers and able to grow sweet potatoes. Otherwise, we people in Shuping Town wouldn't even have a problem supporting ourselves, let alone getting married!"

The agricultural official was speaking the truth, but after he said that, all four commanders of the entire female army fell into deep thought, because at that moment, they suddenly realized an extremely important issue.

"You mean, these sweet potatoes were all grown by the men?"

The official in charge of agriculture honestly replied, "Yes!"

"Is that even a question?"

"They must all have been bred by men!"

Tang Baobao then asked, "Didn't we women do our part in this?"

The agricultural official shook his head and said, "Our Shuping Town only has a few women; how could they possibly contribute to farming!"

"The sweet potatoes in Shuping Town are all grown by men!"

"There's absolutely no problem with that!"

"I can assure you, several people!"

The four female commanders couldn't help but look at each other for a moment, and then involuntarily exclaimed in their hearts.

"broken!"
